I think the underhypers are forgetting just how strong would be the trade potential.
Tokens and sticky minions are what a Shaman would need for this deck imo. You trade, evolve, repeat. His hero power is the most conditional of the 3 revealed so far.
Kind of ironic that a seer (somebody who sees the future), has an effect which summons completely random minions which could possibly work against your favour, haha.
I think this is one of the more underwhelming hero cards. If you actually play evolve and devolve you'll understand why devolve is so much better than evolve. "Trade and heal" is not very realistic in constructed as can be seen but the lack of play master of evolution sees (4 mana 4/5 evolve a minion). The only time the hero power will be good is if it's used on special battle cry minions such as doplegangster and big-time rackateer.
Keep in mind your esentially paying 5 mana to play evolve twice the first time then you have to pay 2 mana to evolve an individual minion after that and you lose the ability to totem.
Maybe you can build a good deck around this card if there's better battle cry special minions that come out but this isn't any good if you just jamed it into any of the current meta shamans.
This seems pretty weak to me. Five mana do nothing on its own (which means it's terrible when you're behind) is bad for constructed aspirations and unlike Evolve this card is hard to combine with Doppelgangster for instant army.
A lot of people saying the initial ability is good, but it really isn't that much better than evolve is it? Evolving twice isn't actually twice as good as evolve to me. The reason evolve is so good is because for 1 mana you can take something like doppel gangster (3 2 mana cards in terms of stats if were generous), and change them into three 6 mana stats. So you're getting theoretically 12 extra mana in stats for 1 mana. Doing that twice only gives you three more mana in stats than before when you did it once. Basically I see this battlecry with the armor as being worth about 2 mana. Which means your paying 3 mana to get this hero power. I don't think current token shammans want that kind of card.
Exactly. I was excited to see the new Hero card reveals because the others have been so cool thematically and have broken new ground in terms of potential deck-types, but this is uninspired and probably just a poor card to begin with.
Edit: At the time of posting this we've only seen DK heros for Mage, Hunter and Shaman.

Yea my initial reaction to this card was disappointment at how not unique it is compared to the other 2 death knights.
On the plus side though, the art is sweet, which for me actually makes the card a little more interesting. And the hero power looks fun to play with. Still though, you're right, nothing groundbreaking here. Not to mention loads of randomness.
I agree that the Battlecry is not any better than Evolve but the Hero Power seems good. You don't have to make any significant changes to your current Evolve Shaman deck to include this card. It only improves the current deck. But I won't be playing this deck cause I am not a fan of inconsistent RNG Fiesta decks.
power : garbage .This is tyoe of win more card,if you have good board with battlecry effect you already win,no need to mess around but if you fall behind hero power cant help you comeback,at least taunt totem can save you
Pff just use this with a normal elemental shaman and see how powerful it is seriously people think evolve shaman or token shaman all the time but this card can be used in many kind of deck hero power is fkn is like restore all health of your minion + increase stats most of the time seriously minions with bad stats are less than minions with good stats also you can choose whatever you want to evolve so you can always consider your other options while using this unlike Evolve

Is the hero power really any better than Dinomancy or Shadowform? They're obviously become good the more value you gain off them but I'd argue this hero power is in the same league and the card has the same problem.
Originally when we didn't have enough token generation in shaman people overvalued Evolve a lot. Everyone called it to be a meta-defining card but it ended up being almost-playable at best. People will test out this card for sure and it might find home in the Token Shaman as a finisher.
Seriously people this card is nuts yes it is not flexible as much as Evolve but even if you evolve only 2 card you get value from this
Is miles away from nuts. Evolve sees play because it's 1 mana. No one ever needs evolving for 5 mana. Will see play in the first two weeks and then it'll be dropped.
You realize that this is evolve 2 right, not 1?
So #1, you've already eliminates the possibility of Doomsayering yourself. #2, that's 4-drops for all your totems, which are much, much better than 3drops.
So that's at least 2 mana worth of evolve + 1 mana worth of armor; and Master of Evo shows that "evolve one minion" is worth about 1 mana (generally class minions have 1 mana of value over a vanilla). So worst case scenario, that's 5 mana for 4 mana worth of effects, and you don't have to burn 4 cards for it, only 1.
Or you could look at it this way; you've just changed your hero power to "heal a minion to full" with an additional chance of giving it +2/+2 or a bullshit effect like taunt/divine shield/give you a 5/3 weap.
I would probably be aiming for turn 7, after the Doppelgangster + Evolve turn. Boost your survivors to 8s, and then use your hero power to get rid of Anomalus.
Sometimes I'm shocked at how wrong the community predictions are. The card does nothing when it comes out on an empty board which means that you need to develop your board a bit before playing it and the hero power is also completely useless on an empty board. Looks good on paper but in practice it is bad. I would strongly advise against crafting it.

Now I see why they added Ticking Abomination to the game.

Check out my entry for this week's Card Design Competition. Vote for it if you like it.
Because they are not equally powerful? What kind of question is that?

Because people are bad at predicting cards' powerlevel.

Why win when you can win more?
This card is bad.

So, if you have any 10 mana Minions, does it evolve them into Clockwork/Mountain Giants?
If you can cheat it out, it is broken.
Pretty boring, we already have evolve, this is not at all interesting compared to vampiric elementals and zombeasts.
