Another Stonehill Defender nerf. So blizzard actually follows the meta and adjust the new cards now unlike Karazhan which made the powerful classes even more powerful and weak class (priest) even weaker.
I mean, transforming a 2-mana minion into this is preeeeetty good.
It is also pretty unlikely. What I find more disgusting is the DK Hero Power. Whenever you roll a doomsayer (from Evolve) you can smooth it out with the hero power. And.. then you can roll Drakkari zomg o.0
everyone is probably going to overreact about the 3 overload but a 2/8 taunt on turn 3 is boss and i'm sure this is for control/freeze shammy who doesn't really give a flip about turn 4 since he can frost shock/glacial shard or coin + something and it'll be fine.
Token Shamen need to build a board by playing the curve, a board they can Evolve or Bloodlust later. So this card doesn't work that well in that scenario.
Yes, you can play this card turn 6-7, but by then you are usually working on other strategies.
Worst case scenario you have 1 mana left on turn 4 while you completely shut aggro opponent on turn 3. Glacial Shard could delay your opponent's biggest threat next turn - then Volcano turn 5 to complete the work.

English isn't my first language, so please excuse any mistakes.
Ideally, this gets pulled from Dirty Rat or isn't played on curve. Probably not the biggest player in the incoming slower meta aside from ensuring aggro has a hard time thriving, but giving up your turn 4 can be a gamble if you need to play this to combat aggro on turn 3.
I do like that this is one of the many control cards that is cheap and low in rarity. Budget control decks will become more popular and effective, and the typical high dust value decks will continue to benefit.
All hail the evolving meta, and let's pray that Jade Druid and Quest Mage don't farm us all into oblivion.

Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
The overload makes it a mana-inefficient statline, just like with Earth Elemental. It's the same amount of health, though, and for 2 less mana up front, I think it's worth it.
It's also a massive buff to Finders Keepers, since the only Taunt you could grab from that was Earth Elemental.
Well it is def not good for turn 3 it will be more for play more stuff at higher mana for less at that turn for having less power next, in other words good for all in inside arena when you really got to put a lot of things at same time for round 8 7 mana otherwise it is not that good for turn 3.
Deam I wish overload bypass cards were not in wild could be usefull if they were here.

On itself the minion is okayish.
It certainly exists because of Evolve and the new DK Shaman.

3 overload seems too high of a risk for this card to be good.

So , if you play this card you are skipping turn 4. That means you remove all your 4 mana cards from your deck and play "Prince 4" (Keleseth?).
Still bad though.
Trash card and for a class that already has the best answers to Aggro, anyone that voted playable or better has not played Shaman for a long time.
In fact you can't play those since the taunt is 3 mana and 3 overload you only have 1 mana if you play it on curve.

Battlecry: skip turn 4. No, thanks.
My magic will tear you apart!
Only good in an aggro meta. Worthless against control.
This is the perfect card for your mother in law.
Everyone saying this is a 6 mana 2/8 - was Faceless a 6 mana 7/7?
This card is going to be good. Pirates aren't going to die off until patches rotates, and this is a thorn in their ass.
Lakkari Felhound am cry.

Its the stats of Deathlord, seems really good and too hard to kill at turn 3. (Except vs Priest will be so punished)
Anyway, Overload 3 at turn 3 is just too bad. Because with 1 mana on turn 4 shaman cant do anything good. Well, unplayable, then.

wow deathlord is back! so op! meta-defining!
