Literally replaces Argent squire in aggressive Paladin cards and it is not powercreep because it is a class card. By the way in wild this card is going to make paladins extremely annoying to deal with. Turn 1 righteous defender, turn 2 shielded minibot. eurggh!
I think it's a good card - currently I prefer Fire Fly to Argent Squire as a 1 drop for Paladin (because it's decent late game as well with Sunkeeper Tarim) but will probably replace it with this.
This card seems really good. It isn't a snowballing 1-drop, which is refreshing. But it's probably a better version of voidwaker in most instances, not to mention helping with any potential divine shield synergy.
There is 0 reason not to play this honestly. this turn 1 saves you 2 damage from pirate warrior all day. Not to mention it trades into 2 health minions pretty easily. In a sense it's not like its meta defining in a way that its broken, but its meta defining in the way it will be in every deck like spike ridge.
They just need a 2 drop with a dynamic effect... could easily see the 2/2 2 mana give a minion divine shield becoming viable though.
I think pally needs a 2/3 for 2 mana that has immediate impact on board like refresh a minions divine shield if they had one or gain taunt and +1 health if you have a minion with divine shield

Very solid card good enough to see play in both formats. Argent Squire has about a 65 rating so this one should be around 72/100.
The divine shield deck puzzle is slowly assembling. I just miss Shielded Minibot...
