This. The randomness makes it pretty noncompetitive esp with how many sets are playable in standard right now. Probably won't be played in constructed. In general, the effects aren't even that crazy to begin with.

Exactly. If you could 100% copy the minion or like 100% get an effect then it might be decient without a 100% chance to have the effect you want its just a +2/+2 with a bonus you cant build around unless your trying to do a buffs deck at which point paladin has been the most consistant and that is with the quest which is not a tool box priest has nor enough effective buffs to work in sync. i would say maybe for arenas competative it would really really suprise me to see it see play competatively.
As far as the bonuses go, divine shield is great, copy and deathrattle are usually good, and lifesteal is ok. The randomness of the bonus isn't actually that big of a problem (look at babbling book, for instance). I can definitely see this card slotting into a tempo priest deck, and tempo priest is almost there with cards like Shadow Ascendant and Kabal Talonpriest around.
I think that it has some potential, but wont see any play unless something like zoo priest really kicks in. Divine shield looks really good, but even if it was garenteed to roll that one, it still wouldnt see play in raza priest. Will probably be great in arena tho!
I think the only version that's shaky in terms of current Tempo Priest builds is Vitality (the Lifesteal version), since it would only really matter against other minion-based tempo decks. Summoning a 1/1 copy has surprisingly good targets in Shadow Ascendant, Radiant Elemental, and Cobalt Scalebane and might end up receiving more targets. Hope (the Deathrattle one) would be awesome for buffing a bigger minion, trading against a Bonemare'd minion and letting you replay the minion to give you more late-game push. And Purity (Divine Shield) is pretty great all around.
This is a good card if a Tempo Priest deck comes about.

How does this card work? Does the extra effect appear when you draw the card? Does it appear when you cast it? Does it randomize every turn?
All the effects are extremely strong except for lifesteal.
The card transforms upon being drawn from your deck. It only transforms once. If this ends up in your opening hand, you don't get a bonus effect. Same if you try to get this from Shadow Visions.
Maybe I'm missing something, but I thin its a arena only card.
In agreement mind you some people think to disagree alot of the community so maybe im wrong but i just dont see it as good enough to warrent replacing other cards currently available in deck the strongest possible play i could see with it would require you drop the 2/2 priest turn 2 into unidentified elixer turn 3 with the clone trigger to make the 1/1 so you end up with a 5/5 and a 2/2 end of turn 3. I just dont think its good enough just cause the trigger is unreliable. You get life steal its like whatever. You get shield they can still just poly/remove the minion. I mean its not bad bad but its not good enough to be reliable for competative play compaired to your other options but this is my opinion on it, only time will really tell. Ive understated and over stated cards before mind you I think im pretty accurate with this at the moment.
If I play Elixir of Life on a lifesteal minion, will I get double healing? And before someone answers with the probable No, then how come Corpsetaker heals for twice with Brann Bronzebeard.

Lifesteal is a stackable keyword, so it can be applied multiple times to a minion. Brann Bronzebeard grants double everything to Corpsetaker (provided the proper minions are in your deck), but it really only matters for Lifesteal since Taunt, Divine Shield, and Windfury are unable to stack. Elixir of Life, then, will give a minion like Acolyte of Agony two Lifesteals.
Something else interesting to think about is Frost Lich Jaina; if any Elementals with Lifesteal are printed, Frost Lich Jaina gives it Lifesteal again. That would be neat.
either original djinni gets +2/+2 then a copy of 1/1 summoned then the first copy gets the buff and a 1/1 copy of it summoned and so on till you fill the board, that is going to give you huge value like you going to have 1 6/8 and 6 3/3s basically 24 attack on the board and next turn buff them for lethal maybe....
Or the interaction going to be: first djinni gets buffed and it summons 1/1 and the copy isn't buffed and neither duplicated.
i guess i'm wrong with the first possible interaction, if someone see this correct me if you can please.

Safe to say this card will be in every Priest deck, it`s just too good for 3 mana.

yet another really good priest card that can just be thrown into reno priest .... yawn. I'll run it in my face priest deck though and that'll be fun.

1 question:
If I play Elixir of Life on a lifesteal minion, will I get double healing? And before someone answers with the probable No, then how come Corpsetaker heals for twice with Brann Bronzebeard.
i wonder its interaction in wild with Djinni of Zephyrs and Elixir of Shadows

Can't wait to use Elixir of Life to give Shadowboxer lifesteal.
1 card worth 2 is always good
I said "bad" because the text should be "gains a bonus effect when added to your hand" the heck is "in your hand"
