Control warrior crushes aggro decks. So that means that cw doesn't need new cards to play against them. The deck needs cards like Sindragosa. Great value card is what cw lacks on.
Very good card with minor draw back! Anyone who says this card is bad is rank 20.
give 2 ticks of emperor thaurissan to your opponent, 2 mana, does not impact the board in any way.
"minor drawback".
Don't use ranks to argue against people. This is silly. I proved your argument wrong so you must be rank 25. right ?
I never said it didn't impact the board. I said it's a minor draw back. Rank 20 thinks that you play this card on turn two. LOL It's a mid to late game card to bait out a brawl or ready with other removal in hand.
People are saying that your opponents won't take the brawl bait and flood the board. If they are holding back minions then they aren't taking advantage of the reduced mana costs they get. The only times that this card is really bad it is against Archmage where they get a ton of fireballs and against rouge where they get a crazy auctioneer turn. But then again you are gaining TEN armour, you should be able the out armour freeze mage and with rouge you just need the kill all their minions and they fatigue themselves. I think this card is going to be great. It doesn't do anything about jade druid, but if you're seeing tons of that you shouldn't be playing classic control warrior.

This isn't necessarily true. If they don't take the brawl bait the can still play 1 or 2 minions and have more mana for spells. Some decks, combo decks, don't need to or can't take advantage of the brawl bait but can still take advantage of the reduced cost later. Reducing someone's malygos by two (while unlikely as at the moment there is not a Malygos deck that is normally seen in the meta) can be devastating for you later.
I don't think this card is as bad as some people think though I do believe it is pretty situational in use vs different match ups. It's great against aggro if they've already ran out of fuel but bad early, maybe this is where fools bane shines? I doubt it though. Hard for me to evaluate vs mid-range but I do think it's a card to play when you want to answer something on the board and can probably answer the next threat. This card is really good against control decks due to warrior removal being better against bigger minions and since multiple big minions can't really be played in the same turn though the spells that can tag along with the bigger minions might be concerning. I do believe it is bad vs quest mage though you can use it for counter spell fodder but the 10 hp probably doesn't matter vs infinite fireballs (better against the giants version).
So I think this card is more or less playable and it gets way better with the less cards they have(which is obvious but yeah).
well this card is interesting, I expect to see more armor and armor synergy this expansion for warrior, instead of focusing on taunts I think they will focus on armor now because taunt warrior finally worked. this card really is just straight up strong. Against aggro this is great because they will dump their hand anyway and you as a warrior can deal with that. Against midrange it is a little worse but brawl makes up for that weakness, same thing for most control decks to a lesser degree, but warrior has strong single target removal and if the warrior hero card is what I currently think it will be then it will totally outlast control, and against combo this gives armor and the only combo deck that uses minions just got nerfed and would have dumped hand easily anyway so this does not hurt that matchup much.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?

No you didn't say it. I did. Because that's what it does. Not impact the board.
You will never bait out anything with this card, except rank 20, which is funny since you seem to know a lot about that rank, that would explain why you think this card is a good bait.
You really think i'm going to play into your brawl because you made my Tirion cost 6 mana ? No, i'm just going to crush you with a 6 mana tirion. 10 armor won't help you.
Wow. This is a super interesting card. It's great vs aggro when the opponent has very limited resources left in their hand. But it can lose you a game vs control to the point that it's almost a dead card.
I don't think you've thought this through against control. You would LOVE to bait out a bunch of minions and follow this up with Brawl - that's an easy win-condition in a control mirror. And if they DON'T drop all their minions after you play this, but keep on trickling them out one by one, then you've essentially dodged the downside of the card. I think it'll be much better in practice than you're expecting.
Except the danger here isn't them flooding the board. It's holding on to minions for discounted combo plays. a three mana Lyra with free Radiant elementals is fucking dangerous.
Combo decks aren't Control decks - totally different archetype. Obviously you wouldn't play this against a combo deck. As with all things in Hearthstone, it's contingent upon the player to understand what they're playing against.
This gould have "reduce the cost of minions in your opponent's hand by (1)". This card is either great or really bad, as your opponent has to have no minions for this to just be double Iron Hide... hard to justify that high a drawback just for 10 armour.
It's the only mass removal run in essentially every control warrior deck since the dawn of HS. The others (Sleep with the Fishes and Primordial Drake) are run sometimes but not always. Additionally, neither of those guarantee a board clear like Brawl does when there are high health minions. Sure you can board clear multiple times with multiple clears but nobody's going to drop their entire hand like an idiot when this gets played by a CW. It's far more likely that they'll just ramp up a huge threat onto the board or have 2-3 mid-sized threats on the board. It's still a decent card but it doesn't automatically make your opponent vomit their hand, rather it gives them options to work with.

Exactly - this is a skill card. The player has to know when to play it to mitigate the downside. That means they have to know what kind of deck they're playing against and what's likely in their hand. They also need a plan - are you dropping this card for the armor, to bait your opponent into overextending, to set up a massive Shield Slam.
Doesn't seem worth an include because CW should already beat the pirate or other aggro decks without this card. Maybe if the meta is crazy aggressive and this shines but spending a card to only gain armor is terrible in any midrange/value/control matchup and on top of that it has a downside. (Remember this is just two Iron Hides with a downside to make up for the 2-for-1)
Imagine this vs Pirate Warrior. They usually have one minion on hand so it's inconsequential if it costs (3), (1) or (2).
Only bad against combo otk decks and miracle decks, both of which rather rare these days.
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.

Rank 20 things... Waht a great argument. U are pretty smart, aren't u?
Shield slam is one mana.

i dont want to spend a card for 10 armor and definitely not one that gives you opponent an advantage. card is crap. 20 armor would be a thing

As I can see, u guys haven't played cw in a while so u obviously have no clue what are u talking about.
I guess I don't play enough warrior. This wouldn't impresss me as a good card if you removed the drawback. Not a fan of vanilla heal/armor.

I suppose many of u are playing Iron Hide. Am i righ?
Probably not, so fuck of with noise about how good Bring It On! is.
