We take out Innervate, them the next expansion we get another card for ramp that cos 6 or 7 mana probably a minion with ok/bad stats, them druid will be able to play ult early than turn 8. People will complain why the ramp class could play a turn 10 card early than turn 9. Playing the strong cards early and them refill your hand in some point of the game is all what ramp matters.
I just will point that some of the druid cards are design for being bad to play in the normal turn that you can play that card. Like Cenarius for example. Turn 9 empty board is like the worst late game legendary that you can play. Ancient was nerfed for being bad to play on turn 7 (and for that no one play that card) but still is strong in turn 5 or early. The 8/8 generic taunt? same. And that is just for the classic. In other expansions happens the same with other cards. Take innervate is a big nerf to the class, is necesary? probably. But again, in ramp matters expansion is normal for Druid be the strongest class. And KotFT is all about get the late game
That's literally the same for any class you play though? Priest always plays northshire, pain, death. Shaman plays hex, lightning storm, etc. Hunter plays kill command and beast companion. Rogue plays prep, the combo card for 4 damage, 0 mana deal 2 damage. Mage plays the same board clears and secrets in every deck. Every class has staple cards so I don't understand why druid is under such scrutiny for it when theirs aren't even as good as other classes.
I'd say give Jade Druid a time to shine: it was a mediocre deck when it first came out and now it is the sole bannerman of the failed tri-class cards.
YEA! WARRIOR WAS IN META FOR LONG TIME LETS DELETE HIM! thats the worst logic i've ever heard... Druid was in meta always, sometimes tier 1 and sometimes tier2 but he never was dead class. Its not Jade Life Matters but All Classes Life matters.
I was referring specifically to Jade Druid
Druid was pretty much dead between MSOG and UnGoro, thanks to all those Reno decks, complaints against which rained upon us like an indian monsoon

Can we also move Frost Nova, Equality and Brawl to the Hall of Fame as well?
What about Frostbolt and Fireball too?!?! They killed some of my minions during a game!!! I DEMAND their removal from Standard, because the spells are soo OP and broken! My mommy told me so, and now I post on the internet complaining :)
Been saying the card is broken for years now, since combo druid days. But only now people start to understand how broken it is, it is sad.
Maybe cause isnt broken but a win condition? the only win condition in the classic set of druid? the only win condition that not rotates ? like "ice block is a broken card cause give mage too much extra chances"
Innervate problem? tempo win cards like ultimate infest. But normally is you go turn 1 fandral and win the game...is that bad? i mean, that will cost you a lot of cards in hand and you will not able to ramp early into ultimate infest. You should win the game if a card cost you 2-3 cards of your hand. Same is for put a 8/8 taunt on turn 3 and that stuff. Come on, this game punish ramp for go into greedy stuff early cause turn 4 heavy removal destroy all you tempo. Druid is now strong? yes, maybe too strong but in fact people complain about innervate is stupid. YES probably thecard deserves hall of fame but that is JUST for ultimate infestation, shut up already all we know that the classic card set of Druid sucks a lot without the combo and the 7 mana 5/5 draw 2. Druid is the only class that lose not one but 2 base cards from his classic collection. Now they will lose another just because good ramp is too good for Hearth Stone. This will song like chill but: Maybe Druid class just not fix in HearthStone as a strong class. Cause everytime this class get a 1 tier deck the class get a nerf...just saying.
As others have pointed out, Innervate is not the problem. It is only in this current meta it has become an auto-include. After the next rotation, it will likely go back down on the list.
Innervate is fine. The only time I have a problem with it is when I face turn 1 Fledgling, and that's because Fledgling is the problem, not Innervate (see arena, or an unanswered Fledgling in general).
Hearthstone is so full of whiners. Every game/format has a best deck, deal with it or go home. Or go play Wild, since it's the better format anyway.
I'm doing reasonably well against Druid with Rogue/Warlock lists, though I'm doing badly with Hunter, but that's because Hunter sucks. 85 more wins and I have a reason to stop playing it though. :)
Nice to see so much discussion, I love to read your thoughts :)
As for my own little experience, I play at rank 1 atm. I don't know the exact statistics, as I don't have a deck recorder, because I play on Mac, lol. But I think I play vs about 60% druids or something close to that. I still think, that innervate is the problem. I have a few examples. I will take some good exampels from every good druid deck.
Token druid. The turn 1 fledgling play. When I finally got rid of it on turn 5 (when I was at about 10 hp), he drop down an bittertide. I spent all my resources on that 3 drop, and are completely screwed. That is not a healthy situation, that I think happens waaaay too frequent.
Midrange/taunt Druid. He didn't really do anything else than hero power a bit and wrath, I actually thought that I was vs a ramp druid with a terrible hand. When we hit turn 5, I had about 4 minions on board, and really thought I had the game. Then he played the spreading plaque, innervate innervate the "give taunts 2/2" and coin mark of the motus. I lost the turn after.
Jade druid Think most of us tried this. Innervate Jade blossom, into jade blossom, into nourish, nourish and UI turn 4/5. That is absurd.
I hope Blizz come up with a fix, cuz the state now is not healthy. I don't think it's a solid solution, just to get people to play pirate warrior, cuz that is the best counter, cuz it's really not a nice deck to see rule the ladder.

My brother and I both got legend - and he climbed to 316 with it. Check out our guide!
Yeah! Innervate is to powerfull on this meta, but .. Ultimate Infestation needs a huge nerf! compared to other smililars card draw cards like Sprint 7 mana draw 4 and do nothing (yeah i know rogues can 'ramp' with prep but it still ok since it only draw cards...) and Ancient of Lore 7 mana Draw 1 and summon a 5/5.... if we combine both cards we will need 14 mana and we still missing 5 dmg and 5 armor to match a 10 mana UI... this card doesnt make sense IMO ...
Innervate needs to be addressed because of all the good ramp options now. When you see a druid play a 10 drop on turn 4 it's just insanity. Skulking could also use a mana cost reduction down to 5. Even with these changes druid would still be insane, it really shows the power of their current state.
Innervate doesn't need a change. Period.
Vote for my Card Design Submission! I love this one!
innervate is boring but it is far from being core of the problem right now.

For those who think Innervate is ok: well, turn one Fandral is GG and with Innervate it's possible without problem.

how about all classic cards go to hall of fame?
I don't think it should leave standard even gadgetzan auctioneer
standard ppl treat wild like a trash whenever they don't like a card just complaining about it and they say it should go to wild
please stop rekting this good game
Nice

innervate is fine, people are crying the voice of the noodle without having an Individual opinion themselves
yes innervate is fine, if anything its the other cards that innervate is used with like fledling that is the problem
