Okay card, but its worst case scenario being soooo bad (no targets) makes it a likely dud. Its saving grace is its low mana cost, which could make it playable with powerful effects... But hey, if Feign Death + Sylvannas never caught on, I don't see why Play Dead + Sylvannas would.
Being a common spell means we'll get offered way too many of these in Arena, although some decks might want to pick up one or two.
I see a lot of complaints about this effect being redundant, but isn't it the kind of thing that gets better with quantity? At a certain point, enough of these effects could push a card like Devilsaur Egg into play. I know the turn 3 tempo loss sucks, but if you're pulling 5/5 upon 5/5 upon 5/5 out of it, maybe it balances out at some point. Standard hunter now has access to five of those effects, two of which are dirt cheap (though obviously card draw is an issue) and another of which provides a respectable body and beast synergy on its own (Princess Huhuran).
This card craps on all the other DR triggers based on its mana cost. One of the main reasons the others aren't played is the difficulty in comboing them. At 1 mana, this is much more possible.
Well, if Deathrattle hunter becomes a thing, and it might, this will see play. But only in that deck. For instance, if Egg Hunter becomes a thing (in standard format), I can see Play Dead being played. A 1 mana 5/5? That's pretty legit.
The question is, will Deathrattle hunter be viable? Well, this card helps make that happen but it in of itself is not enough. We'll have to wait and see.
No-one played Huhuran and that 3 mana deathrattle guy, and this is even se than those, so will see no play. Hunter just can't put as weak cards in deck almost without any card draw.
Should've been a 1/1 minion with battlecry... Quest hunter needs support, better beast synergy, doesn't get wrecked by geist and puts an activator in the board for cheap even without a Deathrattle available. Hunter is a tempo based midrange class that put minions on board, this card needed to be a minion to really be effective. Common blizz.
What are the devs thinking, hunter needs some buffs not half ass spells - even the image on the card is a minion based image. (love the art at least)

I like it ! Deathrattles usually worth 1 mana or more, so can it really goes wrong ?
Also absurdly good idea for Wild and Sylvanas. On Sylvanas/Shield slam level (Sylvanas still alive but hunter lacks tools to make the best of Sylvanas, noticeably massive removals).
It should have been zero mana as a single cast spell. I would put it with priest silence. Silence is insanely powerful but needs to be snuck in to be an effective tool for priest. I believe the same goes for this card.
Although I believe the best design decision would have been to make it a 1/1 minion with battlecry.
This mechanic just doesn't work... especially for hunter... hunter is about constant tempo... and this card just sits in my hand until turn 7 maybe... hunter games are over by then
1 mana stuff is always useful for filling curve gaps, so i believe it's quite playable on anything that leaves a body on board as a deathrattle (as long as it is at least 2/2 in stat(s), like the druid raven, which is 2/2 and costs a card. So with kindly grandmother its 1 mana 3/2, with infested wolf 1 mana 2 1/1's, with shredder 1 mana 2 mana minion, highmana 1 mana 2 2/2's etc. Good card.
Is this worth 1 mana? In some situations yes, in most - no.
I'd argue the opposite. How many deathrattles is it not worth on? Hell you just need to hit a Kindly Grandmother and it's worth it.
It's not so much that, if I said it's a 1 mana card that summons 2 2/2 beasts then that would be insane. It's that in order for it to work, you have to have a card on the board with said deathrattle and that doesn't always happen.
In terms of an effect it's really good but would you use a card slot on this when you have other minion options that also activate deathrattles? Would you be better off running another card that has a deathrattle? In most situations, yes - this card isn't an auto pick by any means.
this + Corpse Raiser is good too I think it's good because you can play right after you play highmane or something But it's just take you deck slot for nothing That's the worst part

I think there is too much deathrattle synergy for no reason.
If Hunter could draw their entire deck quickly, this would be very good. But right now it's unplayable.
1 mana spells are dead anyway.
