The new text will read: Choose one - Summon a Jade golem; or shuffle 3 two mana copies of this card into your deck.
Explanation [Please Read]
In agro matches, the card would most likely be played as is, to summon the 1/1 and 2/2 for 1 mana, which is inarguably healthy and balanced.
In control matches, if the Jade druid chooses to shuffle the 3 idols option, it will no longer be an almost guaranteed win. The main problem was that in slower matches, such as against a control deck, the tempo loss of doing nothing with 1 mana is almost completely insignificant, and the reward is flat out overpowered. With this change, the tempo loss for choosing the value root will be balanced with the value gained, and not completely irrelivent.
Almost what I imagined for Jade Idol to get a potential nerf, it's just the cost of copies gets increased by (1) each time you shuffle them, and the cost increase stacks.
In my idea the cost of summoning after the shuffles will remain at 2 mana. Making the idols cost more with every shuffle will make the shuffle option completely useless in any matchup.
But Jade Idol isn't that OP, the fact that Skulking Geist is not an auto win card proves that. I've won many games after being Geist'd.
Although the statistics of your matchups where you've been Geist'd aren't available (obviously), I just don't believe you. From my own experiece, whenever I Geist a jade druid (and I do that ALLOT because I add 2 copies to any deck I play), it's an almost auto win for me. The entire Jade druid deck is built around that single card, otherwise it just got a ton of card draw and limited value gain.
Maybe you won a few and you're using the word "many" in order to make a valid argument, but I simply don't believe that you've won more than 20% of that games where that happened. Unless you consider winning 0-20% of those games "many".

Because Geist isn't an effective counter. How can you say a card that generates maybe 100+ stat points in a single game, for nearly zero investment, not OP? Blizzard designed it to be a control killer, that's what it is, and it sucks.

I hate control .
And many people agree with me .
If you like control that's fine, but blizzard designs cards for everyone . Jade Idol was designed for people like me . It's ok if you don't like it . Some people do. But the fact is the card alone is not overpowered in any way .
Also, why would increasing the mana cost of the copies even help? The power of the card is in the late-game, when it's roughly as easy to pay 1 mana and 2 mana.

Exactly. Just to make sure people understand, he's replying to the quote above this one, not the OP suggestion. :p
A flat cost at (2) would be better and yet fully balanced.
Yet i think the problem is how easily Jade decks can also include the new cheap early taunts and survive Midrange and even Aggro.
You mean my suggestion is overcomplicated? It just adds two words to the text, no one would ever realistically find it complicated lol. Making the cost of the spell itself (2) would make it completely useless and too weak. It would be instant loss against agro. Not auctioneer draw combo at all, no fandral at turn 4 or 5 with it. Making it 2 mana flat would utterly destroy it.

Ehh.. I'd prefer removing the shuffle option altogether. How about summon a jade golem or deal two damage?
Fuck cubelock
