- Howlfiend will make Warlock Quest playable. You'll just put every discard card in your deck and don't care what you lose because the Quest is your win condition.
I had a question on this one. I would love for Questlock to become viable since I recently opened Lakkari Sacrifice, but can you complete your quest on your opponent's turn? Assuming you can, I think it would be dangerous to have Howlfiend still on the board, as your opponent could use it to try to make you discard your quest reward.
Fair point! I didn't think about that but I looked it up on the internet and yes, Quests do progress during the opponent's turn. So yes, it can be very risky to play a Howlfiend because the opponent can cause the reward to be discarded. Which douses my enthousiasm quite a bit :'(
However, if your progress is still low on the Quest, it can still be a powerful move because it leaves your opponent with a minion that's hard to remove and that makes the Quest progress at each attempt...
Good to know! It will be fun to try it out, regardless of whether it makes it competitive or not. Like you said, as long as you haven't discarded too much already, and your opponent doesn't have too many pings, it should help push things in the right direction as well as giving some good early board presence.
Thinking about it, I wish the quest included cards discarded from your deck. Then the quest would be easy to complete through things like Fel Reaver and Keening Banshee. Wouldn't that be nice!
Uther of the Ebon Blade is the most overrated DK. Not saying it's bad, but weapon removal will be all over the place after this expansion drops. Getting only one swing in with that weapon will not be worth it.
Frost Lich Jaina will fail Incredible long-term effect on the card, and it can really overwhelm your opponent if it goes off... BIG if. I just think that Mage will have 3 or 4 other decks that will have more success than the DK Elemental deck.
almost every game? i've played a good amount of jade druid against control pallys, freeze mages, etc. not many games go to fatigue. maybe against control warrior, but who the hell plays that in legend ranks except fibonacci.
what is a card you think is undervalued or overvalued by the comunity or just any unpopular opinion.
I think while everyone is talking about death knights and legendaries, Bonemare will be a 10/10 card that will take everyone by suprise as the next Doctor 7.
You say name something underrated or unpopular then go on to name one of the most widely recognized, obviously strong cards in the set.

Fun, but so risky.
You've discarded four cards, play Howlfiend. Opponent take him twice with small minions. Quest complete!
Opponent fires off a damage spell/hp ping/etc. Quest reward discarded. Oops.

Very risky, no doubt about it. But Warlock probably isn't a good class for risk adverse players, and definitely not the discardlock variety. However, there are ways to minimize the risk. If, for example, you were to play Howlfiend on turn three before discarding anything then there's no risk of discarding the quest reward. In fact, if all your opponent can do is ping your Howlfiend, he could potentially complete the quest for you all by himself. I'm not saying it's a great strategy, since the deck has heretofore been very uncompetitive, but I think it's at least worth testing.
Emerald Hive Queen will start to see play in a tier 3 deck or higher.
New tech cards to counter new expansion:
Silence
The Dark Knight
Defias Cleaner
Tainted Zealot will show in far more decks than people think.
Sorry, but face is NOT place :P
Claw Gnash Bite have enough redundancy now to create a Savagery deck
Check here for my new cards!Pokemon HS class! All the Pokemon as HS cards!
"Why, you never expected justice from a company, did you? They have neither a soul to lose nor a body to kick." -- Lady Saba Holland
Bloodmage Thalnos has far more potential this expansion, specially for Warlock with Defile and Drain Soul.
People will try Uther of the Ebon Blade OTKs very hard and won't get good results.
Yogg-Saron, Hope's End become much more fun lol.
The Lich King is meh... But everybody will have it.
Freeze Shaman will born but won't pass tier 2.
Bloodworm imo will have similar impact as Azure Drake.
Rattling Rascal + Treachery will be annoying.
Some DKs won't see competitive play but will perform better than Quests and Blizzard will make more Hero cards in the future (hope).
Spiritsinger Umbra will reach competitive play.
Drakkari Enchanter don't have the necessary impact to reach competitive (cannot be played along The Lich King or Ysera at the same turn).
Bonemare and Skelemancer will be a pai in midrange decks, Wreched Tiller, Acherus Veteran and Fallen Sun Cleric on aggro decks (they may even ressurect Zoolock).
Vryghoul will be strong on deathrattle decks.
By the way there are very few deathrattles cards I liked :(

Nerubian Unraveler will be better than people give it credit and Paladin Handbuff will become a very powerful deck.
