Is the hero power really going to be that useful? By turn 9 there probably aren't going to be many creatures that you can kill with one damage. Call me a pessimist but I don't think it really does enough for a control deck to warrant switching out other late game options and it seems too slow to be viable in some kind of elemental tempo deck. I could be wrong but I just don't see this getting very much play.
If elemental mage is a thing, this card will be good. Otherwise it will never get played.
You're pretty dumb, i think people have exlained it in this thread already that you don't have to have a lot of elementals. 1 trophy leper gnome :P
Oh yeah? The same community that voted Gnomeferatu, dead mans hand, archbishop and the "remove all 1 mana spells" card meta-defining? I think I will be making my own evaluations, thank you very much :)

Don't try to reason with "class fanboys". This community voted malchezaar meta defining with 41 percent. Any burn magr deck with alex is much stronger than this card's tempo deck

I wouldn't bet on that. That kind of mage struggles hard against anybody that can heal. Anything that can go above the 15 health Alextrasza gets you down to can get be a real pain to kill, and in this expansion, every single class is receiving at least 5 armor with the DK heroes. With Frost Lich Jaina, you do not rely as much on that face damage, and can keep constant board pressure with the water elementals you generate through killing enemies.
First game with this was my Dragon Frost Lich Deck vs a strait Elemental Frost Lich deck. Game went to fatigue and we were both -9/-10 fatigue damage before it was over. Its actually pretty easy to get the Water elementals going, and they can hit a big minion freeze it and heal you for 3.
3 Sindragosas won me that match because i just kept getting useful legs from her
Just want to report that the card is pretty fun to use, I don't know to which point it will be good or not because today is too early to tell, but I love using it.
This is what I am playing currently:
the card is pretty busted tbh, so far, the less hyped dks, like gul'dan, rexxar and Jaina have been showing the most promise....while uther and valeera, well, valeera is completely useless, the fact that even if the shadow reflection copies something it dissapears during your opponent's turn makes her unplayable
don't know why everybody is talking about jaraxxus, nobody is playing it since it loses in late game to other stuff, like jade or the new hero power of the priests and the paladin, actually nobody is playing warloc at all... but it can work if the mage only wants to acquire board pressure to kill the opponent with minions and spells, like reducing the health to 15 and doing the 2x fireball and frostbolt, since it spawns elementals that can freeze the opponents strongest minions and hit the face while healing.
Once you get it going in the lategame it is very hard to beat (especially with the lifesteal from elementals). Finding the right spot to play it is sometimes tricky though since you cannot play your hero power on the same turn.
OP clearly has a mage bias, look at those golds O_O; Opinion is completely dismissed. Moving on.
Haha, jk, i gotta say i agree. Everyone called her trash but then forgot that ice block exists. So you can't kill her the turn shes vulnerable. This is the sole reason i tech eater of secrets into my decks. Sick of the ice block BS. I had a mage one game play 5 ice blocks, must have been lucky (or unlucky) primodial glyphing and Cabalist Toming, just absolutely annoying as hell.
I still think that this is the most powerful stand alone dk due to the flexibility of creating never ending healing and value without needing to build around it at all. Just throw up an ice block and you're safe to play Jaina and start healing back up with the free water ele before you even make more.
It only "destroys control decks" if you keep going face. Just focus on maintaining a board presence and not letting her build more water elementals and you win.

This card will synergize great with Sindragosa.
The art is depressing, the 9 cost hurts, but what can you do? Freeze/Control Mage with Lifesteal Elementals?
That just sounds unfair, but what would be swapped out for Jaina? Flamestrike?
Losing a board clear for healing might be worth it if you got good board control in the early game. 2x Volcanic Potions, 2x Doomsayer, 2x Frost Novas?
love it! i really liked the way reno-mage was mostly played, more grindy, less burn. i hope this makes something similar possible again
I am very excited for this card!

3 games, 3-0. first impression is WOW
Damn jaina is so awesome even on a card super sexy jaina ftw. my waifu you cant have her!
The Mage DK is freaking OP. Just destroys control decks.
Played it a reasonable amount of times so far, only lost 2 game were I played it and one of those was against a Priest where it went to fatigue.

I'm so annoyed that Anomalus's Deathrattle doesn't use the Lifesteal

I have no time for games.
