This card is reaaally good. Worst card scenario it is a 1 mana: summons two 1/1s. Hunter is in a pretty bad spot but this card is definitely a good card, whether the class is good or not, like Defile is a good card even if Warlock is in a bad shape.
Comparing Princess Huhuran and Terrorscale Stalker are pretty meh because they aren't flexible. But this card is extremely flexible and it will often help you curve out better (since Hunter is only about curving, let's be realistic).
Wish they'd come up with some new cool concepts, instead of reprinting rotated cards (slightly modified)...
Feign Death and Play Death? Come on...
Everyone was terrified feign death was OP, but it sees no play, not even in wild. This will be the same thing. Hunters have too many 1-2-3 drops and poor card draw. Even hunter's mark is better than this.
Wow, this seems desperate. Like what the fuck? First it was a legendary, then a rare minion, now it's a 1 mana spell? Who the hell is working at Blizzard and really wants this effect to become meta defining? I have never seen an effect rehashed so many times.

I am dubious. Feign Death never saw play and it did all your minions for 2.
That being said you made some interesting points. Firstly the field and meta are different now, and will chance again shortly (maybe). That is important to keep in mind. Additionally we have different targets to hit now and that makes a difference. We likely haven't even seen all the targets we could hit yet with this.
I am not excited about this card, but I am willing to wait to see how good it is or isn't, but my initial guess would be, not good.
I see all these death rattle effect cards you know what i dont see ... very many death rattle minions in this set
2 druid 1 hunter 1 priest 1 warrior and a couple of really bad neutral death rattles. Because of that i cant rate it good. I keep checking for something to make me excited I look and im like nope notta. Daddy wants to see something like a webspinner or with a decient deathrattle and the word beast on it the next time hunter rolls the dice on a new card that is coming out this expansion.
It's funny to see people call this good after the disappointment of Feign Death. And that card came out along side 2 sets with some of the best and most frequently used Deathrattle cards in the History of Hearthstone.
@asteroidm Feign Death saw few plays for meta reasons, but also because of its mana cost. Feign Death almost always triggered on 1 card because the best way to beat hunter is to deny him his board. 2 mana investment for this is therefore too bad. Most of the time the triggered deathrattle would not have been good enough to justify it being played. Think about Piloted Shredder, Sludge Belcher, Mad Scientist, etc.
Now with this card the situation is different. This card act as a floating-mana-optimizer. Most of the time the card will get you good value and good tempo: Hunter runs enough good DR to make it consistant.
Hunter has always had a problem with draw, so unless death knight rexxar is good in a deck and you get enough ''draw'' with build-a-beast this will not be good enough. Hope it works out though and love the art :D
This is super card for hunter as it gives more strength to its main midrange archetype.
Yes, hunter allways had problems with good cards draw so had to use best curve play he can afford. But this card is 1 mana 3/2 Wolf on t3 together with some other 2 cost minion ot hero power at least. He can flood your board with rat or just at t7 with highmane this is just good board presence.
I voted meta-defining, suppose it will give more life to midrange-aggro hunter archetype.
At first I thought this was a bad card, then I realized, the biggest issue with terrorscale stalker was it's inconsistency. This could be run alongside terrorscale and a bunch of deathrattles, and it probably would just made the deck way more consistent.
Maybe not the best deck, but if you run enough cards with the same effect, that means it's easier to build your deck around it.
Let's lock and load!
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
definitely, meta defining for how cute the card is

It is another cheap source of minions to feed Scavenging Hyena. Can speed up aggro and seems ok to me.

The potential of this card is pretty good. I think people are being a bit too quick to dismiss it.
I'm here to kick ass and play cards, and I'm all out of ass.

This being 1 mana makes it great imo.
Let me change your mind

This effect used to be legendary worthy... Prince Huhuran... Spiritsinger Umbra...
Here Mr. Abominable Bowman. Play Dead boy, that's a good boy.

Again, this is very likely to be a dud. Triggering a deathrattle has never been meta viable. Not even with feign death.
It can give value but it also uses a card. People who call this meta defining lack a grasp on how much you don't want to use a card on this.

How can you guys do such cruel things to a *Princess*, over and over again... Pity her...
