For the same reason why Keeper of Uldaman seen play, I could see this played in some control Paladin deck. As a way to reduce the effect big threat minions.
In arena I can see this played not only on your opponents minions but also yours as a small buff to something like one of your hero power 'dudes'.
It's a decent card for arena at the least. May have a chance in constructed, but just like Humility it being a spell may be its downfall.

the reason keeper of uldaman was played is because if your opponent had a huge minion you could turn it into a 3/3 that couldn't trade effectively into the keeper or just being a slight tempo boost if your opponent had an empty board and you had a 1/1 dude that could attack.
This costing 2 and not giving you a body make it pretty bad. I'd rather run humility over this.
Excellent, especially with 1/1 Divine Shield minions and eggs, so should fit nicely into some kind of aggro list. It's lower value than Keeper of Uldaman, but being able to use it on turn 2 is a big deal since a 3/3 is more effective on turn 2 than on turn 4.
The main downside is that it's very difficult to use when you're behind, though with the right synergies it will still be good. The main card it competes with will be Dire Wolf Alpha.
so Vilespine Slayer is assassinate on a stick, this is the backwards way where they remove the body from Keeper of Uldaman, soooo, do you guys think we'll ever see a Spell that does the same as Tarim does? (makes everything on the board 3/3)
We know how powerful this effect is from uldaman and tarim .
so might see some play .
Those cards see play for these reasons:
1. Uldaman favorably trades with the minion it hits if an enemy.
2. Tarim favorably and forcibly trades will all enemy minions it hits.
That's why those cards are used, and this one will not.
KoU doesnt have taunt so it never traded and it was too slow to see competetive play, KoU was solely good for the effect to remove big taunts and legendaries efficiently with a weapon or one of your minions, sorry but you are the same people saying Sunkeeper tarim was bad, this will be the only reliable way for paladin to deal with The Lich King without having to waste board clears
This is a single target equality that is more versatile and doesnt punish your board, calling it bad is like calling equality bad
Good lord how to unravel this:
1. Uldaman was not bad, not slow, and frequently traded with the creature you hit with the effect. Claiming otherwise is just lying. Stop lying.
2. I did not say Tarim is bad, I said it was good and gave the reason why it's good.
3. This is not remotely the same as equality. Equality puts minions at ONE health, allowing a Paladude to kill any enemy minion. This puts minions at THREE health. Three is three times greater than one, shockingly enough.
4. If you are so interested in crippling an enemy creature with a cheap spell, Humility exists, and it is one mana cheaper. Humility is barely ever used, because there's a creature with its effect that is supremely better. Just like this card will never be used but the creature its effect was attached to was used constantly.

Righteous Defender
This card is much worse than keeper, at best I'd say it's just a bad card.
This card its bonkers, flexible cards tend to be really good. This one its good on early game and on end game, in every match up.
My magic will tear you apart!
