Random, 4 mana 2/2 that needs to die to have value. Either should have been a battlecry, or should have taunt to at least force aggro to trade with it.
Reminds of Kazakus, but slower, way less reliable, and with most options being completely unusable against aggro.
I give it a week before it gets eaten alive by pirates.
Against control, Potion of Madness is still a thing, and the deathrattle just works against it, as usual.
Oh well, at least the art and the intro are pretty.

I know stats are not the best but as a Main Priest Player I will definitely craft this Card. In Quest Priest this Card will be great. With [card]Mirage Caller[/Card], Barnes and [card]N'Zoth, the Corruptor[/Card] you will get more Death Knights Cards than with [card]The Lich King[/Card] because your oppentent will kill him as soon as possible and most of the time you will only get one Death Knight Card out of him. Arfus can give you more and is cheaper.
A Combo with [card]Spiritsinger Umbra[/Card] is also possible. And than you get 2 Death Knights Cards, instead of maybe only one with [card]The Lich King[/card] for the same Manacost. So i dont' think this Card is bad. Only alone by herself not the greatest
2 or 3 options of the DK cards are completely unfit for control. Milling yourself or boosting your minions is not a good idea.
I think this rng fiesta will be fun, but not viable in standard. I might bw wrong though

Milling yourself isn't a great idea unless it saves you from loosing the very next turn.

Sure, but you don't play a 2/2 for 4 mana just to maybe get the chance to mill yourself and save you or get a completely unfit weapon sitting on 5 life. It is pure luck whether or not you find a suitable card or just stuff that is not usefull at all.
I'd rather have my freeze options or healing portions

You play a 4 mana 2/2 to get your hands on a swingy card. No, you aren't guarnteed to get something you want but you'll generally always get something you can use. This is the way I think of it. Would I play a 4 mana 2/2 to get a dream card far earlier in the game than I normally could? The answer is I absolutely would. The deathknight cards seem to be in the same general power level as dream cards.
I mean this isn't an aggro card right, but I would play it in any control deck.

I think I'm seeing the problem, these cards are much, much worse than dream cards. One of them is straight up worse than shiv. All of the dream cards are pretty fast, the slowest being a 4 mana 7/6 whereas these cards can go into 6-7 mana with effects that are much weaker than dream cards. If you get the 2 mana steal card, you just paid 6 mana for a delayed card draw and a 2-2. Most of the dk cards are worse or on par with cards from your deck, whereas all dream cards are easily better than cards in your deck (maybe not laughing sister... but she's not worse than shiv).

Some are slow. Deathgrip sucks, not questioning that. But 3 mana deal 3 to all enemies is slow? 2 Mana deal five or gain five is slow? 5 mana wipe the board is slow? 2 mana kill a minion (and take some damage) is slow? Frostmourne is slow at 7 mana and army of the dead is slow at 6 mana. In any deck I am playing Arfus in, the one I absolutely don't want is death grip. Pretty much everything else I can make use right away with the exception of Army and Frostmourne.
Right asteroid but it's basically a 50/50 you get a decent card... I think overall you're getting the same as a card from your deck's power level which means this card is terrible. 4 mana 2-2 deathrattle draw a card is really bad, compare this to the 4 mana 4-2 deathrattle draw a card (which you would probably agree is a bad card for standard play), this card gives you maybe 1.1-1.2 worth of a card for 2 less stats. You can highroll with the 3 damage card but you can lowroll with half the options and as you said deathgrip is just terrible. The investment isn't worth the rng payoff

1.1-1.2? I think they are all worth more with the exception of death grip. Considerably more. The only other one I might not want is army of the dead and that is entirely dependent on the deck I am running. For example if I am running Quest priest I am super happy with army of the dead, if I am running some control deck it's not great. I'll take any of the others happily. So it's at worst a 25/75, not a 50/50. Even in the case of Frostmoure, which is slow but potentially VERY powerful, especially in classes that don't normally have weapons. This card IS slow, I won't deny that, and it could give you at stinker but generally a good card. Most of which are fast enough to play on the very next turn. But if I am playing this card, I am playing a slow deck that plans on getting to turn where cards like Frostmourne will be good. The disconnect here how much we think the value of the deathknight cards are. I think they are pretty high, especially for control decks.
Now I don't want you to think I think that I think this is some crazy Dr. 4, it's almost certainly isn't. It is a card I would play in many control decks however and especially in ones that could get the most used out of it, like priest.
I cannot believe they wasted a legendary card for some meme doge, and did not add other bosses from Icecrown Citadel. This just shows the lack of creativity. Why is it even legendary? Legendary filler? Really?
DIsagree on filler, 100% Agree on would rather see another boss. At least arfus is cutely named.

So the fact that they didn't copy a character that already existed in WoW shows a lack of creativity? <smh>
Hearthstone has never before had a small minion that generates an Ysera-type card as a deathrattle. That's something new, which is the definition of creative.

Any further thoughts on this card? I'm sitting on 3200 dust and have Lich King, Mage Shaman Priest DKs..plus a few others.
I like fun cards and this seems fun. Could throw it into quite a few of my decks.
