Are Twig of the World Treeand Geosculptor Yip worth keeping? Not sure how well these hold up. The Twig doesn't seem very viable unless I'm missing something (which is VERY possible since I'm so ignorant to every expansion since the C'Thun expansion which I knew almost nothing about as well).
Yip may be solid but I'm just not a warrior player so not sure if he's worth keeping around. I have no problem dusting legendaries I won't use.

Kind of a tough question, particularly for Twig. I started playing shortly after KOFT and iirc everyone felt the same way about Kun until late into the KOFT meta. I have a feeling Twig will be the same; it's kind of a sleeper card (viewed as "meh", but not terrible", but I can see it being much more useful later on down the line. As far as Geosculptor Yip goes, I honestly say keep it. When I first started I dusted legendaries for classes I didn't use all the time, and I regret it so incredibly much now. I honestly say keep both.
Twig is actually really good in OTK decks. There's very little weapon removal in the meta right now so you can save the last charge for a 20 mana turn. Aviana + Xin + Malygos + Faceless gives you +20 spell power so two Moonfires will kill pretty much anyone. I use it for a big mill turn + Togwaggle to keep my opponent's deck but that's more of a meme setup. It also works amazingly with Medivh. T7 play Medivh, get 10 mana to UI with.
Yip is really good in a recruit warrior. If you have no interest in a big warrior or control warrior, don't bother with him then.
Yeah I get what your saying but warrior has absolutely zero wins towards a golden hero and a 4 classes have over 100 with some hitting 350+. Warrior has just never appealed to me. I even had Grommash but dusted him along with all my legendaries/epics when I quit hard.
No regrets about it though. Im just looking for something to kill time at work til I get enough coins for arena runs where I have the most fun.
Well, i can see you don't really like to play warrior that much, don't bother to keep Yip, then. So you can make a deck with a class that you like. i think Yip can be used with some recruit warrior or control warrior that uses a lot of armor cards.
The only problem is that there's a risk to open the same legendary again when you Dust it, So... sometimes is better to dust epic cards instead. But if you really need the dust, go ahead.
What is funny, is that i never liked Druid, for example, just like in the same way that you don't like warrior. But then, i've found a combo deck to play on wild mode with druid, it's a fun deck, and now, i'm enjoying to play with the class. So maybe, you can find some cool thing to play with the class, you just have to give it a chance.
About Twig, i think it's a safe keep, there's a lot of combo potential with this weapon. People did not find the best use yet, but is a powerfull weapon, for sure ! And as more expansions and cards are released, it gets stronger. Have you ever heard that you can use Medivh, the Guardian to destroy your twig faster ? you can make a crazy turn, for example, destroy your Twig turn 10 with Medivh, and Play a card like Ultimate Infestation and something else, you can use as much as 20 mana in one turn ! it's really powerfull, you can make combos with Malygos too, there is really a lot of things, but people will discover more use for this weapon with time. =)
I crafted twig. It's not much of a ramp card; even if you play it on curve, you're almost always already at 10 mana by the time it breaks. What you'd use it for is 20 mana turns with or without Medivh. If you have Blingtron, it's pretty fun to play with in wild
My personal opinion after playing a lot with it is that it's almost good enough for competitive play but not quite. Maybe it will become better if it gets synergy in later expansions or the overall power level drops in rotation
yip is gonna summon you the nzoth anyway.i think its the worst legendary at the moment.while twig can be really useful for some malygos and refreshing combos, but with Kun in standard it is rare to see it.also,if the weapon was 1/2 it was really much better. You have to mulligan for it otherwise it is useless.
I've played a bit with twig and it's done pretty poorly. Having a turn 4 "do nothing" against aggro is deadly and having to swing with it for 4 turns against a control deck with taunts is just as deadly. As far as combo pieces go, it's one of the worst.
I think Twig is not seeing play because Kun is still in Standard, but after that I can see it working in some combo decks. I too got Twig from my log in and I'm keeping it.
Yip, I think he'll be an important Warrior leg so keep it as well.
How does Kun the Forgotten King replace Twig of the World Tree ? Since Aviana is not in Standard, Kun can't serve the same purpose. He is merely a free 7/7 (or a 10 armor gain against burst decks), but he cannot enable any combo beyond 10 mana. If the twig is not played now, then rotating Kun will not make the twig playable. There needs to be something completely different new in the new expansion.
Hey guys, I'd like to spend my 3k dust soon. Because I'm playing for quite a long time now, most of the cards from other expansions are existing. So I'd love to hear some opinions on the following crafts and decks:
Control Warlock: Craft 2x Voidlord( Master Oakheart already exists) --> 800 Dust Is Rin, the First Discipleworth a craft? I thought I might play the deck without this card, because I'm unsure about crafting here.
And now a big question here: Craft Sunkeeper Tarim or Val'anyr for this Deck? (--> 1600 Dust, then everything is spent :D) I'd say Tarim, because I don't open that mayn UG booster anymore and he can also be played in other Control-Style Decks. What is your opinion here, could I replace Val'anyr with some other weapon (Truesilver or Rallyblade).

Definitelly craft Sunkeeper Tarim! Imho he's absolutely amazing and I doubt you would have much success higher up in the ladder without him. Val'anyr only helps in slower matchups and usually isn't that of a neccesity and I would replace it with 2x Unidentified Maul instead of the Rallying Blade. Hope this answers your question!
I have personally gone through phases of most classes, I first liked priest, then warrior with patron, then rogue, warlock, and paladin all at once, then druid and shaman, and now rogue again as well as hunter and Mage. I have at various points also hated each class and never wanted to play it again, and then proceeded to find it had gotten cool stuff I liked later on. My advice is never dust epics, but I never really felt too bad about any legendary cards I dusted. Except Edwin Van Cleef. Because I play rogue pretty consistently and have for 2 years, even if I was not always super excited by it. Like during KotFT. So I would probably dust the yip if you need dust to make something you want, but the twig you should keep, it is not staple in anything, but it is very good, especially withmeduvh and Ui as someone said.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
Geosculptor Yip is pretty strong in theory. Warrior has lots of ways to get to 10 armor easily. The only thing really holding it back right now is the number of bad 10 drops which kind of makes the investment moot. Yip's better after the rotation when all the bad Old Gods (C'thun, Yogg, N'zoth) go away which leaves you with a higher chance to get something like Tyrantus or Deathwing (and at worst with an 8/8). It's basically a better Rotface
Twig of the World Tree is a little different. It's currently too slow as a combo tool. It works fine if you get it on the wayof assembling your combo so you can fire off right after you got all the pieces...but if you already have the combo and need to still look for the Twig is godawful an completely unviable.
What could make it work would be a Blingtron-esque effect. Some neutral card around 3-5 mana that could read "destroy your own weapon to gain an upside" or "destroy both players weapons" or anythig of the sort. With a low enough mana cost it could work as basically 4-6 extra mana in a single turn (or at the very least a fast ramp combo) which could work as it's own archetype.
Would definitely hold on to both of them. The potential is just too good
Not normally. He is classic, which means he'll be playable forever, but if you don't have a good collection for those niche Legendary Big Decks that he fits in, then that *is* 400 dust.

The Roshambo to Hearthstone. Please be nice. Don't insult or be mad at someone for throwing Rock.
Well the card is fine and it sees play from time to time on mid-range and control decks as a panic button and last resort come back mechanic so I would keep him, I think he falls in the legendary category of: Nice to have it if you open it but not good enough to be worth crafting.
Golden - disenchant with no regret, regular I think worth keeping. It's one of those "last chance" cards plus dragon synergy is nice in priest I guess.
He keeps popping up in little pockets, but has never really been TOP tier. Discard zoo is another spot. Nonetheless... i personally wouldn't dust him. If you don't have a big collection, he can actually make lots of decks better (especially in Warlock).
So you ask whether it is playable besides the deck it is playable in? No, it isn't. There are presently no decks it is played except for Big Druid and Big Warrior. It has been played in Dragon warrior and also Dragon Priest as an emergency plan. But nowadays the big Dragons usually are found via Netherspite Historian .
BUT Deathwing always is on the border between playable and non-playable. So I'd keep him if you do not necessarily Need the dust. And when you always disenchant your legendaries that are only usable in specific decks you are not yet able to build (due to other missing cards), you will never be able to build these decks. Deathwing could be your first step to build a BIG Druid/Priest/Warrior...

I guess I'll hang on to both for now. Seems like neither are on Millhouse level. Guess is doesn't hurt to have them around in quests for coins.
