Finisher? This is anything, but a finisher.....sure, you could Alexstrasza on turn 9 and get King Krush off of Kathrena into Crackling Razormaw to get windfury for 16 burst damage on turn 10 for lethal, but that is pretty inconsistent and generally terrible. Most of the time, this is not going to pull anything worthwhile to warrent the mana cost.
This seems like a card that really depends on whether the meta is fast or slow. This card with just 3-4 large Beasts in your is almost auto Gamewinning. And Hunter has very strong cards to ensure that you have this card on turn 8 just abouts always, in the form of Tracking and Stitched Tracker. So the biggest question is whether you can make a Hunter deck, without all your early game Beasts and Houndmaster + Kill Command.
Hunters lack Reactive board clears, and they lack Life gain. What they do have however is Skill dependent Secret synergies. Especially with the new Wandering Monster. In a minion low deck, Explosive Trap is amazing, and with the right management of other ressourses, it's basically a 2 Mana Consercration. Freezing Trap acts as a very strong Stalling card, and Wandering Monster is Hunters best best on Health gain/Resoration. Combining this with neutral Stalling and Card Draw. And i think the deck might actually be viable.

I want a new title, but Flux won't let me have one,
Just laughing at those who thinks Control hunter will be viable...in order for a deck to be controlish, it needs control cards like AOE, which to this day they still have none... and late game..I'll give you that hunter has the DK and maybe this card but Crushing Walls is no where near good enough for control. Let's see what they get for the legendary weapon
I think Crushing Walls is a little underrated and is pretty useful against big priest, big druid and other big decks, but regardless: slower hunter decks have the tools they need to get to the mid-late game between cloaked huntress and secrets and other control tools. Control Hunter decks also don't need a ton of cards due to how their tutors and draw tools work: between tracking and stitched tracker they have the ability to get big end-game stuff they want while culling their less useful cheap cards. Rexxar also pretty much means you have something big and powerful to play every turn.
It's a different style than control priest, which is basically just heal up your board, clear the board, and then poke your opponent to death with Anduin or massive threats. Same with Control Warlock. Blow up the board repeatedly, play taunts, poke them to death with Gul'dan. It's more along the lines of playing really aggressive, game-ending things like Highmane and Zombeasts and force your opponent to respond. Even Control Hunter needs to start ahead I guess -- is what I'm trying to say.
I think you'll end up with a slower midrange list if you go that route, honestly. is it really control if it's not answering the opponents' threats? I much prefer the reactive control style, and it is fun trying to make it work in hunter. Crushing walls suffers from being a position-based card that's designed for a deck that can't answer the small creatures in the way very well, though it can be good against big priest et al if they overextend into it, which they don't in my experience. One rag at a time is enough for them.
Probably, but I'm not sure the label really matters. I think Hunter decks can only be a 'control' deck for so long before it transitions into an aggro-style deck because that's just what hunter does.
Just like DS Rexxar, i think i am most excited to play around with this card. Probably won't be good, but ill get to rank 10ish and then start playing this deck
Even while recruiting somewhat small minions this is still fairly good, just don't go overboard on 1-drops or battlecries and this card will have quite some value.

This might be a bit much, but for her cost and to be a legendary I think the beasts she recruits should be 5 or more. She shouldnt have the possobility of recruiting a stonetusk boar and a jeweled macaw upon death
I dont have her and it hasnt happened with me. Im just saying in a hypothetical circumstance that shouldnt happen and increasing the costs of what she recruits would in general make her a higher quality card
This doesn't affect control Hunter in any way. You think Hunter didn't have late game options? Hello, N'Zoth! I like the card though.
It seems like a decently good card, but I struggle to see the kind of deck it would work in.
Nice finisher for Midrange
8 mana minion for hunter, kek

Will King Krush finally be a good card?
2x Savannah Highmane
2x Abominable Bowman
2x Carnivorous Cube
1x Kathrena Winterwisp
1x N'Zoth, the Corruptor
and the rest of the deck: No Beasts and some deathrattle synergy.
good point! And of course two little sharks.
Maybe?
I know this sounds naive, but Recruiting King krush or other giant beast with charge in a (almost) no-beast deck would be funny.

Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
Think I finally found a good place for her in this deck. Check it out and let me know what you think!

I play her in my Hunter Deck
I think Shes best in Deathrattle Hunter, shes a good play dead target and thins your deck. Decent card, not op but good in the right deck.
