Outside of effects that refresh your Hero Power, this text makes no sense at all. It also screws over any double healing if you're playing Justicar Trueheart.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
Everyone seems to just forget that part because they are clouded from their lack of understanding the Priest match up because Priest has been irrelevant for so long.
Cards that require you to Handicap yourself that hard like Kazakus and Krul the Unshackled are going to be a lot stronger than the average Legendary minion to compensate for that.
Learn the match up, Play the proper decks or mirror it. And you will find you are complaining for no reason.

The way Priest has access to so many card generators (including cards copied from the oponent's deck), makes the "no duplicates" rule just a joke.
I would have to agree, that Shadow Visions is the main reason why Highlander Priest is able to be consistent. Eternal Servitude isn't even part of the Highlander lists, but I will say that card could be problematic in the future, Lyra the Sunshard isn't necessarily Overpowered, but is just a good example of degenerate card design.
All in all, Priest ability as a control class to generate value helps compensate for the Handicap.
The only real way for them to "fix" this deck is wait for the new season to roll around. Until that happens either some new creative deck will need to appear from the cards we have or in the last expansion this season. Personally i think it's more important for the Jade Mechanic to leave the environment.

I agree, Blizzard said they will print more late game orientated options, so that will help a lot, and in all Honesty the Jade Mechanic is the most problematic mechanic in the game.
Voidform: Deal 2 damage. After you play a minion, refresh this.
or:
Raza the Chained: If your deck has no duplicates, your hero power costs (0) the first time you use it on a turn.
The problem with nerfing Raza the Chained or Shadowreaper Anduin is that they have to be strong enough to warrant a Handicap, And to be honest, they are only oppressive together on curve, so I don't think it needs a nerf, especially since it isn't even as strong as Jade Druid last patch.
Honestly I think the most balanced way to make it is:
Voidform (2): Deal two damage. Whenever you play a card, refresh this (up to twice per turn)
3 times a turn is still crazy, but its a far cry from the 5-10 times you can proc it with Un'Goro Pack or Lyra the Sunshard.
You could also change the cost of the DK to 9 or 10 mana but that won't fix the fact that its still more powerful than any other DK with Raza the Chained.
This post is predicated on a faulty premise--namely, that Highlander Priest (or whatever you want to call it) is oppressive and needs to be fixed.
OMFG This is the point I am trying to make. Highlander Priest is strong indeed. But look at Jade Druid last patch, that was BROKEN. It was all over Ladder like literally all I seen was Druid, Druid, Druid. Even Tempo Storm made a new Tier for it.
Priest right now is fine. It isn't over-represented like Jade Druid was, it HAS COUNTERS unlike Jade Druid last patch. TEMPO ROGUE, EXODIA MAGE, MILL WARLOCK, EVOLVE SHAMAN(With a decent draw that is) all counter Priest effectively.
Priest is not overpowered, it is strong for sure, but their are plenty ways to beat it.
Raza: Your hero power costs (0) the first time you use it each turn.
done.
I might be a piece of shit for saying this but if this happened I would be really upset because machine-gun priest is so fun

Why?
Priest machine gun is similar to Exodia Mage, which still exists, except that it does cost mana to play each card and you have finite cards.
Voidform: Deal 2 damage. After you play a minion, refresh this.

The problem with priest is, that its extremly unfun to play against it.
The complete deck consists of ways to kill your board, card draw and highlander legendaries.
The absurd amount of boardclears and single removal results in a one way play. I believe Kripp was it, who titled it Single player.
So vs priest you play ur stuff and dont interact with your opponent at all. If he has the clear, you lose not, you might win.
I mean, comon... 67.3% winrate for Hunterace in 156 games to legend is absurd! (https://gyazo.com/65fcafd9d9b5257d66409b5c9b22b206)
