I like the mechanic, this card is could be better than it looks since some people (like me) hate giving the opponent ANY advantage, that's probably wrong most of the time but yeah sometimes this card will hit the face like 4 times cause your opponent didn't want to give you the 2/2. a 2/2 and 2 1/1s are quite similar in value, if warrior is everywhere a 2/2 is better than 2 1/1s also better against defile.
The tokens are guaranteed for Eggnapper while Vryghoul is not, so you have to take that gamble for what benefit??? Getting a 2/2 over 2 1/1??? It's not even a improvement in many cases.
actually, 2 1/1s are very much not the same as 1 2/2. Reason being hero powers. Hero powers are the most common removal and thus 1 health minions get a big hit from it. 2 2/2s versus a 4/4 is much more comparable. not the 1/1 to 2/2 comparison

It's a 3/1 your opponent doesn't want to kill. If they do, a 2/2 is a lot different than two 1/1s. honestly it depends on the deck which one is stronger, but overall I think the 2/2 is better.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
While a 2/2 is probably a bit better than a pair of 1/1s, the trigger is a lot worse. I see no reason for them to have printed this card in the same rotation as Eggnapper. If Eggnapper were rotating out at the end of this year, fine, it's all good. But in the same rotation cycle? Why, Bliz, why?

You think your opponent will be shivering in his boots so a 2/2 doesn't pop out? Eggnapper is better in 75% of cases.. 50% comes from the fact you can trade on your own turn with no drawback, the extra 25% comes from 2 1/1's being better than a single 2/2...Vryghoul gains 25% when a 2/2 will actually be better than 2 1/1's. It's not like Vicious Fledgling where you can keep ignoring the board state and SMOrc, there will be many times you have to trade this on your own turn and you don't get shit for a Deathrattle. That is a big drawback and that is what makes it worse.

Either you get a good trade, or your opponent pings it and you get another minion. I rate very good.
A worse Eggnapper
Will probably see in play in aggro/token druid. Other than that, it's fine in arena.
4

I can't figure out why they used this deathrattle on more than one card. It's just ... not good.

Okay arena card with really cool name:)
the reason Eggnapper is better is because any deck that wants to run this has a way to buff attack on minions, so 1/1's become 2/1's or 2/2's
These "on your opponent's turn" deathrattles need to actually be threatening creatures for them to want to kill them.
The Warrior one is. The rest have not been.
even if the deathrattle triggers it's only a 3 mana 5/3
