Definitely. He is Ironbark Protector with amazing effect. Even if it gets removed in 1 turn, still it's super good. But in Hunter? No. don't play him in hunter. You should be looking to end the game by turn 9-10.
He is played less and less on ladder, he is getting removed super easily and I feel the meta will grow faster & faster making this card too slow to play. It's still a good card, you can craft it if you like it, but it's not a tier 1 card.
Also, let me just point out that people who are saying the card will get worse when the meta goes faster are way over their heads.
LK is exactly the sort of late game card you want to be playing in a diverse meta(maybe not in an all-out aggro meta, but certainly in one that features decks of all sorts). Right now, cards like ultimate infestation are better, because they give you more value against slower decks, and are hence better to play than LK against super slow decks. But once you need a card that is at least alright against aggro(due to the taunt effect), and still good to play vs control, LK will be a by far better card and you will certainly cut a lot of things before you consider cutting him.
You probably allready made up your mind but you really shouldn't craft him if it is only for hunter. If you play him in a DK-Rexxar deck he is to cluncky anyway, you allready get enough high-value cards from your hero power -> even Call of The Wild wouldn't be good in such a deck. If you are a "classic" midrange hunter deck you just don't need the Lich King. Yes the, in other decks usually bad, Army of the Dead card could win you the game but why would you run any cards which are more expensive than Savanna Highmane? If you need a stabilizing card in round 8 as a hunter midrange deck you usually have allready lost. Call of the Wild is another thing.. This card can be used as an okay finisher or to make the board super strong. The Lich King just doesn't do this for hunter.
If you want to use him for other classes too: Yes craft him if you want. This card is quite good in some decks but be aware that he isn't essential for any deck and there might be some more crucial legendaries out there for you. (some which enable certain archetypes)

Who can take your trash out? Stomp it down for you? Shake the plastic bag and do the twisty thingy, too?
Question above: In my Hunter deck i used Call of the Wild instead of him.
Thanks for all answers!
Dr 8 is good in almost any deck.
He was my first craft of this expansion and works in literally any deck so you can't go wrong

Check out my entry for this week's Card Design Competition. Vote for it if you like it.
It's a good card, but definitely not essential and can be replaced. I think it's slightly overrated, tbh
It's cool to have him in the collection. Never bad in a Midrange or Control deck.
But also rarely necessary in any deck. Definitely replaceable.
It's so good that i opened one but dusted to craft a golden one.

It's worth crafting, but not a must craft by any means.
Probably the best pick if you don't know what class you want to play, if you have a lot of dust, or not a lot else to craft.

Thanks a lot. Like your answer! ;D

Yes, especially if you have a limited card pool. Putting him in your deck will generally up your win percentage much like the old Ragnaros.

If you are playing hunter, arfus will probably be more fun with all of the deathrattle trigger cards.
