Given that the weapon is easily teched against, I honestly believe this to be the weakest DK hero by far, insofar as CW gains now real benefit from playing it. The enrage cards are all midrange so buffing them AFTER t8 is wonky as hell. Also, I am not convinced that the Hero power is even a significant upgrade in the control matchup where this card becomes relevant. I for one see zero reason to cut a card for this in any Control Warrior theorycraft.
The weapon is nice, it almost by itself secures board control for 3 turns which could help you use all your mana to develop stuff. Probably not that great in constructed but absolutely bonkers in arena.
I don't know if this card is doing what it wants to do.
The HP wants to work with Enrage minions, but the DK comes too slowly. The weapon wants to be control, but the quest is already better at that. And you lost Armor Up.
Maybe a world exists where you play this AND the quest? but drawing them out of order seems like the saddest panda.
Unplayable, Warrior doesn't need board control it needs value, your opponent is just going to look at you like you're stupid while he takes you into fatigue, only plays one minion at a time or destroys your weapon and laughs - the card is literally worse than Gorehowl, my god that is awful.
First off, Gorehowl is amazing. Secondly, Shadowmourne would definitely be played in Warrior if it was costed at 6 or 7. Lastly, whirlwind effects are very powerful in warrior so this hero power isn't too bad. It activates execute a d sleep with the fishes so it should help warrior get some more liberal use out of cards like ravaging ghoul and slam. Anybody who has played warrior knows the struggle of deciding whether or not to play your last execute activator. Also, this card fits very well with warrior thematically.
Underwhelming tbh. Thought it would get more than 5 Armor.
With that hero power, you just need a couple minion on board along with your Armorsmith to generate, each and every turn, a sh!tload of armor ..! If one thing, this card is overwhelming compare to other DK card
Shadowmourne was what I really wanted for Warrior, very happy it happened. Not sure how I feel about the hero power, but going to craft a good one regardless
I also think this is probably the worst Death Knight card. Weapon is really nice, but Hero Power is really underwhelming.
Visual and audio design of the card is great tho.
The Hero Power synergizes very good with all the "if this survives damage" tools that Warrior gets

Seems to be a missed opportunity, awesome weapon but .... really don't like the HP
It's just a weapon, but not near what an 8-mana legendary weapon should be. That's it, the hero power is not worth it.
This is probably the worst DK hero. At least Gul'Dan was the opposite today.

No-one has commented yet about (streamer) Trump being a douche and getting our hopes up with dual-wielding hero power nonsense.
Fire Plume's Heart is just better than this, at least in standard. Grim Patron synergy is good though.
I prefer quest over this any day .
rag power can win games by itself . this is just a 2 mana whirlwind every turn .
Patron warrior revival inevitable!Might also help Hogger Doom of Elwyn see some play... maybe
Why not both?
Glad to see Control Warrior get more love. 10/10

It is that good that I'd rate it 5/7 ^^
"What have you got there,
PinocchioMalygos?"It is good, the problem with this card and the paladin hero is every deck must have 1 or maybe 2 weapon removal.
Poor Medivh, it is a very good card but will become unplayable.

the only sad thing to me is how Pirate will continue to push Oozes into the metagame. Cards like this will suffer accordingly. Otherwise it's awesome.
