SlydE, I have a request. Can you change the name of Tier 2 to something other than "Tech"? It causes problems when trying to explain concepts to people. Yes, Hemet Nessingwary is a tech card, and no, you shouldn't craft it because it's a tier 5 tech card.
It would be nice to point out cards that are required for archetypes. You can't play quest rogue without The Caverns Below but you can play control warlock without Lord Godfrey. You can't play Witching Hour value druid without Hadronox but you can play taunt druid without it. ...and while you can play even or odd decks without Baku the Mooneater or Genn Greymane, it would be idiotic as the hero power effect is what you're sacrificing card choices for.
It would also be nice to point out anti-synergy between legendaries. Frost Lich Jaina and Aluneth are both great cards to craft, but you don't want to put them into the same deck; Aluneth will kill you long before you could obtain any value from elemental healing.
Lastly of really minor note, Mayor Noggenfogger has one unique use: it is the only way to use the "sorry" emote since it was removed back in Old Gods. None of the hero cards have a sorry emote, but every single playable hero has one, including recent ones like Arthas (A royal apology, friend.), Nemsy (Awww, I'm sorry.), and Lunara (I have to apologize for that.). It still doesn't bring him out of trash tier, but it is still cool.
I tried my best to come up with a better name for tier 2, the alpha version called it "runner-ups" but it was axed. In the end it is fine imo, it is a commonly used name in tier lists, and it contains tech cards for top decks and build-arounds for tech decks.
As for the quests, Baku/Genn decks etc. I am confident in that the readers will understand that they are required for certain archetypes. Otherwise I have tried to write "staple in..." for those buildaround/OP cards, but the consisancy can always be improved, and updates are needed if you find something.
If you want to play with them right away, and you have golden trahstier legs etc, I think it is fine. If it is just to have them in the collenction, I would wait.
I'm a Control lover. My favorite classes are Priest and Warrior. SRA seems like a nobrainer. I almost crafted him but then the Raza nerf hit and I wasn't sure how he'd do after rotation. I also feel like I could use a Quest Rogue as it is the deck I struggle with the most and I'd get to learn it better by playing it.
Zola the Gorgon is safe craft for a ton of classes aside from Quest rogue, I crafted her when she first released and haven't looked back, overall strong card. Personally I think that Baku/Genn are safe based on what you prefer because they're overall pretty powerful, and if you like control warrior Baku Warrior may appeal to you big time. Keleseth is also very strong in aggro/zoo decks, also some control decks run it as a plus if they have no strong 2 drops they want.
Also, as much as I love Rhok'delar and spell hunter, I think it may need to drop down a tier, it's still staple in Spell Hunter but the archetype has been struggling ever since Barnes/Y'shaarj rotated out.

Good list and questions. Personally I'd argue that Genn and Baku are both safe and arguably "necessary" crafts at this point. In terms of control I'd probably go for the Control Warlock package, I play it and Rin is a lot of fun if you can pull it off. However if Priest is your favourite class, SRA is a great card.
Sunkeeper may get nerfed soon (something I personally strongly disagree with but oh well) and Quest may get nerfed again if you can believe that so I'd wait on both of those as well as Zola and Sonya as those two may not see too much play if Quest is nerfed yet again.
So I'd recommend, based on your personal preferences:

Actually, the upcoming nerf may be a good reason to try these cards as you'll get full dust value back temporarily if the nerf does materialize.

Well if doesn't materialize then the person will have cards for archetypes if may not enjoy? But yeah, if they do for those cards that's a good point. I'd wait until it's confirmed before crafting any of them however.
You should have an Emperor Thaurissan for that deck. Also Edwin and Preparation are very good classic cards, I would craft those as they'll always be good in standard as well.
Which option is better - to craft one legendary or 4-5 epics + 2-4 rares? Legendary, even the best, without many other cards is just unplayable... What would you do?
Honestly, I'd recommend the epics (although 1 legendary is 4 epics, not 4-5 + 2-4 rares) since it opens up more doors for you. Many legendaries simply make the deck better, but aren't crucial to it. Although I have crafted legendaries that I simply couldn't do without, such as Baku and Deathstalker Rexxar.
I wouldn't craft even the "safe" legendaries most people recommend, like Thalnos or Leeroy, however, since you can often substitute worse-performing but still viable cards for them. But you have to be smart about what you craft with epics as well, Primordial Drake is probably a good idea, Doomerang not so much.
So I just got a golden Deathwing. Looked around and saw it was only used in Big Druid and Control Warrior back in the day. Any point in keeping it now or should I just dust it and finally make that Bloodreaver Gul'dan I've been trying to get forever?

Is Lord Godfrey really that good? I've mostly been replacing him with Nether or Lich King or some other cool card.
Budget is 5000 dust. Which cards to craft?

Thanks for your tips!
Keep it, I did with my golden one!

Draw? That's not how you say you get a card from a pack, and if you really don't think you'll ever use it, dust it
Don't mind me just passing by
