As a side note, this card makes it relevant if Blizzard changes this effect to the keyword elusive. As is, this is a beast with text so it would count for that part of the zombeast, but if it is condensed to one keyword it opens up a lot of possibilities
Don't fantasy on Houndmaster, it is just a vanilla 4/3 minion 90% of the time.
lol ok. We'll see how you feel a month from now when midrange Hunter is punching you in the face with it every other game. This card is very good and horrible for the game.
I won't try to convince you that a 3 drop that dies to most 2 drops of the game is bad, I'll remind your comment, tho !
well of course if your opponent plays a 3/2 on turn 2 you dont follow up with this. "it dies to most 2 drops therefore is bad" is bad logic.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
faerie dragon isn't a fringe card, it used to be played all the time, it still gets the occasional play.
But bearshark is even better since there's a reasonable change it could survive turn 3 and you could follow up with houndmaster or razormaw.
A fringe card by definition is a card that sees occasional play because it is right on the edge of viability. So, by your own assessment it is indeed a fringe card. Yes, fairie dragon used to see play all the time, back in 2014! Point out to me the decks in tier 1-3 that are using this card right now...The last top tier deck I can think of that consistently used fairie dragon was tempo dragon warrior which was many months ago.
Bear Shark is for a class that already has its greatest concentration of power cards in the 3-mana slot. The only thing this card has going for it is the beast synergy which makes it slightly better than its dragon counterpart. It's not a bad card, I'd put it in the playable-good range, but people that think it's the second coming are going to be disappointed.
Flavor: Amazing. One of the best cards Blizz has ever made.
Actual card: dust. With the build-a-sharkbear hero power you can get a 7 cost 6/9 taunter, that's literally better than Soggoth the Slitherer (cost of hero power included)
Who is voting meta-defining it's f*cking fairy dragon (a fringe card) with +1/1 stats for 1 more mana and a different tribe. Big whoop. I think it will see some play but this card wont be dominating any meta.
The amount of games that I won because of Faerie Dragon because I didn't have Twilight Whelp they just couldn't remove it with their spells and were forced to do badish trades..... Now we have one with a beast tag. You know i'm gonna try using it!

G=Good B=Bad Do you see the pattern? Every second expansion is always trash.
If your opponent has anything on the board by the time turn 2/3 comes around where this becomes playable, you're playing your Hunter very wrong. Of course, we have those games where we curve out horribly but those are far in between most of the time. I will definilty try to make this card with to setup for a pretty nasty turn four houndmaster or Crackling Razormaw. I'm expecting to see this card in a lot of hunter decks.
Okay in arena and maybe it could find it's way into a niche constructed deck. Overall, pretty weak. It's just a 3 drop version of Faerie Dragon which doesn't see any play. It dies to weapons and most 2 drops can trade up into it yet it itself doesn't really trade up. If there was a rating to vote for between bad and playable, I'd vote that. Because by all rights, it's not a bad card. It's just, outside of arena, it's not a playable card either. As it stands, I have to vote bad because this simply isn't a card you'd slot into your deck as one of your 30.
Honestly, where this card will shine is when it's given to the player through other effects, such as Jeweled Macaw. Also, if Zombeasts become a thing, this is a pretty solid option for that.
Could see play.
Wont cut huntress, wont cut companion, wont cut bow, wont cut ratpack.
This will not see play in competetive
Yep, me gusta hunter cards.
need take time to make new pic and signature using the new cards.

bad card with great reviews, check.
dies to most 2 drops, hunter got better 3 drops, and a 3 mana 4/3 didn't saw play as of yet

G: Goblins V Gnomes , Old Gods, unguro
B: TGT, gadgetzan, Knights (Unreleased so MAYBE)
Well this card with good stats for mana cost if come out from a Zombeast it will be very nice minion
Boys, playing on curve this dude only gets contested by Fiery War Axe and Flametongue Totem. Stop the 'dies to 2 drop' bullshit.
Still, won't make the cut cause Hunter has enough 3 drops.

I would rather this be a 3/4 instead to promote more trading and less face.
It's about as good and about as playable as fairy dragon.
That means it'l see very, very limited appearance. But, still might see play. I don't think I'd run this over rat pack, though.
Isn't obviously and strictly better and/or power creep to existing cards. Therefore, I have no choice but to rate this a -1 billion/10.
Will never see play, because I only agree with the hivemind and I hate Hearthstone.
