Too expansive. You want to thin your deck earlier to avoid "bad" draw, also Mage' secrets need some planning and cannot be played randomly in order to get the max value from them.

This guy understands. Maybe it will be our savior and actually get that spell nerfed to something more reasonable (even a 1-mana discount and it would still see universal play in mage).
Can someone calculate how many secrets you need to run in your deck to make this over 50% to play.. 3 secrets? 4 secrets? 5 secrets? Assuming you use 2 arcanologists and don't use other card draw mechanics and don't get milled.
Mage secrets don't need minions on the board to be good. This goes into a completely different deck than mysterious challenger did.
But same as with mysterious challenger, when you've drawn a good bunch of your secrets, this becomes bad. And this particular card becomes ENORMOUSLY bad.
I had a pretty good feeling mysterious challenger was a bit better than people thought on release, but I also have a pretty good feeling this will be a really hard card to play and won't easily find a deck. Though I have no doubt it eventually will.
I wild guessed meta defining. Seems bad on paper but a lot of people also thought the challenger won't see play.
I hope though this card will not be played. But some fucker probably makes a working deck with it and you will sit there not able to play any card because mirror image, counterspell, manabind etc are all active at once.
Sure mage secrets are among the most powerful, but unlike like mysterious challenger this is a low tempo play. The power of secret pally was having a strong card to play turn 1-6 (and sometimes 1-8). At the very least you had a 6/6 body. This card will be seen every now and then, but it will be through card generators, and not actually from being put into a deck.

Really hard to evaluate this card..
Paladin secrets are crap, but pulling 5 of them FROM YOUR DECK mysteries challenger was extremely strong.
Mage secrets are far more powerful, and having 5 of them being pulled out of my deck into the field is massive tempo swing.
I think it will see play in some kind of secret heavy mage, featuring medivh and many discover cards.
I think it's only good if it gets paired with Medivh, and it still might not be good

Definitely bad and I am sick of seeing Mage and Hunter cards. There are other classes as well, you know?
