It's actually pretty great. With control warrior you're able to stall out and exhaust your opponent. You don't have to play this on turn 2. 10 armor for 2 mana even when reducing the cost of enemy minions by 2 doesn't really hurt you that much considering how many clears you have. You can time this card the right way and get awesome value from it.

Considering the deck you'd want to play this in, you should have enough Armor as well. This just makes you potentially lose the game. It's too situational to be worth it. The only saving grace is Shield Slam or maybe some other future or unannounced armor-scaling card. As it stands, the 5 additional armor just aren't worth it at all.
Not that I think this will change your opinion or anything, I think this is also a neat minor buff to dirty rat in a way. You can actually check for minions in hand with Dirty Rat lol. Additionally you could pull an important battle cry minion out and deny the mana reduction when you do play this. Just neat stuff imo. You may be absolutely right and this won't see any play at all and it won't surprise me. Still love the design of the card.

We know 1 Mana is 5 Armor for Warrior (Iron Hide)...This card costs the double gives you the double armor and a gigantic pain in the ass too... I played a lot of games and saw Iron Hide 0 times in ranked and arena. And Iron hide has only upsides.
You need a Body/Draw or another upside for this kinds of card... this card is a very bad version of Iron Hide, and Iron Hide was not good...
To all people who think that this cards synergies with brawl... not at rank 20 or higher xD Sorry only a moron would dump out his entire hand... and even if you've encountered mister super idiot you need brawl in your hand too... it's kind of the argument "I play Millhouse Manastorm so my opponent has no spells after next turn!" xD
I think too many people are looking at the reduce the cost of minions in your opponent's hand and applying it to like Alexstraza or some big card, but this card could be great life gain against aggro who are playing 2, 3 and 4 drops on the later turns anyway where the reduction doesn't matter.
Yeah its good against aggro in certain situations, but will most likely lose you the game against control on the spot, that's why it won't see play imo. Warrior has 5 armor for 1 mana, that doesn't see play. Doomsayer is basically a board clear or 7 health for 2 mana. Its 10 armor with a huge drawback.

I don't think you've thought this through against control. You would LOVE to bait out a bunch of minions and follow this up with Brawl - that's an easy win-condition in a control mirror. And if they DON'T drop all their minions after you play this, but keep on trickling them out one by one, then you've essentially dodged the downside of the card. I think it'll be much better in practice than you're expecting.

I'd say it's fine vs control if armor matters, you just don't play it in a situation where you don't have brawl ready if you think they'll put down a powerful minion. Actually warrior is getting enough cheap spells that auctioneer warrior may some day make sense.

Really interesting thought! What is the new hero power for the Death Knight version is still 2 cost but changes to "gain 1 armor and Shield Slam an enemy minion". Probably too powerful but that would be a cool synergy!
This is the first card that looks actually playable in this set. Most of these new cards have been fringe, but not even good enough to carry a deck. This card is ridiculously powerful and a great life saver in control decks. Warriors needed control back, and this will do just that

i like the flavour of this card....propably the best on that.
However CW is already fine vs aggro and doesnt need this. It has problems to close out the game as Jade druid, and quest decks do so consistent.
