yeah, sorry for asking, because I also think it's was an obvious one
but.. i just asked myself - what are the best and worst 3 drops you would (not) want to get. I was thinking whether or not people would include this card in their decks, if the good outcome has a bigger chance to occur.
board protection sounds good to me. Hunter finally gets a tool to keep their early game going instead of trading out. Still weak to aoe and direct removal tho

Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
Most of the time gonna be 1 for 1, and it really doesn't help hunter synergies much since it's slow. Secret hunter would run this easily, but it needs more to support.
Only triggers if you go face, which seems kinda bad to me. I suppose it could be used to mess with people as they try to play around explosive trap, but i don't think it's good.
It's a little hard to consider the viability of this card considering the full range of 3-drops we have in this game. Here's a few fun scenarios I could imagine: an enemy Pirate Warrior slamming into a Drakkari Defender and getting massively trolled, your hero getting a free heal off of Acolyte of Agony, a big-bodied minion like King Mukla just surviving and giving extra presence, an Acolyte of Pain giving you a free card, Mind Breaker showing up and being a pain to that Warrior that just wants to stack armor, Emperor Cobra destroying an enemy's minion, and the list goes on and on. We'll just have to see the play testing on this card before truly deciding its viability.
It is a very good defensive tool against aggro that tries to outrun you in the race for the face. Ignore their hydra and go face and stuff like that. Also, protection against weapon reach, I see it as a good tool against wild pirate warrior

so a random 3 drop will be summoned, which will be targeted instead?
Thats a good secret. If they use a 1 drop to attack you, chances are your 3 drop can survive
Strong secret giving some tempo, like this a lot.
Also Unlicensed Apothecary shenanigans.
Seems bad. You don't really care about damage mitigation as a hunter. Bear trap is better cause it is stable and guaranteed to summon a beast.
yep
This card isn't bad, a 3 costs card is on average a 3/3 it's good if you don't have a board, and there's also explosive they need to play around,
you might get mukla too which instantly wins you the game, seems like an interesting card.

Bear Trap summons the bear after you've been attacked. With this one the creature just gets summoned and takes the blow.

Secret Midrange or Control Hunter? This secret plus Bear Trap could stop aggro (if it's in the next expansion)
I hope the flavor text references Hero Quest

U don't need to be sorry, even if it was obvious, you have the right to ask, be happy.
