much like the legendary its a restrictive card for archetypes that hunters have relied on since vanilla.
Instead of using the small DR's, its for a few big ones. Unfortunately, the big ones cost about the same as this guy, so I dont know, but being able to float an additional Highmane DR might be worth it?

I don't think so. Srs question. I know it's OP as F, but would you even put 4 Highmanes in a MR deck? I know it sounds mad, but in Hunter, 6 is normally the top of your curve. And the stats on this boy are a lot worse. Also stops you putting any of the other good Hunter cards with mediocre deathrattles in your deck.
Building a very niche deck that can use this in standard is possible, but not very strong because Carnivorous Cube is strictly better for a midrange build. In wild I think this card will be fun to experiment with and could end up being rather strong in a top heavy N'Zoth hunter build.
Why would ever play this over Savannah Highmane? And if you play this and Savannah then the Oozeling will often just be a crap version of Highmane. Really bad card.
I feel like there is a powerful (tier 2 or 3) late game hunter that is brewing with this... I mean I think you can only run 1 of these cause yeah you have 2 highmane's and deathstalker rexxar, but still... 6 mana 5/4 deathrattle summon either a 3/2, two 2/2s, or pull a beast from your deck doesn't seem that bad

exactly what I was thinking, also weakens carnivorous cube, which I think is better for big deathrattle decks (who needs 4 highmane deathrattle effects when you can have 6 highmanes and 6 deathrattle effects)
A cursory glance at deathrattle cards reveals Twilight Summoner and Skelemancer. In addition to others already mentioned, such as Devilsaur Egg and the new legendary. Even Meat Wagon would be a super interesting deathrattle for this guy to copy. Probably the strongest copy would be a Skelemancer though.
I'm going to go out on a limb (feel free to call me out later) and say that this card is good and is one of the cards that change how hunter will be played. The deck is starting to be rounded out with some legitimate cards. Things get a tad wonky at the 4 and 5 mana cost, but I think that can be figured out.
I think you guys are missing the point - this would not go into an existing deck archetype - it would create a new archetype. I'm just not entirely sure what that archetype would be yet.
And yeah, whatever the archetype is, it might not work.
Alright, let's review our range of Deathrattles for this guy. Savannah Highmane and Cairne Bloodhoof both have amazing Deathrattles for this guy, but they would both probably out compete it as a 6 drop anyways. Exploding Bloatbat's Deathrattle wouldn't be half bad for it, and Twilight Summoner's would be one of the best. Loot Hoarder/Polluted Hoarder would be okay, Infested Wolf wouldn't hold up a ton of value, Fiery Bat and Raptor Hatchling would both be trash, Abominable Bowman and Shaky Zipgunner would just be RNG, Bone Drake and Shallow Gravedigger would be RNG but not bad RNG all things considered, Harvest Golem wouldn't allow it to hold up value, Skelemancer's and Vryghoul's Deathrattles would be good but counterable and Rattling Rascal's Deathrattle would be pure trash. Rat Pack could give you a nice army of 1/1s, and Kindly Grandmother's Deathrattle would hold up some value...maybe? It would be really dope if you could get the new Hunter legendary's Deathrattle on top of this thing though...plus we'll have to see what other Deathrattle cards come out to truly decide its viability.

It doesn't get going until T8? Big priest works because the resurrect effects are cheap, and Barnes and the statue exist.

Try a Control Hunter, play 2x Mistress of Mixtures for early contest and some healing, 1x Bloodmage Thalnos for some draw and sometimes spell power (Grievous Bite, Explosive Trap, Snipe...), 1x Sergeant Sally for small aoe (or better if you increase her with cards like Forlorn Stalker or Shaky Zipgunner) and add 2x Seeping Oozeling for profit.
You can also play Play Dead if you want.

This card is good in deathrattle decks without Savannah Highmane. In decks with SH you don't really need Seeping Oozeling.

Edit: Cairne Bloodhoof also exists. As does Deathwing, Dragonlord.
Weasel Tunneler synergy.

Here's an incredibly brief sketch.
The problem is that Hunter already has Savannah Highmane on 6, and do you really have room to run this as well?
this card will never see play,
you have tons of better options for 6 mana minions with deathreattle :
Savannah Highmane (witch you canot put in your deck if you are runing this card and savannah is a must in a deathrattle deck)
Cairne Bloodhoof (witch is way better cuz its harder to remove for priests)
Bone Drake
Aya Blackpaw
and in wild you have
Piloted Sky Golem
Sylvanas Windrunner
Wobbling Runts is also a better 6 drop imo
Also, in wild, you can finally build that turn-6 Majordomo Executus Hunter deck you've been dreaming of.

Highmane -1/-1

I am told you are allowed to run multiple 6-drops in a deck.
No one shit on the Hunter Deathknight for being "unplayable because of Highmane."
