So I had this card played against me for the first time today, and I am kind of upset. I had music playing when she came out and I didn't hear her battlecry. I have been wanting to hear it for quite some time, but I didn't open one of her and I dont wanna waste the dust. I feel like I may never get another opportunity to hear it.
It's so funny to see how 70% of this forum voted for this card to be either 'Very Good' or even 'Meta-Defining'. What a nice epic River Crocolisk!
lets face it, most who voted meta-defining, is basing it on the direct discard mechanic introduced to Hearthstone but Im sure you had already figured that out yourself
I've seen it played a lot of times in warlock, it's more or less useless and thins out the deck which is usually cool unless playing a deck where burning a specific card can fuck things up, but it has that psychological "oh no, he burned that card" effect. Quite interesting, it can often cause a change in strategy.
oh great. a card that can destroy your whole gameplan and you can do absolutely nothing about it.
and of course it's completely random ! awesome design !
The comments on the first few pages are hilarious, but these type of comments are the best of them all.
It basically reads: "oh great, shuffling your win condition to the bottom of the deck can destroy your whole gameplan and you can do absolutely nothing about it. awesome design !"
So, all you people who thought this would be meta-defining, where are you now?
Take a look at what the public outcry was at how "awful" a card fel reaver was before release, and you will realize exactly why the average Hearthstone player can't understand why this card is bad. Deck discard mechanics work basically the same way as the Monty Hall problem, some people just can't understand it, and never will, even if you show them legit evidence of the facts you are presenting.
Kind of like a cat will never believe a laser's red dot can't be catched.

Monty Hall is somewhat confusing due to how the problem is structured compared to most other similar problems. This was pretty obvious.

So I ask, does anyone know what her battlecry is?
Fuck cubelock

In all of this joyless Druid cancer it is nice just to come back to this thread and gloat.
