unplayable, this needs to be a 2/2 to see competitive play (unless there will be something that makes this broken but i doubt it), decent arena card though
turn 1 do whatever, turn 2 this guy, turn 3 crash him and drop 3 recruits. turn 4 stegadon Its about as tempo as it gets unless your opponent just doesn't summon anything
Nice flavor and theoretically I like the direction of using dudes synergy in a kind of new way, as "banana-minions" from hand. But in practice it seems clunky and slow like everybody has already commented. Maybe we'll see some nice synergy in the coming set (sets) though? Hope so.
It is 3 cards in your hand for only 2 manas, if you start with the coin you can play this guy in turn 2 and a Mountain Giant in freaking turn 3.
Doing nothing for 2 turns when you're going second is rather bad for a class with such limited comeback mechanics. You can't really rely on getting exactly those 2 cards in hand at the right moment either. Warlock gets away with it because of lifetap and decent removal.
Also you still haven't mentioned anything that Small-Time Recruits doesn't do better (though you'd have to play the giant on 4.. which would still be fine).
You play a 1/1 in turn 2, opponent remove with hero power and then you play a 8/8 in turn 3, sounds pretty good to me.
You don't need those exactly cards in hand, a coined 4/9 dragon in turn 3 is pretty good too or a giant in turn 4 after Small-time works good as well, only pointing the potential of the card before saying is garbage.
I'll be testing it out for sure, in Wild at the very least. Recruit paladin is extremely strong in Wild, and sure, you have to play them from your hand, but 3 1-mana 1/1's sounds like it has great synergy in the archetype.
Even if this was a battlecry, it wouldn't be very good. What, 5 mana total for 4 1/1s? That's crap. And with it being deathrattle, you get a hefty delay on when the cards get into your hand at all, if handbuffing was your goal.
mayb ok, it might be just a little too slow tempo wise if recruits are 2 (which I imagine they are)

Meh, to slow if those dudes would have taunt it whould have been a funny card but like this its to irrelevant.

what's the point? Handbuffing? But that's not a very good deck so.... and this won't make it any better.

Sausage fest.
4 minions for 5 manas, curve perfectly in turn 2 and 3 for 1 card.
People saying this card is bad...
Looks like Firefly to me and Firefly see a lot of play, the only really downside is potion of madness, in a heavy priest meta is really unplayable.
i could see this is wild dude pally, possibly replacing haunted creeper, will definitely test that.

I can already see the N'Zoth/Darkshire Steward combos ripping up the field.
hand buff paladin is empowered
I wonder if this makes Hobgoblin paladin any good. That's a LOT of 1-attack minions.

Bad card.
if you wanted to generate hand buff value, you would just run doppelganster which never really worked out
Take a look at my most recent deck, Watch post, totem, menagerie shaman.
