Wow that effect has potential to be really strong - Hey quest mage heard you need Antonidas to bad it just got discarded. Hey jade druid heard you be looking for that second jade idol to add more copies to your deck too bad you just discarded it. In wild players be looking for Reno too bad you just discarded it.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but there is exactly the same kind of card in MTG, and i think there's a worst one when you can chose a the top three card of your opponent's deck.
I like it. Face deck gonna hate this if you discard like leeroy jenkins ^^ So I LIKE IT !
Face decks will give a shit what card you discard. They hit you in the face with an Arcanite Reaper then. Or a Mortal Strike . Or any other burst they have. Only the decks that rely on certain cards or a combination of cards to win the game can get screwed by gnomish vampire . Let's say Exodia mage and you discard Antonidas. But any boardcentric deck and in particluar aggro will not care. They don't play till fatigue anyway and discarding any card can simply be treated as if they did not draw it.
very nice card. yes, in any game that doesn't go to fatigue, the value of the battlecry is a bit lower. but first of all, 2/3 stats for 2 mana is always a good thing and also this tells you a lot about your opponents deck. it reminds a bit of curious glimmerroot in those regards... a strong early game body that cann tell you what kind of deck your opponent plays and also what card he can't play anymore in this game.

Dirtier than dirty rat as you can at times play around the rat if you suspect they have one or may play one. Can't play around this. Would be a killer at fatigue when you get your Elise last (happens to me quite often) and shuffle your pack in as last card. Although I would assume that would rarely happen outside of a Renolock deck at this point.
Yeah pretty much 2 mana 2/3 do nothing, although it can f up some deck strategies like destroying a 2nd jade idol, or evolve, alex etc.
you miss the fact that warlock has no good 2 drop atm, also if you remove a tirion or deathwing or the new death knight from your opponents deck you basically won
Yeah I definitely miss the fact that warlock has no good 2 drops, being a warlock main and having 80% of all my games on warlock. This is not the 2 drop warlock needs. Its rng driven and does nothing pretty much against aggro. Gollaka Crawler is better than this.
Funny how you bluster about your warlocks feats but have nothing to say about the fact warlock has indeed no good 2 drop atm. Aggro isn't the only archetype in the meta, sticking out your chest isn't gonna change that.
Maybe you don't understand, so let me explain you. When I get to heartstone, I see warlock card collection every time, I know every warlock card there is in my mind. I can tell you exactly what 2 drops there are for warlock in standard atm. Every day I experiment with warlock decks, in particular handlock. I ladder only with Handlock, no other deck. What I think about lack of 2 drops for warlock? Maybe if you read again what I said, you will see what I said that this is not a 2 drop warlock needs, warlock needs a card like Dark Peddler as 2 drop. And this is bad, rng driven card. Same people who think Dead Mans Hand is a good card will say this is a good card too.
Pretty interesting card, it's the sorta thing blizzard said they didn't want to print, but here they are, printing it. It's arguably a two mana 2/3 do nothing a majority of the time. Even against combo decks it's normally just going to make their combo go off faster... So. I... Think. Not playable. But the stats aren't bad. Maybe in the right meta it could be played. Or even just in a more controly warlock deck they could fit it in in even slightly comby or controly metas? Like, stats an't bad... How worthwhile is the small chance of the highroll vs the bad average? Very interesting card.
I love this, finally a way to screw over those uninteractive combo decks that just sit and wait all game until suddenly they've won.
You can sit there and not play a thing all game, thinking you're holier than thou, until I burn your win condition. xD
(...)
Hopefully the RNG is too much in this one and it ends up sitting in the collection forever because you can't consistently burn win conditions and it doesn't support any warlock synergy.
Exactly this will happen. It has the impact of River Crocolisk and only can win games against decks which rely on a specific card to win. And even then it is inconsistent. Sure, milling a tirion fordring or Ysera looks like a value play, but unless the game goes to fatigue (which rarely happens presently), you did not get any avantage out of the play. There surely are games in which Tirion is not drawn but which are won nonetheless. Gnomish vampire gives no card advantage, no tempo besides a vanilla 2 drop, nothing special. I cannot imagine this will see serious play.
If it was at least a demon, I could see it working because of curving, since there are no 2-drop demons in the game atm, but as it stands, it has a very fringe use. That said, I could see it in some warlock deck-variants. The big question is, do you SEE what card is removed? f you don't, the card is beyond useless in most cases. Knowing that you removed that Leeroy or that Boardclear is what makes this card valuable in these situations.

haha, fantastic card. do we get to see what's removed?

Would have preferred it to have the opposite effect: have better stats (3/3, say) in exchange for milling you a card. Would have fel-t more Warlock-y.
quite interesting
Such creativity, very interactive card Blizz. SeemsGood
Release the Kraken!
People rarely put cards they DO NOT want into their constructed decks. So, a random chance to just win by playing this sounds good.
So we're going to be playing with 28 card decks in this expansion. This is one of those cards that I saw and immediately voted meta-defining.

It could be meta defining. It's gonna be dirty and rage inducing for many for sure, why the hell did they do this...
You can't stop the signal.

I don't like this card and it doesn't really fit with warlock to play for
I don't like this card and it doesn't really fit with warlock to play for fatigue. It really punishes combo decks and you can't play around it at all
