So Reynad made a video, where he talks about the subjekt, and I think there is a lot of truth to it. I play at rank 2 right now, and you basically only see druids. Most of them is token druids, that kinda roll you over with Dr. 3, if they happens to have him in their starting hand. But also midrange druid, and jade druid can get extremely strong cards out early, that are impossible to deal with, if you don't got a tech card in hand right now. I think you should watch the video, and let me hear what you think :)

My brother and I both got legend - and he climbed to 316 with it. Check out our guide!
Fiery War axe, wrath, Preperation, Iceblock, classic set is badly balanced and needs a rework. But that is nothing new.
The question is, were youll stop nerf-cycle or hall of fame soft banning.
The thing is reynad says standard is revolving around 1 deck atm. and that is a problem. But there will always be a best deck meta will evolve around.
Its not like you remove inervate, druid might become less popular but after that maybe evolve shaman will arise and screw everything over dominating meta.
The problem is that they gave them consistent draw that super incentivizes ramp. They nerfed the Ancient of Lore wayyyy back because it had the same problem but they assumed that a card costing 10 would be enough to make it hard to play but nope, it just means that druid can throttle up their ramp harder.
Is Innervate healthy? No not really but druid wasn't broken broken until the new cards from Frozen Throne so.... I kind of feel like the issue is probably more likely in the balance of the new cards they made. At the end of last season we mostly just saw the swarm druid but even that wasn't unbeatable.
If Innervate got cycled I think it would be ok but honestly, I don't think it solves the current issue we are having.
Honestly, Innervate shouldn't even exist. Compare it to Magic's Black Lotus, which is the most powerful card in Magic and has been banned since forever, Innervate is 2/3s of that and is exclusively to Druid. It's seen play in EVERY SINGLE Druid deck since the game first came out. The card has to go.
only if we remove other "key-cards" from every other class at the same time.
Ice block/Archmage Antonidas/sorcerer's apprentice for Mages, Tirion Fordring and blessing of Kings for Paladin, Soulfire/Jaraxxus for Warlock, Gadgetzan Auctioneer for everybody, Backstab and Edwin Vancleef for Rogue, just to name a few! Hell, why stop there! Lets just remove the classes all together while we're at it!!
i still think before half of faming ANYthing we have to nerf charge first, i know it's not a problem now, but charge has caused so many problems and nerfs that it's better to nerf charge first and balance the game later
Kinda yes. I don't think the sole problem lies with innervate. Druid has so many tools to ramp out and they can do so with little punishment thanks to cards like Spreading Plague and Ultimate Infestation. The first one solves any form of aggro while the scarabs having 5 health is barely even clearable. The latter is the real problem though. It makes every form of druid good no matter what. You can spend all your cards early on to ramp up and then use infestation to return to value instantly.
Lastly, all these cards simply make jade druid too insanely good. Originally they were weak to aggro but now they can effectively deal with it. Not to mention infestation allows you to play rushy and reload on idols with little to no problem. And due to the nature of idol, infestation will basically never mill you.
I think innervate simply adds to the powerhouse of cards druid has recieved, but aside from its movement to hall of fame, I think infestation needs a very very serious re-evaluation. And jade druid cards need a looking into as well.
Why not remove the basic and classic set altogether. It would be a fresh game every rotation and blizzard would to forced to print a majority of good cards instead of having so many garbage filler cards in each set.
Yeah innervate should be remove. give empty mana crystal is ok, in game like magic gathering its like find land in deck and put tap in play. So the land can be played in the next turn.
But give 2 MANA FREE with 0 COST is broken. it can be played in turn 1. Innervate should be remove or just nerf like give it cost. something like -> 5 mana cost: "give 7 mana this turn only". but naah, I think it's must be remove from meta
Every expansion angry little kids are complaining about new tier 1 decks and demanding their nerf, rotating classic and - lol - basic cards, etc. Nothing new in this world, kids will grow up someday and get some brain into their heads, at least i hope they will.

You are an idiot.
Yes, Innervate needs to go to the Hall of Fame and here is why; no other card in any class impacts balance issues the way Innervate does.
People think Preparation is broken, but that card is only in the Rogue class and there aren't any neutral spells to be balanced around it. It doesn't affect what other classes can have or what neutral minions Blizzard can print.
Innervate does. It's not a problem card simply because it's in every Druid deck. It's a problem because every expansion has to be balanced around Druid's ability to Innervate out neutral minions. Just look at Vicious Fledgling, it's a mediocre minion overall but Innervate makes it dangerous to print. Just imagine what other neutral minions Blizzard has overcosted or understatted because they don't want Druid Innervating it out turn 1 or 2 before the opponent can even deal with.
Even compared to a card like Edwin Vancleef, Innervate is more dangerous. A rogue can only run one Edwin Vancleef in a deck, it's weak to silence as well and requires the rogue to often make inefficient plays to cheat him out. Druid on the other hand? Turn three Innervate Bittertide Hydra, or turn 2 Innervate, coin. It can't be silenced, a Druid can run 2 Bittertides, which means this can happen way more frequently than the Edwin.
In every situation, Innervate is arguably the strongest card in Hearthstone. It's simply better than Rogue's preps and coin. It requires every neutral minion, now and forever to be balanced around it. It will always be problem. Whenever any good minion is printed, Druid will be there cheating it out.
Why not compare it with dark ritual? It's almost the same card.
Also, you can still play black lotus in the vintage format. I certainly do :)
Oh yeah, forgot about Dark Ritual lol. Well even then, it's kinda hard to compare cause Dark Ritual has a color restriction of black mana only, while Innervate can be used for anything since Hearthstone doesn't have colored mana.
I would love to see it HoF'd, but if they do could we PLEASE get my favorite two cards (Keeper of the Grove and Ancient of Lore) back the way they were?
I don't know if needs to leave Standard but as it stands right now, it definitely is a catalyst for a mountain of problems. I liked one person's idea where Innervate is changed to say "Replenishes two mana." You can still pull off combos with it, but it will no longer provide an opportunity for the double-drop 5-mana on turn 1, turn 5 Ultimate Infestation or similar absurd plays.
Maybe that's too much *shrugs* Regardless, the dominance of Druid across the entire swath of the game is frustrating. I'm not even high up in Ranked, but I still see it everywhere.
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3

This card was no problem for 3 and now it is one?
Better think about ultimate investation!if druid is a problem for raynard he should start playing paladin which is pretty devastating right now

Innervate is ok, btw.
I totally agree with this. In an interview Ben Brode himself stated that Innervate is one of the biggest restrictions to game design in Hearthstone.
On the third day before Witchwood, Blizzard gave to me,
three Handlock decks,
two Molten Giants
and a winstreak to Legend Rank #3

Been saying the card is broken for years now, since combo druid days. But only now people start to understand how broken it is, it is sad.
the issue aren't the cards individually, is the synergy. druid have cards that ramp up mana and jade (all in a single card).
skulking geist was a bad, even, a negligence solution to the problem.
with token, you are screwed if they don't touch vicious fledgling and the cheap, very cheap druid buffs
I would love to see it HoF'd, but if they do could we PLEASE get my favorite two cards (Keeper of the Grove and Ancient of Lore) back the way they were?
Why dd you add him? To ask why he emoted?

Innervate should simply be changed to refresh 2 mana crystals.
