Proberly not since 3 hp is 1 single burst and this one heals 3 for certain and can be buffed alot of times.
I would argue that Farseer heals for certain and Agony either heals you none, once, or maybe more against a spam of 1/1 minions. But in a meta with Frostbolt and Power Word: Pain I would still do a safe bet on Farseer and a "maybe good" on Agony. If you buff this against Shaman you gonna be sad.
Underestimated card for sure. This is much better than Farseer. Farseer is a one time heal for only 3. This is one of those "play on turn 3 and it must be answered.........play in combination with buffs/Argus/whatever and it blows Farseer out of the water" kind of minions.
"Dies to Frostbolt/FWA/most 2-drops/whatever, and does nothing when you play it" is really bad logic and bad way to evaluate a card....I wish you all would stop using that line of thinking.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
I love playing Priest but this is not the card I've been waiting for. Priest has plenty of healing options and this is not needed for the class. Warlock and Rogue want Lifesteal, Priest less so. This will not replace the Kabal Talonpriest.
On a side-note, yes, this could help in a Shadow deck. It all depends on the new Death Knight legendary which we haven't seen yet.
For Arena, I would pick this card if no better options are presented. It's still a decent 3-drop.
Of course you can, like Curious Glimmerroot or Tar Creeper. I won't be putting this in a deck, except maybe a shadow deck, that doesn't stop you from doing so, go for it.
I voted Playable by the way, I do not think that it's trash.
I can see the benefit if you're shadow Priest as it can potentially give you heals and I'd wager you'd get at least 6 health from this guy if he's played right

If you desperately need healing in a shadow form deck, why not just run a Greater Healing Potion, which actually buys you a turn in the late game all by itself? A measly 3 point heal "per turn" that might not even take effect before it dies/you die is going to be irrelevant at that stage of the game.
yall need to learn how to evaluate cards. i should write a guide.
How good is your record out of curiosity?
I have no idea. But just some general guidelines and things to keep in mind that almost everyone is glossing over. Not like "how to predict if a card will be good in the meta."

Not terrible, it's great against decks like Pirate Warrior not for taking the board, but for staying out of burst range once you have board control. It's an alternative to playing taunts.
Some people compare it to Earthen Ring Farseer and say it usually does the same thing, but I don't think that's true at all. If you use Earthen Ring on yourself to heal for 3 against a burn or aggro deck, that's just 3 healing, those decks can often ignore that and still continue hitting face. This on the other hand has to be dealt with or it heals for 6, 9, 12, and so on. Earthen Ring is better against other types of decks since it can heal minions, but that's also not as big of an advantage as it would be in other classes since Priest can already heal its own minions. If you win control matchups but struggle against face decks, this will help you.
Most Priests will probably prefer Tar Creeper for a defensive-drop, but still, not a terrible card.

You're right for the most part, the problem is that it's only got 3 health. It dies in a single hit to most weapons and all but the smallest of minions. If it had 4 health it'd probably be too powerful though - the difference between taking one or two hits before it dies is what makes or breaks this card. Edit: spelling
Priest has better opitions at the moment.

guys, goddamn, you can put more than one set of 3-drops in a midrange deck. quit saying "kabal talonpriest is better so you can't play this."

Voted bad.
3/3 for 3 mana that will just die in some trade. It's a bad earthen ring farseer, which currently isn't used anywhere.

Just a worse farseer.
I'm here to kick ass and play cards, and I'm all out of ass.

Yeah, which is why I said "not terrible" instead of "good" :P
A worse earthen ring farseer
Big crap
