If you play Raza before this it is good. If you haven't played Raza before it is very weak.
I not so sure about it, 8 manas kill all big minions (Bye Ragnaros and Tirion), gain 5 armor and get an easy way to deal with weak minions sounds like a full packed of solutions for your problems to me.
Of course Raza is priority in this deck to make viable many uses of hero power in same turn, without Raza is loss of crazy potential.
Real question is if i play shadowform after this does ir become 3 damage. Cause if not im very very disapointed. Its not shadow priest support its "here is slightly better shadowform that doesnt work with shadowform"
No. You are not in Shadowform when you play this card, you're in Voidform. The upside (not talking about everything else) is that you don't have to run Shadowform; this is a package deal kind of card, but better in a way.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
Pretty underwhelming, and no synergy with Shadowform. I was hoping for something like "If already in shadowform, deal 3 damage" or "Deal 2 Damage. Lifesteal."
So they give you an automatic Shadowform combo and you think it's underwhelming? KAPPA.
So youre defending an 8 mana shadowform? The kappa is on you i think
It's not "an 8 mana shadowform", it's a shadowform auto-combo (to gain the same effect you'll need both Shadowform and Auctionmaster Beardo to remain alive), plus an aoe removal for late game. On top of that, and most important, it's a finisher: something that the class is missing since a long time due to the lack of powerfull legendaries.
So ok, totally crap crad as you said.
Can we stop to see this card as a finisher? To finish with this you need to assemble a combo 6 cards /Razaa,This crapy hero card, 2x shadow visions, 2 radiant elementals in a deck with no carddraw.
Under the conditions
Run a Kazakus deck with 2x Radiant elemental 2x Shadow Visions LOOOOL
while not drawing both shadow visions pre turn 10, while not playing 2 two drops of your deck before the combo, while playing razaa after you drawed 2nd radiant 2nd shadow vision....are you realy serious on this?
So unless you fullfill this epic quest of ludicrious proportions this is basically a Shadowform+iron hide for 8 mana against aggro/midrange decks and you actually think youll be alive to ever pull this off?
We should start to call that deck meme priest already its even more rediculous than kripps chimney priest.
one note: to make OTK combo it will require a lot of draw in your deck and to do that you will gonna need a board control and minions if you decide to draw over Northshire Cleric. So basically the effect from 8 cost clear your board but only more 5 attack and that wans't works against aggro decks. And in my experience the most playables decks in all season that we had was aggro decks. This card have a good potentional in theory but in scene doesn't work properly.
Insanely disappointed. When they said "shadowform synergy" I didn't realize they meant "this card discourages you from playing shadowform"
Was hoping for a "replace your weapon slot with your current hero power: effects that change your hero power change this slot instead" with a Mind Vision hero power. Two hero powers is going to be visited eventually; priest deathknight would have beeen a fantastic opportunity for that.
This card does nothing interesting. It's just Beardo and base shadow form. I'm just going to keep playing x2 shadowform highlander... what a disappointment...
A lot of people critique this card for not providing any way to combat aggro decks all the while forgetting that priest has decent ways of defending itself against early aggression.
This card is clearly meant as a late game play to secure the board, keep it secured and to chip away at the enemy's health. If you're having trouble against aggro as a priest, try using Wild Pyromancer and cheap spells or Doomsayer or the Auchenai + circle combo, etc.
You playing greedy and not teching against aggro is not this card's fault.
obviously your going to play Raza with Shadowreaper Anduin, and if you are going to play Raza may as well play kazakus (maybe). would be nice if we had an inspire card or two, but the grand tournament mechanics seem to have died a long time ago.
Sure you could do a Raza, double radiant elemental, shadow vision loop a 9 mana after playing this. However I don't think it'll work that well and really be the strength of Shadowreaper Anduin.
First off let's see the value of playing Shadowreaper Anduin himself. About 1 mana for 5 armor, and then you have the effect of "cast shadow word death on everything" which does affect your own minions so... good thing priest doesn't have a lot of minions with more than 5 attack. It does counter the druid ungoro legendary (kind of both of them) as the 12/12 "cant be targeted by spells/hero powers" can be targeted by this, and if the enemy druid slams down 7 8-10 cost minions you can slam this down and you just got a massive tempo/resource advantage. That said with Shadowreaper I'd imagine this would be fine to play if it removes 2 threats and pretty good if it removes 3 due to each shadow word death being worth about 3 mana.
The hero power though. Hate that it doesn't really synergise with shadowform however there are some ways I imagine it'll work great. First that otk thing with raza, shadow visions, and radiant elementals that wouldn't be the most consistent otk since anduin, raza, and both radiant elementals have to be in front of the second shadow visions by turn 9. So fun when it happens but I don't think it's really consistent enough. On the other hand what you could just do is use a card like Lyra and have turns where you play like 4-5 cheap cards with her for 8-10 damage controlled where you want it to go. In a more draw based deck where you race to get shadowreaper anduin with cheap card draw/discover cards then you can just play a lot of your cards with raza and deal a lot of damage through the hero power. Then add benedictus in order to make sure you don't die to fatigue.
The combo isn't that great, but with raza the hero power basically adds "And deal 2 damage" to every card you play, and with a bunch of cheap cards potentially generated through lyra it's pretty good. heck if you play maybe 1-2 cards every turn then your hero power is dealing 4-6 damage each turn which is significant.
Seems fair to slap right into most slow Priest decks since it barely requires any synergy to be good, as long as you have some alternative way of healing for a bit (like a Greater Healing Potion). The Raza synergy is pretty busted, and that is going to give Wild Priest a pretty huge bump (particularly Chansey Priest).
The Radiant Elemental combo is not viable since you are highly unlikely to have the last Shadow Visions left in your deck by the time you draw all of the other combo pieces. However it's still trivial to deal extreme damage with this, easily upwards of 10 each turn.
Sure let's just build a deck full of 4 attack minions to tech against the all the death knight priests there will be on ladder. That will go reeeeealy well. (I went rank 2 to legend with Kazakus priest).

I'm so going to try an all in deck with
the deathrattle quest
raza
kazakus
the bishop
lyra
and of course the hero power.
Make sure it's anti aggro and defensive until you pull out the quest the bishop or the death knight.
Bishop makes sure you can compete vs control nontheless even if you only have low drops and anti aggro spells.
Clearly to pull radiant elementals.....as well as raza
ShadowRaper Anduin O.o

You guys are thinking about OTK too much. Anyway, Raza the Chained and Prophet Velen are all the tools you need to finish any opponent.
English isn't my first language, so please excuse any mistakes.
Seems actually pretty good. Could even be splashed into Quest decks for more sustain. The battlecry will play a huge part in control match ups.

Sometimes play a one of Lightbomb in wild, this could replace that. When are emotes to be revealed?
Not sure if hyped yet.
As if my dear Jungle Giant Druid didn´t have a hard enough time already. Other than that, I like it!

Despite the rumours before the release the anti-synergy is so huge that finally I can dust my golden Shadowform without regret! Kappa
