Righteous Protector is the most likely to actually see play out of this list. And I rate that as very, very likely to see play. Blood Razor also has too many synergies for me to not see play. Though I could be wrong on that one. I also see "slightly improved 3/2 weapon" as a bit of an understatement.
So your name means that we should Assume you are a noob by how bad your opinions are?
Like this post and your other overlooked card post is just idiotic. This dude thinks murloc shaman is some kind of meta deck. I would trust a legend player over someone who doesn't even understand the current meta. Half of the cards you listed, yah nobody thinks they are good.
"Hey guys, let me point out cards everyone thinks is bad and tell them how overhyped they are"
This could almost qualify as a troll post, which you're good at based on your history.
Being legendary doesn't necessarily mean you're even good at the game... However stancifka is a rather famous pro player, gosugamers have him as rank #3 in world atm (he once was rank #1). He's one of the few that could show up to a big event with something very unique and make it work.
Overall one of the most impactful hearthstone players due to solid performance in tournaments rather than being a twitch warrior (he do eat a lot of bananas tho), also think he was pretty decent at magic the gathering.
As a thinking theorycrafter, he makes his own judgement, he is sometimes wrong and corrects wrong plays very fast. While I cricticize heavily his list, I am absolutely sure he is an insightfull guy and a better player than I am. But IMHO the way he can make a very good "something unique" deck is after testing 10 "something uniques", being wrong 8 times and improving one of the two remaining"rogue deck options"
I think he is right with Garrosh. Having two completely different hero powers in one game is a problem for control warrior. Those who played quest warrior surely remember that they lost many games just because they switched their armor hero power to 8 rng dmg one. Also one of warriors best removals becomes a dead card without armor.
I would agree, I would guess he's better for some sort of combo deck. You will basically be able to have infinite Arcane giants.
Righteous Protector is the most likely to actually see play out of this list. And I rate that as very, very likely to see play. Blood Razor also has too many synergies for me to not see play. Though I could be wrong on that one. I also see "slightly improved 3/2 weapon" as a bit of an understatement.
Yes, I would agree with blood razor. Very likely to be seen in some sort of fast drawing combo deck.
First off, please understand that you don't understand what overhyped means (at least some of the cards in your list have been hyped only by small parts of the community). I will agree that half the cards in that list are not that great (not that I think a lot of people hyped them up). I am referring to the Princes, Arfus, Archbishop and Fallen Sun Cleric.
Righteous Protector + Corpsetaker are likely to be part of a strong Midrange Handbuff Paladin. On top of that the Righteous Protector will be run in all Aggro Paladin decks and I suspect quite a few Midrange Paladins who really on having stuff stick on the board.
Forge of Souls - You may even be right on this card at least for the short-term future. I don't know if Warrior's will be desperate enough to run this, but I can see a few applications already so I am not ready to say its bad yet and maybe you really want to run a lot of weapons and thin your deck in the future so it has potential to improve at least.
Blood Razor - Its laughable you think this is bad, since I would say its on Death's Bite's power level and could even be stronger in decks that care about damaging their minions. Will 100% see widespread play in Tempo / Control warrior.
Scourgelord Garrosh - I see a lot of fanboys of old-school Control Warriors think that no more Armor after some point late in the game = RIP Control Warrior, but in today's game you typically run proactive win conditions and while foregoing the ability to Armor Up! at some point in the game can consist a hit to your life total, the Weapon you get is insane at clearing minions (and thus saving up some Health/Armor you would lose otherwise) and let's not forget that Whirlwind on command is a very powerful effect in both Control and Tempo Warriors (I am including the Enrage Style Warrior archetype in this section ofc).
Ultimate Infestation - This card may seem too slow (a lot of value, too little board control for 10 mana), but I can 100% guarantee that even if its not insane in this expansion it will be a 2 off at some point while KFT is in Standard and that is when Team 5 provides enough support for Quest Druid to be strong (I am pretty sure they will support all quests at some point in time in the next 4 sets). In that deck this card will allow for insane swing turns post-reward that will make it very easy for Druid to create unanswerable boards. I also don't see the hype for this card in Jade Druid tbh, since skipping a turn doesn't seem that great as long as Gadgetzan Auctioneer is in Standard, but that may change as new sets come out.
You obviously disagree with some of my statements, but you can get back to me in 2 months time if I am wrong (on most, but the last card, Ultimate Infestation since the 4 next sets are to be expected in the course of a year and a half more or less). I am certain I am not wrong though so I won't be holding my breath.
Extra Edit: May I also add that I think your list is also an absolute pile of crap, though. I mean think about it, half of the cards aren't even overhyped and the other half are just as good as people think they are, so yeah.
Yeah definitely wrong about a lot of these. Corpsetaker will probably be in versions of paladin that run Wickerflame. I mean it's a 4 mana 3/3 wickerflame if you just put that in your deck and that definitely sees some play. Maybe not as much now with all the murlocs going on but it definitely is a powerful tool against aggro decks.
Ultimate Infestation is not an "overpowered 6 cost card". Are you seriously suggesting that drawing 5 cards is worth 6 mana? The value of draw 5 cards is a 9 mana card. A 5/5 and 5 damage is Firelands Portal so 7, and the 5 armor is worth 1. So that alone is like you playing Firelands Portal, Mega Sprint, and that shitty armor card from Un'goro in the same turn.. except it's even in the same card and only costs you 10 mana instead of 17-18. Firelands portal is pretty powerful and I expect this to be in some variation of the Big EZ druid" type of deck. Just ramp it out and play it on turn 6 or some shit with an innervate. Seems good to me.
The 1/1 divine shield and taunt is definitely going to be a lot more useful than you think and aggro paladin is already a thing. It's been a thing for a while, just focuses on murlocs right now. There was an aggro list in Whispers that ran a bunch of 1 health minions and Steward of Darkshire. Probably going to look more like that but with murlocs thrown in as well.
Nobody thinks Benedictus is going to be good for ladder. It might see play in the greediest priest control deck possible for tournaments if there is a prominence in the amount of control decks seen in that meta, but it probably won't see any play in ladder. Also why in the hell would you play this on curve? That's not how this minion works at all. The whole point of Benedictus is to play a deck without a real win condition in the long game. You construct your deck so that it's full of AoE, low cost minions, and aggro crushing tools so that you auto win every aggro matchup. You play this card to steal your control opponent's big minions that you don't include. It's more hit or miss than Entomb but it also gives you a body and nets you more cards in your deck. But the point is that you make a deck that is completely unwinnable against any decent control deck but crushes the fuck out of aggro everywhere and throw this card in to make your control matchups winnable.
You're high as fuck if you don't think Bloodrazor is good. It's 4 mana for an immediate swipe and a delayed swipe. This card is insane.
You're also high if you think Scourgelord Garrosh goes in the control warrior lists of old. The Scourgelord Garrosh deck will look extremely different than the old Justicar Golden Monkey decks. It will aim to be more aggressive for sure.
so blood razor is just good, it is 4 mana for a meh weapon, but 2 whirlwind effects. it basically deals with aggro and sets up for sleep with the fishes and excecute against control and midrange. righteous protector is overhyped, but still decent, and many decks will run it, maybe not top tier decks this meta, but the card is just worth more than it costs, and paladin can utilize it to be worth even more than it would be in any other class. Coprsetaker is not a 4 mana 3/3 that requires building a deck around it to be any good, it is a four mana 3/3 that has a deck built around it when you play paladin. It is decent with divine shield and taunt, which you have enough of both to be confident running this, and if you run lifesteal it gains that as well making it actually amazing. Essentially it requires no effort to make it a legendary level card, but a 2 of.
The rest of this list I agree with you, except as others have pointed out, half of these are not hyped at all. Please actually label your threads accurately, instead of click-baity without follow-through. I am fine with click-bait titles, it is the only way to get things looked at on the internet, but be genuine.
Now for some devils advocate on the cards that I think you under-rate but are still not great:
Benedictus, only good in priest with a huge amount of draw, that does not run a lot of other value. Essentially best in a burn priest, a deck I have been playing for fun, not gonna be good as a card and that deck is not even tier 4, but it has a single place. You basically get down to 5 or less cards, and instead of conceding since you are out of burn, you benedictus and go to 20 cards. then your whole deck is basically just the enemies control deck but with a different hero power.
Forge of souls, this is for all the weird weapon in hand destruction stuff, not intended for a serious warrior deck, but maybe someday that becomes good.
Valanar, not running four drops is not too hard. I don't know of many decks that will run this card, but I know that mill rogue would because another taunt plus healing and literally no downside because that deck runs no four drops in many variations is just good.
Keleseth, some decks play 2 one drops on turn 2 almost every game, like token druid. I am not sure this card is amazing in that deck considering what you would drop for it, but my point is some token decks or zoo-like decks could get away with playing this for little to no downside. not sure those decks will be any good but the card has a place and it is not an instant huge disadvantage that makes you struggle if you don't draw it by turn two. it is in fact still a significant advantage if drawn by turn 3. by turn 4 it is basically neutral, and by turn 6 or 7 it is worse than most other cards to draw it because it does not win the game then, it is just a meh stats minion. but in aggro you might be able to get away with that considering what patches is like.
Arfus, the card you get is insane, arfus himself sucks, merely a mediocre legendary. Not something you would run in constructed but it is not bad.
fallen sun cleric, it snowballs zoo and token decks, not a bad card, probably even good enough to see play. it is not just worse shattered sun, it is better. It has a better stats to mana ratio. 5 for 2 is better than 7 for 3 because if you do a stat per mana it is 2.5 versus 2.333... one of those is better. Plus the fact it dies to ping is not a big deal because rogue takes 2 when it pings this, druid takes 1 and wastes a turn, and mage beats whatever deck you would play this in anyway so consistently that trying to tech for that is dumb. in a token druid this can even be buffed after playing it and it will always hit a target. And drawing this late is literally no worse than drawing any other cheap minion late in token druid, it is terrible but not anything new, so replace a cheap minion with this and the deck gets better.
ultimate infestation, I am a strong proponent of this card being a one of at best in some druid decks. essentially I think this card is bad and refuse to speak good of it because I can;t think of anything redeeming.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
I respect your insight, but I'll snark at you being off topic (while not being wrong). My theorycraft was about metagame in 2 months. I am perfectly aware that most of the cards I disparage are perfectly honest value cards that don't fit in a competitive deck in the post KFT metagame.
Fireguard Destroyer is a perfect example of a very good card that never saw play due to not fitting on any competitive deck (old timers such as myself remember a long bygone era where shaman was a joke class in constructed). Righteous Protector is an obviously very storng card, but may fall to the trap of competing with paladin secrets and Lost in the Jungle for a slot in next expansion's competitive decks
Reading feedback on my thread, I agree that the synergy with the 3 mana Lifesteal-Taunt-Shield paladin Legend means I underestimated Corpsetaker
I also think that Corpsetaker is way overhyped. Some people seem to forget that cards which support her battlecry need to be in the deck when you play her, not at the start of the game. In most cases it will probably come to play simply as Taunt+Divine Shield which is ok but nothing spectacular.
Well think about this way. If you don't draw it before you have drawn every card in your deck that supports it, then its at the bottom of the deck, so it won't win you a fatigue game, that's for sure. If you have about 10 cards in the deck that support it, you can bet that it will get at least some of the keywords. In a Handbuff Midrange Paladin deck I think you can consistently get a 4 mana 5/5 Taunt + Divine Shield + Lifesteal minions and if you want you can even run the 1 mana 1/1 with windfury since it synergizes with Small-Time Recruits, which is very important if you want to get max. value from your Handbuffs.
With all due respect, you (the author of the thread) don't seem to have much knowledge of the game/meta. Firstly no one in their right mind is saying benedictus will be remotely playable. He is by no means overhyped. 2nd, the princess are crap and everyone knows that. There are people saying that valanar will be a staple in miracle rogue but they don't understand miracle rogue. When people say that rogue needs healing, it's not in reference to miracle rogue. Miracle rogues game plan is not surviving, it's killing you first. Rogue needs the heal for a potential control archtype. They have many many controling tools but struggle to stay in the game due to their lack of heal. If rogue would has viable healing they can have a great control deck, perhaps a jade variant. Thirdly, you are soo wrong about righteous protector. Paladin is one of the best classes from him mainly because the can leverage his power. I don't understand why you'd think paladin has no way to buff him. He's mainly good in paladin because he doesn't have to be a turn one play. He can be pair with steed on turn 7, and he can be paired with tarim on turn 7 for amazing value. You couldn't be more wrong about that.
Righteous Protector not sure how some People still doubt that this card is insane strong ... strong early Presence (trades with 1 Drops can be buffed to 3/3 with divine shield turn 2 or just trade into 2 drops with +1 attack from wolf... and lategame it blocks charge minions or other big stuff like Deathwing ... cant wait to see Vids of Players losing cuz they couldnt attack Face with Deathwing being blocked by a 1/1.
Every Zoolock played Voidwalker to protect important minions this is the Voidwalker of Paladin.
With all do respect. You have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to miracle rogue. It's not about surviving? What? The reason the deck is slipping from tier 2 to 3 at the moment is because it has no survivability.
And make no mistake. It is a control deck at the moment. It wants to control the board with vilespine, spells, giants, sherazin etc. It's not focused on killing the opponent first like you say. If it was, you would run double sap and coldblood instead of double vilespine.
The current miracle deck actually has a pathetic amount of burst damage. Valanar can offer not only lifesteal, but taunt as well and it fits into a very uncontested spot in the deck. Not every miracle deck wants to fight for board and revive sherazins with giants. Running a valanar in a deck that is trying to survive until Valeera the Hollow to unleash a 28 damage burst combo is much better than sherazin, xaril or anything else rogue is doing on 4.
Blood Razor : coolthings notwhitstanding, 4 mana for a slightly improved 3/2 weapon is overcosted. The card competes with Fiery War Axe and Gorehowl for a slot
It is impossible for a card to compete with other cards that cost half as much and nearly twice as much. OP is dumb.
Righteous Protector is the most likely to actually see play out of this list. And I rate that as very, very likely to see play. Blood Razor also has too many synergies for me to not see play. Though I could be wrong on that one. I also see "slightly improved 3/2 weapon" as a bit of an understatement.

These are not overhyped cards, not all of them are hyped what are you saying. No one hyped about Fallen Sun Cleric
Ultimate Infestation and Frost Lich Jaina got to be the most overhyped and overrated cards of the expansion by far.
