howdy, just wanted to know your feelings about some of the cards that already surprised/disappointed you in playtesting and other observations you've found out
biggest letdowns so far: Wicked Skeleton (had higher expectations, it's just "okay"), Ice Walker (never seems truly relevant), Spreading Plague (just really akward to use, couldn't get it to work)
For me personally I'm shocked at the power level of jade druid, but very happy to see warlock in the meta as I feel that they have the best chance, aside from aggro and quest mage, from keeping druid down without the need to tech Skulking Geists in. Furthermore I think paladin is in an exceptional spot and may become the most varied class with the potential of a viable midrange, aggro and control deck.
Also as a little aside, I haven't played any druid but in my matches spreading plague has been a really strong play against me, and although sometimes clunky it forces your opponent to react
Tainted Zealot is better than expected so is Despicable Dreadlord. Bloodreaver guldan too. Others cards that got underrated are better than expected too. We shall discover more with play testing
Tainted Zealot and Defile = 4 mana 5 Dmg Aoe. Got me to working on a control lock since Drain Soul also benefits greatly from spell power.
Also having a lot of fun with Hand Buff Palidan. Saronite Chain Gang and Corpsetaker made it way better and Uther of the Ebon Blade is such a rediculously strong finisher. Been running the new 1 mana murloc card with lifesteal in the deck too since it makes Corpsetaker more reliable and can be very strong with hand buffs. If my opponents ever leave one alive it quickly brings me back to full health.
(edit) also have Skulking Geist in the Hand Buff deck right now for giggles. Had a Jade Druid experience fatigue; he seemed unhappy.
Tainted Zealot is pretty awesome indeed, almost keeps me wondering if thalnos is even that much better, i rather potentially stick this little guy around a turn longer, i guess that's preference :)
I hardly play any games ofer turn 5 with insane win ratios. Corpsetaker buffed with kings is just unbeatable since this deck almost always has board post turn 4.
I feel realy dirty for this

biggest surprises so far: Necrotic Geist (almost infinite value, like a mini kelthuzad if you can protect it), Bloodreaver Gul'dan (just insane if you can get stabilised), Bloodworm (pretty decent ^^), Cobalt Scalebane (really like it, even in nondragon decks), Deathspeaker (pretty good), Stitched Tracker (love it), Shadow Ascendant (potentially really fast snowball)

The new Mage DK is scary good.

I grossly underestimated Frost Lich Jaina...found her in a pack, tried out with Kazakus, was surprised to win games so easily.
First impression is Corpsetaker is way to broken and should get a nerf asap imo.
atm i play this
