The issue with taunt druid it's bad against most control decks since FoN nerf. But considering that aggro is always a thing in every expansion i'm pretty happy with most druids cards this expansion.
I think people are gravely underestimating this one. Possibly the most versatile and most playable DK, alongside Thrall. The hero power more than compensates for the mediocre battlecry.
Even with Fandral Staghelm and Hero Power synergy, you're realistically only getting that off once. It's strong, but it isn't a game changer.
All I'm saying is that the Druid cards coming out are obviously trying to push a more control-based deck, but that never works because they print way too strong earlygame. The only way this works is with Innervate to get it really early, but it's too unreliable at that point, like Counterfeit Coin for a huge Turn 1 Edwin VanCleef.
People are saying that the Battlecry is bad, but it's fine. you are casting a 5 mana spell and with Fandral you are completely swinging the board. Webweave is terrible on it's own, but if you pay 2 more mana to get 5 armor + new hero power + the flexibility to summon two 1/5 taunts is great. If the board is empty, go with Spiders otherwise taunts are good and the taunts make up for the loss of tempo.
Does Fandral Staghelm synergise with this Hero Power? because fandral reads "Your choose one cards have both effects combined". but the hero power is not a card.
HP upgrade worth about 2 Mana, bugs worth 2 Mana each, armor worth 1 Mana. The only question is combining 4 effects in one card worth the decrease in value of these effects in the late game?
This is nuts, propably the best DK. This is basically warriors justicar truehart but better. Verry flexible verry strong, will see play in lategame druids
I think the 1/2 poisonous can actually be great at times . Adding minions with poisonous effect in a deck that lacks any kind of destroy effect gives druid a tool that they will be happy to have in their arsenal when facing big minions .
Okay I am going to call this now. I think webweaver and this will actually be good. For druid this is more like 6 mana or even 5 with two sources of ramp. I think behind a number of taunts these little poison guys will get work done. I won't be sad to get this DK. That being said. Paladin looks REALLY strong this expansion, scary strong in my opinion.
I doubt that Malfurion the Prestilent is weak since you can ramp up to get it easily if you get a nice curve and depends on the type of deck it can fit in so i do think this is one of the strongest imo but i understand where you are coming from with your statement
This will see play in every non-aggro druid deck. Its just a good win more card. Like you dont lose anything when you play it, hero power is no joke. Its quite solid card. For example mage, shaman and priest require for you to build deck around them. But this doesnt. You can just throw it in any druid deck and its just gonna make it better.

Release the Kraken!
Know which card I like better than this? Justicar Trueheart. Did you play Justicar in your druid deck? Me niether.
Dissapointment.

First deathknight that I would rather have their justicar hero power than the DK one. Looks like crap on a cracker.
Am a budget player trying to create fun and interesting decks. Sorry for bad spelling.

Justicar is not in standard.

Guys the reason this is super duper is because of how flexible it is!
