I don't see what kind of mage deck wants to use this. A tempo mage deck which would benefit from shutting down a minion doesn't really want to be hero powering, and a control mage or freeze mage doesn't want to play this minion which is easily removed just to freeze one thing?
Reminds me a lot of Fallen Hero, which doesn't set a good precedent since that had much better stats and didn't see much if any play. Granted Freeze is a much more powerful effect, and this does have some Elemental synergy for whatever that's worth. The stats a just so bad though.
My fan creations : My entry for this week's competition (7.20) : SKILLED GRAFTER [2mana 1/1 neutral minion] Battlecry: Craft a custom 2-Cost minion from two 1-Cost minions. My entry for CCC #4 : THE CHEF (2nd place!- Thanks everyone!). A new basic card for each class. Trying to improve the basic set in terms of strength and diversity by giving each class a new basic card.
Maybe not the best stats but I do like the card. Can be used to keep a deadly minion from attacking, can be used to keep a weapon-based class from lethal or regaining the board for one more turn. Plus being an elemental is always nice. Probably better in Arena than constructed though.
