 So one card that has been sitting in my collection is a golden Bloodmage Thalnos and for a while now I’ve been pondering if I should keep it since it does have it’s uses in certain decks, or if i should disenchant it for The Lich King which is a card that has a use in just about every deck and is one that I see EVERYWHERE in Play.

I should probably note that i have Thalnos in a Shadowreaper Preist deck that I’m building and will need to replace it with something if I choose to swap it for Lich King.

Thalnos is too good not to keep and he will continue to see play for a very long time, long after the Lich King is gone. Also consider that although he may not be HoFed now, he is a candidate for the future given how common he is.

Yeah.  Don't DE Thalnos.  Don't DE any legendary in general in my opinion unless it's complete and utter trash.  Learned that lesson the hard way.  Bye, golden Harrison Jones

What, this is crazy talk, lich king sucks.  It only sees play cuz its still newish.  As soon as expansion comes out in december, the few decks clinging to LK will be replacing it with some new expensive legendary

but thalnos will be in decks that want to cycle, forever.

Don't disenchant Bloodmage Thalnos. Just don't do it.

Yep, keep Thalnos.  He's a long-term investment.  Lich is more dependent on current meta.  And since the new expansion is coming out soon, better wait up before crafting any new legendary.

He's a long term investment, just like everyone is saying. Especially when the time comes and he is HOF'd. That's 2 legendary dust value.

It's not in every Priest and control deck. It's in big decks for the lack of better options. LK is actually terrible for control because you can fatigue sooner.

Thalnos may not be the flashiest card but trust me what everyone else is saying  is true he's very good always had bean and most likely always will be

The problem with LK is that he usually only stays long enough to give you one card and those cards are very situational in different ways. You can absolutely win a game with the right LK card. Your can also get anti-magic shell with an empty board, Doom Pact with a full board, frostmourne when you'r e low on health, army of the dead when your deck is full of spells and battlecry minions. 

Usually one can build a deck around situational cards, but in this case you have no idea what you'll get.

Thalnos is an evergreen legendary that will likely never be nerfed  and can be used in a variety of decks.

Lich KIng is overrated
