I wish people would take the time to go through this very site and FIND that they reviled this card in like France or something. stop accusing this thred of being fake.
Through out the promotion for this expansion, Jaina had pink highlights in her hair and radiant blue eyes. The fact that in the artwork of this card these features don't occur is odd...
that means Blazecaller deals 5 damage and heals your for 5 damage and leaves a 6/6 on board.
Still 9 mana and 5 armor seems a little weak and it break the elemental curve, I'd say the card leak is slightly inaccurate, as in It's likely a prototype of the card, not the actual card.
Still, play it with a few elementals already on board, if your opponent is trying to burst you down it could be very strong. Elemental mage is pretty decent already, but it's mostly a tempo deck, not a control deck.
Hell we don't even know if the mana cost of the hero power changes..
Rexxar's Hero card doesn't say anything about a hero power either.
That aside... 9 mana seems awfully steep. You can't even hero power in the same turn, without a coin or a discount. That's the part that makes me seriously doubt the legitimacy. I feel like, for the sake of balance, they'll probably all cost 5 mana. One being mid-game while another is late-game? How's that gonna be fair when hunter has a 4-turn head start on pumping out OP hybrid pups? There's a reason we don't all run Ysera: Infinite value doesn't help if playing it means basically passing your turn and losing the match.

Yes it does. Rexxar's hero power is Zombeast. Where were you?
The card art doesn't match the art on the trailer, Jaina has a pink dye on her hair and her skin is more grey.. on rexxars' case the art from the trailer matches his portrait..
So, I wouldn't take it as it's real.. I think this is fake for that reason alone.
But it seems legit otherwise the effect seems like something that can be made for mage.

its literally on the front page people, come on.
So what? The ad itself doesn't have any art that can't be found and photoshopped in a few minutes. Except that horrible hero art which i have trouble finding.
There's literally no way to assess this card until we see the hero power. As is, it's not very good (too slow, too low value) And if the hero power is useless, it's a bad card. But the hero power could be insane, making it a good card. There's simply no way to know... Keeping in mind that at least for rexxar, the hero power was the most interesting part of the card, and I think it's fair to say we haven't even seen half the card yet.
It's like making a thread to try to assess the cards we see in the trailer with no text and no stats and no mana. How are we suppose to do that...? All your doing is ruining the poll for when it does actually come out... Unless you make a whole new poll.
Edit: Also why is this. Like, a leaked card, that might not be real, and hasn't had the biggest part of it shown. In the currently revealed cards area...? There's like, at least two issues with putting it there right now. Heathpwn is really jumping the gun on this one.
This may be the final straw for Ice Block to go to the HOF. This card doesn't seem crazy strong, but I think people might be under-valuing this. Elemental Mage was on the boarder of being playable. And although 9 mana seems a bit steep, the fact that Ice Block still exists in standard, the Elemental heal might just push it over the edge. The only remaining item here though is what the hero power will be. Do you get to keep the "ping" Mage hero power or will this turn into a passive hero power being the "Lifesteal" aspect? If you get an additional non-passive hero power or keep the "ping", this could be very, very strong.

Yeah, this card and for the next two turns two ice blocks while you up yourself to 30 again. I think we're definitely going to see ice block going to hall of fame next standard year.
Where is the hero power hero cards suppose to give you a different hero power + This card is just a trash.
If this is real I hope I don't get this.
You have noted yourself that, supposing it is real, we don't have all of the information. So what are you basing your opinion of it being "trash" on?
Besides, Un'Goro showed very well that the community's ability to assess cards before playing with them, especially before seeing the entire set, is pretty poor. So I wouldn't bother knocking (or praising) cards yet
With Blazecaller, Pyros and solid removal, control mage is quite able to keep up a decent board in the late game. Play this with a Blazecaller in play, and that's 11 recovery rather than 5.
That, and do we know how lifesteal interacts with things like Blazecaller's battlecry yet?

If it cost (6) it is really powerful.
But if (9) is its real cost, it is too slow and with no immediate impact...

If this is real I hope I don't get this.
If its real, its busted. (especially if hero power summon counts for elemental synergy)
Mage is a class that can go for the long game, and this card supports it.
You can make an elemental deck out of this, but you dont need to. It fits in existing archetypes as well as potential new ones.

Hero power: Add Blazecaller to your hand. it cost 2 less.
lol JK.
I hope it is fake, cause I don't like the art, should have taken from cinematic when Jaina calls/summons Lord Marrowgar
Same as hunter DK hero power but with elementals maybe? I'd be ok with this.
