I can see Prince Keleseth "working" in some wierd aggro decks. I can see Prince Taldaram maybe working in a combo decks. I don't know why would you put it, but ok. Sure. MAYBE(that a big maybe), it will work out, somehow. Probably.
I kinda wish we could get all of those Princes as a gift in the beggining of the expantion, but I am a bit too greedy. I just wish I won't get any of them in my packs.
Yeah, but Un'Goro was a powerhouse of a set. It's kind of hard to find a card that's legit not good in Un'Goro. So the only card that was considered the joke of the set was still pretty decent. Daddysaur is the best.
Actually Prince Valanar is reasonable in taunt warrior and Priest. Like he still triggers the quest for warrior (plus he gives you 4 health back). For priest he is reasonable because he still goves you health and you can biff his attack and/or health. For control hunter he is reasonable because they wouldn't really play any viable 4 mana cost minions at all if we compare it to midrange hunter and even for rogue if you don't jizz for Sherazine decks

Pretty sure Bloodhoof brave is a much better card to have.

Have you ever seen a combo deck that revolves around faceless manipulator copying a minion like malygos or prophet velen and bursting you down with spells? That's why you would put it in. In that deck it would serve the same purpose as faceless at a lower cost (with a drawback of course). Considering it has happened before I don't think it is as unlikely as you think.
You could use the 2 and 3 mana ones with Hemet, Jungle Hunter. This doesn't really sound great by any means but it would be an enabler assuming you have the 2 or 3 mana prince in hand.
This is something that has been accepted in MTG for years now, but the HS community is so viscous about any card that won't win tournaments. These cards are clearly printed for Johnnys.

I suspect this is due to the fact that the game is mostly focused on ladder play. Magic has a very large percentage of its players as what they call kitchen table magic players where the goal is to sit down and play with friends rather than compete. Hearthstone is designed in such a way that it kind of pushes for ladder play. There is the casual mode obviously, Tavern Brawl, and friendly duels but even with all of this, I have no idea how much of hearthstone appeals to casual play.

I could definitely see that, the aspect of sitting down with your friends and playing some rounds with ridiculous or intentionally bad decks is taken away.
I also refuse to believe that there aren't a fair number of people who play casual just to have a fun game. I think those kind of people don't come and post on forums and whatnot so the competitive community forgets they exist.
Nah, there is a fair amount of casual players or homebrewd decks. It's just even from casual point of view Prince Valanar is bad. Like, ok, copying stuff sure, give +1/+1, ok. But just a taunt with a lifesteal isn't that fun or strong.
Maybe it will work in some decks as ScruteBucks said, but, I don't know.
I kinda dig Prince Keleseth, but other two... meh. Just my five cents.
actually Prince Taldaram is the one you'll be most likely to see, many Rogue, warrior and warlock decks don't even use 4 drops, and this is a neutral heal, so yes, you'll probably see it a lot more than the other 2,
also i kind of remember you being one of those..not so bright players.. that thought that The Caverns Below was a bad card when it was revealed and then complained day 1 about it being broken.
Prince Taldaram, Prince Keleseth, Prince Valanar. Are they the new memes now?

But Prince Valanar is just on another level of badness.

I will, won't I?
The new joke card of the set is Ticking Abomination , last one was Ultrasaur and the one in MSOG was Weasel Tunneler.
But Ultrasaur is kinda ok in arena, so it has at least one redeeming quality.

Just remember the good times!
They're not horrid, just pretty bad. The 3/3 one is the most appealing.
Release the Kraken!
This would be cool:
1) They go in your starting hand automatically.
2) If they are all in your deck, something cool.
Yeah, that would be nice. Like, you will draw them on the turn when you have X mana.
Valanar is possible in some classes in which the 4 cost cards are either bad or flexible.

Keleseth is the only one with some form of potential. The other 2 are just so bad and mirage caller is just a better taladram.
I find it weird in hearthstone that the community doesn't accept cards printed for other player archetypes than Spike

Next week Blizz will release a card that makes Prince decks tier 1 and this thread will become the meme. The troll gods have spoken
