I think this is the most overrated card in this expansion .
the dk cards are good but this is like 1 mana worth of stats and you pay 3 extra mana for a random ,although good card that sometimes you may not even get (potion of madness, silence , devolve etc) .
paying 3 mana for a single card even a good one is not acceptable in hs meta. Tempo is too important .
That said, the card is bad and will not see much play .
That really depends, people like me will place it in every fucking deck just to see that animation :D I bet it will see a lot of play, just won´t be competitive at all.
If it was "discover" instead of "random", it would be a pretty broken card. In it's actual state though, I don't think it will see play in competitive decks.
In arena it's ok-ish, but I would probably pick something like a cabal courier more highly. It's a legendary though, so nobody cares.
Please explain why do you believe that is. You could make a case for it if it was a battlecry rather than DR, but as it is, I see absolutely 0 reason to run this over LK. Both cards have the issue of not being able to use the spells in the same turn, but LK is a way better card against aggro(as they need to deal with an 8/8 taunt) and against control it's something that they just have to remove the turn you play it, or just lose the game(not only will it keep generating free resources, but it's a fucking 8/8 body that is hitting you in the face every turn). Stat wise, I would much rather play an ironbark protector in my deck than a 4 mana 2/2 as well(not to mention how often you will cry when a priest uses potion of madness on it).
The only actual scenario where this card has any merit over LK is in a N'zoth deck, and even then I would probably still prefer to run LK anyway(or both).
TLK is 8/8 with Taunt for 8 that gens every turn. This fellow is only 2/2 for 4 that gens once when killed. Why is he not at least a 4/4?
Because if he were stated 4/4 he would be thrown in every. single. fucking. deck like Piloted Shredder was. Arfus is probably going to show up in a ton of decks ANYWAYS because the death knight cards appear to be that OP, but they stated him as a 2/2 so he wasn't an "insta-include" with every deck. Him being a beast actually annoys me 'cause it means fucking hunters get that much more of a buff. He shouldn't be a beast IMO.
The stats are atrociously bad and the effect too unreliable. I would only consider this if you also run N'Zoth and need a value card really badly, and even then I'd look in at least 10 other places first.
Incoming Control Hunter because of Build-a-Beast Arfus! Get like 4 of these good boys and then Abominable Bowman + N'zoth to victory.
The hunter hero likes a lot this card.
Potion of Madness = sadness
We are moving into a heavy value meta. Tempo will be far less important.
Great with N'Zoth, great with Curator.
Meta-defining,
due to cuteness meta.

This card's ability to see play will be completely decided by its summon and death sounds.
Arfus is way better than the Lich King imo. Its an auto include in all control decks though, so the design is kind of shit in this regard.
Nevermind. This is actually much less useful on a second look/thought. Mainly because of priest and shaman prevalence. However, fun as hellPlease explain why do you believe that is.
