Just played a game with my Djinni of Zephyrs deck and I noticed that potion of madness did not give the Djinni charge anymore. I still won because I was able to steal & buff my opponent's Ysera & destroy their taunt, but the deck is dead now.
EDIT: Seems this was a result of the recent patch.
In terms of why it was changed, the charge was a hidden side-effect, so I doubt that interaction was intended. As to when, I can only guess the recent "trigger" patch.

Thanks for figuring it out!
For sure. Yeah, I was thinking that the patch might have had something to do with it. It's sad to see the deck go since it was a pretty interesting & wacky deck.
At least there are still other TTKs with Djinni out there. May be time to try those :)
The last patch had a significant change with how triggers work. In a nut shell, at the moment something happens (casting a spell, for example), a catalog of all current cards and ownership is created.
This means that casting potion of madness on an enemy actually treats it as casting it on an enemy (blashemy!). Djinni only works for spells cast on allies, so therefore no longer gains charge. This also means you will no longer Entomb your own Djinni anymore.
A lot of the Weasel Tunneler jankyness is also no more.
Faceless Manipulator and the Prince of Awefulness will still get charge when copying a potioned minion, so the mechanics of potion of madness itself remain unchanged.
Hope that clears things up.

And those copycats will go to the opponent at the end of the turn! I learned this the hard way as I tried to Faceless Manipulator on a Potion of Madness targeting Ally Armorsmith. :(

That is interresting!
