Seconded Baku. Velen is likely dead post rotation due to all the resurrection cards rotating out. Baku will be better for longer, and if you have any interest in wild it will be permanently powerful. It's also more likely to be nerfed in my opinion, so could be a free craft.
Zihi seems more universally applicable, and will probably have a longer meta life than Hakkar. Once Waggle rotates, Hakkar might find quite a bit more trouble finding a deck. Mechathun seems better for an otk style deck if that's what you want.

i would like to craft a card. what do you recommend for me? probably i am undecided between Baku the Mooneater and Prophet Velen.
thanks for any reply
While Baku is the easy craft, Velen is a Classic for priest. He’s a great card, and seems to come in and out of the meta. I would say Velen, but only if you really enjoy priest. Otherwise, Baku does open up more decks right now.
Slyde, my commiserations about the new nerfs. Who knew Blizzard would be sending so much work your way in the space of a couple months!? Good luck with the reassignments when they come.
The fact that Zerek, Voone and Grumble are considered trash (t4 for Grumble) genuinely saddens me. All 3 are great cards with great effects with loads of value to be gained. Just shows how mindless most players are and just follow the crowd and the streamers. You can bet if a couple of streamers loved these cards they would be all over the place in no time. It's like everyone is wearing those horse blinder things and can only see 5% of whats there
Objectively speaking they are all way better than things higher on the list but they aren't in 65% winrate decks so "they suck". Yea seem totally legit and logical, well done HS players

It would not be the first time, and I expect this roud to be impactful than some others we had. Any help is appreciated! The first step is *marking the most heavily impacted cards.

There are a lot of fun and interresting cards that can have great top value or even have success with a single skilled player, but that does not make them recommended crafts in this list. Once a card has a home in a deck with a half decent winrate, they will be promoted. Millhouse Manastorm was recently promoted to tier 4, for example. My ears are yours if you have some good uses, if nothing else to point out things to try if you open them.

It's not just about netdecking, it's also about the cards winrates. When people are creative enough to create wacky decks like topsy turvy OTK priest and still can't find a way to win with Zerek, Voone and Grumble (at least post-saronite nerf) then why would they be ranked higher? They are better than things higher simply because you like them? That's not really how it works.
Those three don't even work in meme decks, they are very fairly ranked.

He doesn't mean they don't deserve their rankings, but that those cards haven't express their full potential yet. They're high value generator minions, however nowadays this aspect only isn't enough to make a card see play

Yea this is what I mean.
Also Grumble in control ele Shamy is defo better than t4, 1 mana Kalimos' and Al'ikir ect is broken as hell.
Captain Hooktusk sucks. You need to build a deck around her with mediocre pirates. Drawing these pirates makes her power turn weaker all the time but because she is so expensive the often comes after many drawn pirates.
Plus the opponent can prepare for her turn having his biggest board clear ready. And since the pirates only have rush it doesn't even too much to the enemy if he plays not a board dominant deck.

Captain Hooktusk is demoted to tier 3. Other rogue legendaries will probably be demoted soon following the Cold Blood nerf. The Lesser Emerald Spellstone should have an impact on the Hunter ones but all of this is rather difficult to predict, so I'll wait for now...
Maybe she'll get more support in the next year but I highly doubt it since we all know blizzards anti contingency sets of the past (for instance introducing magnetic followed by declaring they will not print further cards with it after Boomsday.)

I think hunter will keep being tier 2 status, hunter mark hurts a bit but hunter got other tools in DR hunter, spells/secret hunter will keep using it, spellstone is still very powerful
Did some updates following the nerfs, but more is to come! Some very important cards for several classes were hit...
The hardest part is usually to figure out which cards BENEFIT from the nerfs. A new topsy combo priest is doing amazingly now, but I am a bit reluctant to promote the key cards all the way up to tier 1 just yet. Master Oakheart Tier 4 to 2 Rhok'delar Tier 1 to 2 Zul'jin Tier 1 to 2 Shirvallah, the Tiger Tier 1 to 3 High Priest Thekal Tier 1 to 3
Baku should be safer and open up more decks. I see powerful odd-decks also after the rotation.
That is unless you have the rest og clone priest already and love the combo playstyle...

Alright, should I craft Zihi of Hakkar?
I want some decks to play after rotation, so even shaman, warlock and even maybe a funky even warrior? I need one against OTK's...

What would be a good deck for Ragnaros, Lightlord? I got him recently, and I really want to try him up.

Togwaggle, Hakkar, Krag'wa seem a little low
Maybe Hooktusk should b Tier 3? Tempo pirate rogue doesn't seem so good (even though the card itself is)
This probably should be changed, since there are changes from 2019 in that part of the post.
