Is it just me or is Cobalt Scalebane stronger in token/aggro decks than dragon decks ?
Despite how strong it looks it's going to be incredibly difficult to find room for this card in a dragon deck.
However you just play this in standard shaman deck and you basically have a permanent Bloodlust on a 5/5 minion. Really strong synergy with hero power.
Mark my words, aggro decks will abuse this card and the community will hate it, and it is meta defining. Hell this is even good in pirate warrior.
Maybe the aggro dragon warrior deck will return in Wild ?
If an aggro deck is using a 5 mana card to do 0 immediate damage, that is okay by me.
It's kind of like a guaranteed 8/5 for non-dragon token decks.
I think it will even be played in Priest. Netherspite Historian's body and Northshire Cleric body are almost useless for trading.
This allows you to trade up and there's no disadvantage in playing a 5 mana 5/5.
The only trouble it will cause is that sometimes it will come as a discover choice for netherspite and you want Big Dragons/Drakonid Operative from it.
A card that would have seen play over azure 12 months ago. Was it really necessary to hof it?
This card is ok and, situational, very good.
Azure always is very good.
For example, you play this with a empty board, opponent kill with a Word, Hex or Shadow Strike and you don't get any value, if you play Azure in same situation you get a card and can kill a 3 health minion with backstab.
This card is good Azure was broken, really need to go to hof for others cards be played.
For 5 mana, you get some nice stats for it cost + a threatening ability and It's common, especially in arena, this will be great if your opponent has no immediate answer to it.
Very good card for begginers and I'm not so sure but I think this could appear in ranked, low-level.
Are we sure this one is fluffy? Remember the warrior card? Lol. Anyways on to the card. Solid body, good effect if you have multiple minions out, its end of turn instead of start of turn so your opponent cant respond to it. Very good card in my opinion. Only question is will it fit in any pre-existing archetypes of mage?
I think we'll make this a common theme among Asian cards that don't get revealed without their respective English names for at least the first 10 minutes :P
Twilight Drake followed by this in warlock pretty much becomes a giant. It's a decent stated 5 drop that will require an answer. Decent card seems to me.
5 mana 5/5 minions have pretty much always been acceptable. So, check.
The dragon tag can only help this minion make it's way into various decks, most notably Priest. However priests already have a better 5 mana dragon with Drakonid OP. Not sure if it will fit in there or not and not sure if other classes will play it without further synergy. hmmm...
The effect is actually quite powerful. 13 worth of stats in a 5 drop is significant that will continue to snowball unless dealt with. While probably not quite as urgent, much like Grimestreet Enforcer, this guy needs to be dealt with quickly or the value starts to snowball.
I'm on the fence between Playable and Very Good. If more synergy cards are released (If you have a dragon in your hand, stuff happens. etc etc), then I'd say Very Good and would be welcome in most if not all dragon decks. If there isn't any more synergy though, I'm not sure he'll see constructed play. I'm voting Playable for now but may change it when more information becomes available.
Brings 13 Stats for 5 if you hit a target in the first turn. Also is a Dragon.
Question is were you might want to put this in. Maybe as a 1 off in Dragon Priest. Other than that maybe midrange Shaman/Paladin if theyll manage to include Drasgons but that has to be seen the decklists look to full atm but if there are some more verry good dragons in this set, who knows.

oh yeah, this is going to be my favorite common card from this expansion!

Check out my entry for this week's Card Design Competition. Vote for it if you like it.
not horrible, good in arena, kind of boring.
Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
I mean at worst its a decent arena card.
A neutral minion, with a dragon tag, a somewhat cool buffing effect and a decent stat line :
Edit : However, artwork could have been a little ... Fluffier
"What have you got there,
PinocchioMalygos?"Me too!!!
Death to all who oppose the Horde!
A good card, indeed!

Auto-include in Dragon Priest.
"What have you got there,
PinocchioMalygos?"Realy nice love it
Not too expensive. Decent stats. Perpetual buff effect. Dragon.
Seems like an auto-include in most dragon decks, at least.
Devastating in arena

This is definitely a good card
