it doesn´t really do anything special except just making a bunch of value its pretty fair for a 10 mana card
This card gives you the equivalent of 17.5 freaking mana value in just 10 mana. Tell me it's fair
Blizzard insist on keeping printing broken value cards, because if it cost 10 mana it must be balanced, right? I think the earliest I had someone do this to me was on my turn 5, I see people running 2 makes me die a little inside each time, and I can't play Skulking Geist because it does not fit my deck, Im behind already playing this thing that does nothing to the board is suicide and I also run 1 cost spells of my own!
I think even if it weren't for the existence of Kazakus, this card would be a bit OP. But given that it does exist, that makes this card seem even more OP, considering the former requires no duplicates, and can result in a poor spell.
Plus, this spell does three things, whereas Kazakus, even as a high roll, does two. I am surprised there isn't sort sort of pseudo drawback like Mulch. Even that would balance it out a bit.
All you fools saying this isn't broken because it's a turn 10 card, smh. I've had this bastard played on me on the games "Turn 5." He had burned several cards ramping and was at 7 mana, then coined and innervated and killed my thing from below, gained 5 armor, put a stout minion on the board and replenished his hand.
Using an incredibly unlikely scenario is not an argument. On top of that, you play "Thing from below" and complain about something else being broken. Nothing like a potentially 0 cost 5/5 taunt.
Maybe they can take away the armor gain, perhaps? That way they force the player to think twice about just casting it when reaching 10 mana.
The way I see it, I think the card is such a no-brainer. You are behind, you cast it; you are ahead, you cast it; you are even; you cast it. Taking away the armor gain, while seems to have the least impact, will force the player to stabilize before casting this. Spending 10 mana just to kill an opposing minion and putting a minion that doesn't have taunt into play will not be enough if you are behind. Drawing 5 cards... ugh, that's painful too.
But then, my Exodia Mage says hi. Do your worst, Malfurion!

If Call of the Wild can get nerfed, this card can get nerfed as well. They will leave the 5/5 Ghoul, 5 Damage & 5 Armor as is but heavily reduce the draw count. Most likely from 5 to 3 or 2. That would be an ideal change to make it more of a fair card.

Call of the wild was busted because you get a 2/4 that buffs your minions, a 5/2 with charge, and a 4/3 with taunt. So much board presence. Infestation gives you a vanilla 5/5 on the board. The card draw is the real reason people play it. Drop that and it would just be another unplayable druid card.
In many cases, drawing only 3 would make Ultimate Infestation even better, because there are many times when 5 cards drawn results in a self-mill. Drawing only 3 would make it more playable without that potential downside.
I like the idea of it costing 11 and summoning only a 4/4. This ensures any deck running it must save The Coin or an Innervate to play it. (The Druid player might have to actually think about if/when to use the Coin or Innervate in the early turns.)

The only issue with this is that Innervate doesn't let you go above ten Mana. Which would mean the only time Druid could play Infestation would be if they go second. And that wouldn't be fair, as much as I hate the card.

Oh Sh*t; you're right. "Costs one less for each Innervate you've played this turn." (or something to that effect)
You know I get it, but that's what a 10 cost card is supposed to be like, it's like Bonemare, the thing is great at 7 mana, they are finally finding the spot where high-cost cards are playable and that's great, sure, Druid get's a good one that goes into a deck that is already great, but if we keep getting good high-cost cards that are worth playing then its by all means ok.

This card has downside fatigue. if your deck just 5 cards remaining, this gonna be dead card. the card is just the power of druid. just like Defile in warlock and Eternal Servitude in priest. Jade Idol more broken imo

The thing is Druid already has too much card draw as it is. Most even ran auctioneer as an extra draw engine. It was the one class that did NOT need it. So the fact that the class can refill their hand with 5 cards from a single card is a legitimate complaint that will most likely be addressed at some point. Knowing Team 5 though, we'll be waiting until October for a potential nerf lol. The amount of Jade/Control Druid decks being ran in the top 100 legend ranks (NA) is a sign that there's a problem.

Auctioneer is arguably better. If you play auctioneer it's easy to draw more than 5 cards and on top of that you get a 4/4 soft taunt. Infestation is just nice because you get it in one card. And seriously, I can't believe people haven't figured out that druid is top dog right now because it's using decks refined over 2 expansions vs slow greedy decks that have been made 4 days ago. Seriously people it's a no brainer.
It's not that people did not know, it's more of people getting a feel for all of the new cards before the meta takes shape. Jade Druid was already really good. The addition of the DK & Ultimate infestation makes it flat out insane now. Those are the two main cards that I have seen be added to Jade Druid decks. I do not play Druid so I am not sure what got cut. I've also seen a few run Lich King as well but not all Jade Druid players are running it.

Naw, auctioneer is not better. With inf you're free to use any piece at any time.
Plus it does direct damage (rarity for druid), heals you and gives you board presence.

TFB costs at least 6 mana. Always. Whether spread over a number of turns or paid in full. There is literally no comparison and no complaint to be made about that card.

If you're playing Jade Druid and you have 5 cards left in your deck, then (if you played it right) it has at least 1 Jade Idol in the deck. So this is now the best possible outcome for you. I don't think you seem to realise how the Jade deck works... you literally can't fatigue to death with Jade Idol unless you messed up somewhere...

"Nerf Paper," said Rock.
It would be funny if they decided to "buff" it so that it now draws 15 cards instead of 5.
