Weird card, not sure if it's any good. Many decks will want to protect key minions, in which case it's great value, but many will just ignore this and go face, in which case it's garbage. The deathrattle is what's bumping up its viability since it's a decent revive with N'Zoth.
I am pretty shocked that are people are so blind to think this card will be played in aggro and declare 4/3 as "premium stats" for 3 mana. I don't see any reason to run this card in an aggro deck where life does not matter at all. Why the hell do you need armor in an aggro deck instead of a charged minion or something similar what pressures ? Further I am not even sure if this mechanic is good enough to be played in CW, due to the fact, that it can be simply ignored by aggro decks in situations where you really need armor (in easy words: You do not control the armor gain --> also bad for shield slams). In control matchups you don't really need lifegain, you need value. I think it will be more a midrange/tempo Warrior card.
But still an interesting card and mechanic and it will be exciting to see how it will work out in CW.
The great thing about this card, especially if it comes out on turn 3, is your opponent has to decide whether they value giving you 6 armour above possibly allowing it to make good value trades and possibly winning board control.
Whether it becomes a staple in cw or midrange, only time will tell. But I definitely think it will see a lot of play.
probably wont see play on existing decks. maybe a tech in tempo warrior against aggro
anyway, loved the concept. powerfull deathrattles, but only can be activate by your oponent. makes the game more skill based, since you have to tradeoff what is worse. leting a 4/3 early on board, or giving your oponent 6 armor.
i hope they release more cards with this kind of effect.
Frankly I consider this an anti aggro card. It trades away the small aggro minions (2 for 1), it can go face with premium stats if you as a control / midrange type of warrior are ahead on board and if the aggro player is afraid of dying and has to remove it - voila, 6 hp gained effectively. Will definitely try it out
On paper it's decent (3 mana a 4/3 and heal) but let's be strictly honest here.... how often do you kill it if you face this card?
I play aggro ? I'm just going to ignore it and you'll never get the armor.
I play control? I'll give you the armor sure, but I really don't care.
Maybe against combo, against who you need to both apply pressure and heal out of range, but control warrior really doesn't need any help against combo.
I rarely play warrior, but I don't see in which circonstance this works.
That being said there's nothing wrong with the card itself. I just don't think it will make the cut.

I think the strength of this card is that it forces your opponent to make more decisions (and therefore open up room for mistakes). I don't think it is as simple as "I play aggro" therefore "I ignore it and Smorc." Sure, if an aggro player doesn't ignore it, you gain armor and divert damage from face, which is great. Therefore you assume aggro players will ignore it to deny it power. But, if they do, you can use it to make favorable trades and get an advantage that way. Even if you don't get the armor, the other player has to allow you to dictate the trades.
I think it is too early in the set to call anything, but I like this card design as it opens up a new wrinkle in the tactical layer of minion trading and hope that this sort of mechanic isn't just a one off. It would be cool to see more cards that have special effects if the die under specific circumstances: on your turn, on your opponents turn, if killed by a minion, if killed by a spell, etc. This could make death rattle much more interesting and allow cool and powerful effects while keeping it balanced with extra requirements and therefore more counter play.
This card is a win/win. Against aggro, you will chip its health off by trading it with smaller minions, and sooner or later the opponent is going to choose to trade its 1/1 with your, now 4/1, minion rather then let it hit its face or trade with something bigger. 4 attack is just too much to ignore, perfect stats and perfect deathrattle. Not to mention that you can buff him and practically make him a soft taunt or use with rivendare.

Sure, let me stomp your totems for free or make sure that your Southsea Captains, buffed Bloodsail Raiders, Frothing Berserkers etc never get any value. You'd better have a lot of taunts to ignore this bad boy.
Versus control it'll enable Shield Slam all by itself, which is relevant for dictating the tempo of the game. No control deck passes every turn nowadays.

Hmmm so what 3 drops plays a PirateWarrior for example, Southsea Captian,BloodsailRaider, and Frothing Berserker. Do you really think you can get away with not trading into them/letting those alive? And Korkronelite or Nagacorsair are trades you can't pass up. Same goes for Fledgeling in other aggro decks or even Tarcreeper wich a lot of them are running.
And I wanna see how much "win" this card is against a Control Pally or a Jadedruid , in those matchups you simply play a 3 mana 4\3 wich is bad. ( Ok he will eventually comeback with Nzoth, but still... )

It's not like you're playing with only that card in the deck :) besides, you can buff it or taunt it.

This can be a good replacement for shield block in c'thun warrior, more armor and a body. Awesome!

how to counter aggro with aggro
I like this card, it adds a new tension to the game and prompts new strategies. 3 star.
3 mana 4/3 with an upside. I can't think of anything why this will not find at least one deck it fits into. At least playable, more likely good.

This card is still displaying in the warlock section of the KotFT guide. Can you let whoever manages that page know?

Someone tried arguing to me last night that cards like this make Ticking Abomination viable?

More tools for Control Warrior = my interest in Hearthstone is waning fast.
