Play two of these on turn 4, follow up with Brawl on turn 5 if your opponent is stupid and dumps his hand. Opponent: "Well Played".
Well, or lose the game because you're 2 cards behind and your opponent isn't a complete moron.
Well with the new weapon CW can draw like mad with AoP again anyway, the deck can also draw with the Curator because of hatchling ,drake and ysera , 2 shieldblock, a Slam or sometimes with Harrison Jones so card draw is no problem for Warrior mate. This card is good. 1 of this card in the deck basically mean aggro will be free win for you. Va control, CW is shiiit right now because the deck generate no additional value lime other control deck aatm, so it is not related to this card, its up to Blizzard if they want to print value cards for CW.
I don't know about that. Late game, the armour gets less relevant and using a card for 10 armour isn't very good. If you get to top deck stage, it is hot garbage.
It is an anti-aggro card. Ten armour will buy you a turn or two after they have burned their hand and are likely floating mana anyway so they get next to no benefit while you wait for your control to really kick in and stomp them.
Not sur if that card would see play. maybe as a oneoff tech against aggro deck but as control warrior you already should be favored in this matchup.
Imagine the risk you can take if you help them discount the wrong cards : 3 mana Lyra with free radiant elemental, 5 mana Antonidas, 2 mana fandral, 7 mana malygos, 7 mana alextraza, 4 mana auctionner...
What happen if have two of those in hand and no board clear ? not sure the card will ever see any play
Don't get why this card is praised. Everyone who thinks that this card is meta-defining/very good never played real controll warrior (taunt warrior doesn't play like old real cw) You lose card advantage and tempo. While the cw deck itself never needed much tempo by itself it was allways highly dependent on being able to stop the enemies tempo and this card does the opposite. Usually cw lost against aggro/midrange if they had to much tempo -> this way the strong removals weren't enough anymore and cw usually lost against controll when they had to much hand size disadvantage.. This card is just terrible in every possible way for cw and I can't see a non-cw deck which would need 10 armor that bad. There need to be new extremly potent armor interactions to make this card better than trash-tier.

Who can take your trash out? Stomp it down for you? Shake the plastic bag and do the twisty thingy, too?
Even against mage I'd say this card is pretty risky (antonidas or alexstraza only get better). Against combo decks in general it is probably rather bad.
On the other hand you can play some mindgames in control or midrange matchups with this card and trick your opponent into overcommiting. Fun Card, I'm looking forward to play it.
Last thing i am going to say in this discussion is that everyone who thinks this card is good has no clue about CW and the whole game itself.
You are absolutely right. Reading the discussions on here praising the card made my head hurt. Rank 16 advice isn't really needed.
No value or cycle, so it's useless versus control. The backdraw makes it useless versus combo. Advantage it offers is unlikely to give more edge versus aggro, on the contrary it would probably make the only slightly tricky aggro matchup (pally) tougher (unless he plays like a turd, in which case you didn't need this card anyway).
I just chimed in to stop people from believing the nonsense praise this card has gotten in this thread, someone just checking this thread might think the card is actually worth crafting. Don't. Do. That.
Maybe it will be bad. But i'll experiment with it. I am not entirely convinced it will be. Though you actually make a few decent points, even if you have felt the need to say shit like "lawl ranks 16 lawl". That being said, I'll wait and see.
I mean, the 2/6 2 cost minion that pulls a minion out of the hand would be great with this. You can either use that to pull a card out that would have been lowered, see if they have anything in their hand anyway creature wise. I can see this card getting used a lot, especially since it + shield slam will kill nearly anything that isn't stupidly overpowered.
Good against aggro for recovering, absolute trash against control. Can't really judge it without seeing how well Warrior's control game will be based on the remaining cards.
This card suppose to be played when you are about to die if you play this early you will get punished so hard that because we all know what Emperor Thaurissan is capable of doing if he lives for two turns
Nice late game card

I'm not sure how good this will be, but it looks like it would be a lot of fun.

So, say, Dirty rat, this card, shield slams what comes out if it's big.

Looks like pile of dust for now.
Control over all.
Doesn't develop neither your board nor your hand = usually: bad.
12 wins in ArenA with: Mage and Paladin, first time legend with Rogue
Voted bad.
10 armor for 2 mana is not good enough in warrior, and it even has a drawback.
Great against mage, but two iron hides is more beneficial against other classes.
But it's harder if you're trying to play two iron hides...
