I think the card is pretty strong, however I don't get the logic behind creating the freeze archetype and using an epic slot for something other than a card having some kind of freeze synergy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But that's the point. Every bit of potential synergy makes Shaman an even stronger class. You aren't facing tons of token and elemental shaman? On EU half of my matchups are.
I agree shaman can beat itself with bad Evolve results. But that makes the hero power even stronger. Plus double evolve from DK pretty much negates doomsayer from tokens or totems.
Obviously bananas for an Overload deck, but I still haven't seen anything that makes such a deck very impressive. It just seems like a typical midrange deck so far, similar to Elementals.
Blizzard.... I don't even... This is how you support"elementals " for shaman and after that broken ass Paladin DK.. Why can't you just make "balanced" cards? After tunnel trog disaster, you didn't make ONE GOOD CARD for shaman's new archtypes.
This card would be AWESOME as neutral, as a Shaman only, it pretty much will see little play...
Who else uses Overload?
Priest and Rogue use Overload. :D On a serious note, yeah, I never thought I'd see anyone say an Overload card would be good as neutral. Perhaps he wanted the Shaman slot to be used by another card.

What you don't get, its classic Blizzard:) They create new archetype, make it like 80% - playable, but not that strong, incomplete, so that some new card or two from the next set would make it 100%, so you have to buy it:)
And its also nice, that they are throwing something for the old archetype, that actually never really worked (overload shaman).. this card might help a bit:)
Don't really understand Blizzard these days. Crafted all elementals for shaman ungoro day 1 and they decided to make an elemental card that with overload synergy...
I really like this card... like Arcane Giant, it benefits you for doing stuff Shaman already want to do... imagine a turn where you play Lightning Storm and Earth Elemental and then also being able to play 2 giants... killer board swing
Feel like if this card is gonna be good, then they'd already run Arcane Giants as they use a fair amount of spells. Already got 4 mana 7/7 and 5 mana 7/8. Not sure these are worth building around and including average cards you wouldn't otherwise, there's enough hard removal around and especially more now going into KFT, I don't think I've ever really been too afraid of seeing a rogue slam down two cheap Arcane Giants.
Unplayable. Lets say you overload 5 crystals to get it to 6. You will be so handicaped by the overload in turn 6 that an 8/8 will make no diference. Disgusting card.
Unplayable in standard.

After the "nerf" with the 4 mana neutral released, here's a "buff" to Feral Spirit.
12 wins in ArenA with: Mage and Paladin, first time legend with Rogue
Ok... dear devs, you give us Freeze archetype, so... why it's not "cost 1 less for each character frozen this game"???
In wild this is good with elemental destruction.
In standard i dont want too much overload in my elemental deck, also a 8/8 vanilla even if reduced is not worth the deck slot.
Interesting card but doesnt fit anywere atm.
This card is also interesting as it is 11 mana, meaning you can evolve 10 mana minions now.
job's done.

2Lightning Bolts, 2 Lightning Storms, 2 Jinyu Waterspeakers for sure (total overload: 8) + maybe Stormcracks, Jade Clawss, Flamewreathed Facelesses, Earth Elementals, Volcanos, Feral Spirits (even with the similar new card they are not so bad) ---> may see paly in some late game Shaman deck. Arcane Giants and Sea Giants could be added to form a memeish giant deck.

This and Thing from Below make me think there's something in wild with Totems and Spirit Echo that could both be very strong and very fun.
Current Deck -http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/240420-army-paladin - Token Paladin
To everyone playing token shaman, you dont want to devolve mountain or arcane giant now, especially damaged one.

Nice, overload deck should be fun in wild with giants and Spirit Echo. Some more overload unlock cards would be neat ^_^
