Don't know how control hunter will be after all cards come out, but in any viable control class this card is INSANEEEE.
Explanation: Note that right before you use this card, unless your opponent has exactly 2 minions, you'll trade away the ones you can kill by yourself, then use this card to KILL 2 MINIONS for 7 MANA. This is NOT as situational as it seems for the reason I've mentioned.
Note: This card is purely a control deck tool BUT let's compare it to deadly shot:
Deadly shot: Kills a RANDOM enemy minion, IE, you can never know what it'll hit, unless there's only 1.
With this card you know 100% of the time what minions it's going to destroy. Add the fact that you can trade the minion that you can kill with your own minions, and this card is a very effective and almost not situational at all, removal (of 2 minions for only 7 mana).
If hunter gets reliable healing tools, along side this card, deathstalker rexar, etc, this card alone will make control hunter a viable deck at the very least. If this card was in ANY other viable control class, it would be meta defining.
seems like a weird card to print for Hunter of all classes. Also seems very easy to play around. Could be good as a 1-of in a slower midrange hunter. I mean, if you ahve minions in play that can take out small stuff on the sides for good payoff.
So I presume the minion in the middle survives. It is an ok tool for a different archetype for Hunter, one that we don't see often if not at all. Depending on the rest of the cards it might prove good, average or just plain unplayable.
I always wanted more cards that makes you have to consider positioning. But I feel this may be too expensive, considering Control Hunter lacks support at the moment.
2. it makes positioning matter which is good for the game skill cap
3. it has clear counterplay but the counterplay works with the 2 mana spell from unguru (the mini mini swipe)
cons:
1. costs way too much fr a hunter card, and generally people are playing garbage minions.. but maybe with the new 135 cards we will see more midrangy or big decks.. who knows..
2.hunter is in a bad spot (again, tier 3 with ONE deck while no other in sight) this card doesn't seem to solve any hunter problem.
3. 7 mana is a lot.
4. it has a clear conterplay if played a lot people will position their weakest minions out.
all in all this card while not fitting hunter ATM it might be a great card if a more controllish hunter arrises and the meta is midrange heavy (like now, but with less fireflies)
nice card for hunter. makes placement against hunter kinda hard, because this card targets outer minions and Explosive Shot targets inner minions... i mean if there will be a viable control hunter deck, that plays both these cards.
but yeah, i like the idea

Dependant on Control Hunter working this time around. Great when you have Ateish for a massive tempo swing (destroying two minions + summoning a 7 drop), but until we know the other cards, this won't see play yet.
Just so you are all aware, this can only destroy two minions at most. That means you're paying 7 whole fucking mana to destroy two cards and you have no real control over which two cards you destroy. Deadly shot costs 3 mana, you're basically casting two deadly shots in a single card but you have to pay one extra mana. This card is really bad. On the other hand, they might release cards that synergies with this effect but I really doubt it. Why would you play this over bonemare?
Very wrong analysis friend. This card is MUCH MUCH stronger than deadly shot. The reason is that you know 100% which targets it's going to hit, where with deadly shot it's 100% random, unless there's only 1 card. And you can have some control over which are killed by trading the ones that you need to kill with trades, before using this card to kill the other two. This card is not nearly as situational as people think. Of course, in hunter as it is now, it wouldn't be so good, because it doesn't have enough control cards, but we should wait to see all of them, if it gets good control tools, this card is an insane removal card for it.

Now if only they would also give hunter a 0 mana spell that says, "Reposition one of your opponent's minions". Since it doesn't really kill anything, I think it could be 0 mana. And since you could reposition flametongue totem to negate some of its buffs or swap positions for better use of a spell (Grievous Bite or Explosive Shot or this spell), it would be the perfect complement to make this see some play.

Quit complaining and just have fun with this game!

If you're playing control you are not playing enough minions to reliably use this like that. Try playing this card against evolve shaman. You're going to get fucked. I've been playing exclusively control hunter in standard ever since the release of standard with 1400 hunter wins, I've been rank 4 every single season with it, it sucks a lot, I'm telling you from tons and tons of control hunter experience, this card is not better than bonemare, swamp king dred, or gladiators longbow, and if I threw this worthless shit into my deck right now I would lose pretty much every single game due to the massive tempo loss.
You're 100% right, as of right now this card is pretty much garbage for hunter, but I've said in my previous post on this thread (not the one which I respond to you) this already... Hunter needs more heal cards for this card to be viable, but as a standalone control tool, this card is absolutely insane. In any other control class, this card is tier 1 removal, hands down. And yeah, as of now, deadly shot is much better for the more aggressive variants of hunter.
I mean a card like Brawl costs 5, seems very expensive, especially since the opponent can play around it. Plus, hunter control is STILL nowhere near playable and I see no reason why it ever will be.

too expensive.
warlock can clear everything for 8
Interesting in itself.
However, if it requires 2+ minions on the opponent's side, it will be excessively situational for its cost; no matter the virtual power.
Neat hard removal for hunter, but prolly too expensive and easily played around.
Have to really go all in on Control hunter to use this.

Another gimmicky card for Control Hunter.
Why Blizz?? Why do you hate Slow-paced Hunter archetypes so much? Why all the good hunter cards needs to be aggro board-vomit and face damage related?
Who goes thar?!

I'm in charge now!

I tried having fun once. It was awful.
I like the effect, but it is probably too expensive to see much use.
Most of all I like that we are seeing more positional effects again.
So I presume the minion in the middle survives. It is an ok tool for a different archetype for Hunter, one that we don't see often if not at all. Depending on the rest of the cards it might prove good, average or just plain unplayable.
So you thought only Mage had an exodia combo eh

pros:
1. it's a double assassinate (good in arena)
2. it makes positioning matter which is good for the game skill cap

Expensive removal for a class whose hero power reads "Deal 2 damage to the enemy hero". Just crap.

400 dust. No explain needed. For hunter to play a 7 mana card it must have charge, or a high face damage.
My magic will tear you apart!
