I don't know if needs to leave Standard but as it stands right now, it definitely is a catalyst for a mountain of problems. I liked one person's idea where Innervate is changed to say "Replenishes two mana." You can still pull off combos with it, but it will no longer provide an opportunity for the double-drop 5-mana on turn 1, turn 5 Ultimate Infestation or similar absurd plays.
Maybe that's too much *shrugs* Regardless, the dominance of Druid across the entire swath of the game is frustrating. I'm not even high up in Ranked, but I still see it everywhere.
Then it would be unplayable, the reason Innervate is so strong is because you can play powerful cards before your opponent even has enough mana to answer them. Losing to Vicious Fledgling turn 1 is always fun.

I'm confused by your post, because you believe the nerf is too much but also remark on how BS the card can be. There's has to be a middle-ground we can find :/
We could shove it into the Hall of Fame - unprecedented, for a Basic card - but that just means it'll continue to terrorize Wild. Existing in its current form is unhealthy, for the game now and for the Druid going forward.
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!

Your innervate proposal is actually cool. It would be more like rogue's Preparation. But it would stop being a ramp card.
As for infestation, i am not sure.
The real problem with current Jade Druid is how well it answers to Control (as always) and now even Aggro (with cheap taunts that delay the game)!
If it was vulnerable to Aggro as it was in Gadgetzan, it would stay a fair T3 to keep greedy decks in check, but being in turn kept in check by many other decks.

Beside, I think innervate is fine as is, it just that ultimate infestation is so strong in ramp druid (giving too much value) for only 10 mana
Even not in druid, it is still a strong spell, putting it in druid is just too much (best thing maybe nerf it like what tomasz said
Innervate, however, is indeed a problem both for the gameplay as well as design space. I bet without a doubt that there are some cards that were scrapped because Innervate exists. The elegant design of making it read and do "Refresh 2 of your Mana Crystals" is very good.

Yes, i know, but i think this change could nerf them for a bit. Once they run out of a fuel, they can easily refill their hand, gain armor, clear enemy minion and summon 5/5 minion. This is just crazily OP! Nerfing Ultimate Infestation could give small chance to control decks, because they could "outvalue" jadez.
This guy was spamming emotes the entire game and after I added him to ask why, he tells me I need to "learn to play". I've played for over 2 years, I've said nothing about patron warrior, I said nothing during the Shaman age and I said nothing about pirate warrior. What really irritates me is that most people think nothing of it, just that they outplayed their opponent without considering how broken their synergy is, in truth why would he care? If you're playing Druid the only other class out there with the same power level as you is another Druid and since ladder is mostly made up of them, in his eyes he's just a better player than the majority of the Non-Druid player base.
After a game like this you can't help but feel cheated, the likelihood is you're not going to have an answer to the threats played. Hearthstone is balanced around the fact that you should be able to remove a 2 cost minion on turn 2 and a 3 cost minion on turn 3 etc. Shaman can play a 4 7/7 yes, but there is a drawback in doing so (The turn after will be slower) and in reality it's a 6 mana 7/7, druid on the other hand has 0 drawbacks and instead leaves the opponent in an uphill battle for the rest of the game.
Obviously ramp is the "soul" of druid but Innervate allows for ramp and major threats to be used even earlier, making it extremely powerful. Now that Blizzard wants to introduce stronger late game threats such as Infestation, The Lich King and the inevitability of Death Knights, it means that Innervate will become stronger and stronger. Of course the game I played was the worst case scenario, but the synergy of ramp and Innervate will continue to plague the standard format unless something changes.
Sorry to include the parts about me being f#cked over personally but hopefully you can understand I included it for some context and as an example. This video by Reynad should help to further my point, but let me know what you think and if I'm just being salty or whether you agree.
i play druid a lot and never got that, you can do the same retarded calcul with every card and claim it is powerful

This would act as a buff, because it negates the only potential downside to the card (overdraw).
Ultimate Infestation should cost 11 and include new text: "Costs (1) less for each Innervate played this turn."
Innervate is such a problematic card right now, because it can be used in the "god draws" to play Ultimate Infestation early as well as to tempo out very powerful cards in the early game.
If It was required to play Innervate and Ultimate Infestation together, some of the early ramping would be minimized. (Or, at the very least, the Druid might have to think about what he's doing before he just knee-jerks out an Innervate.)

Hmm? They said "then [Innvervate] would be unplayable", but followed with an example of how of why it's too good. My reply remarks on this disconnect.

No, that would in no way act as a buff. What the actual fuck, overdrawing isn't a big dealat all, the reason the card is so strong is because of the insane card draw. First of all, it is very easy as a druid to slam a few cards and set up for Ultimate Infestation to make sure you don't overdraw. Second: even if you do overdraw it is not a big deal at all, you will at most lose 1-2 cards, losing 2 cards is not bad considering you cleared a minion, summoned a 5/5, gained 5 armor + all the other cards you drew that you didn't discard. You will probaly only find yourself overdrawing against Aggro because you have to clear a minion or gain 5 armor otherwise you'll die, but then overdrawing matters even less.
It is only against control that overdrawing matters somewhat since you risk burning a Jade Behemoth or something of equal importance, but since you're against control you already have enough time to empty your hand before playing Ultimate Infestation. Setting the draw to 3 instead of 5 would be a huge nerf.
I saw someone once saying that Innervate should cost 5-mana and says "Gain 7 mana crystals this turn only" or something like that. I think would be decent this way, since would prevent many shit from happening so soon, but idk.

You know Druids receive no love when there are Recycle and Entomb.
I'd say give Jade Druid a time to shine: it was a mediocre deck when it first came out and now it is the sole bannerman of the failed tri-class cards.
YEA! WARRIOR WAS IN META FOR LONG TIME LETS DELETE HIM! thats the worst logic i've ever heard... Druid was in meta always, sometimes tier 1 and sometimes tier2 but he never was dead class. Its not Jade Life Matters but All Classes Life matters.

Ultimate Infestation should draw 3
Spreading Plague should cost 6
Innervate should be moved to Hall of Fame.
I personally find Ultimate Infestation to be fine. Yes, it is extremely potent, however most 10-mana cards are insanely powerful such as Deathwing, Dragonlord or C'Thun.
Innervate, however, is indeed a problem both for the gameplay as well as design space. I bet without a doubt that there are some cards that were scrapped because Innervate exists. The elegant design of making it read and do "Refresh 2 of your Mana Crystals" is very good.

I never said it was a big deal. I said it was the only potential downside.
Jade Druid plays 2 Ultimate Infestation for consistency. The 2nd one is often a dead draw -- especially if it's drawn from the 1st.
Reducing the draw to 3 might be a small nerf to the 1st, but it would definitely act as a buff to the 2nd.

chill guys, Blizzard will nerf those cards in 6 months!
