After 2 months of intensive arena, today in casual i run into a couple of priest both running 2x mind vision. When did it start to see play and to counter what?
Its actually a fun card. If you're facing control and you drop this badboy mid-game, you're going to net yourself something good. However, in a world filled with aggro and specific setups, theres a much better bet to add something you can always use to your deck.
As a result, even the other, better, mind-rape cards aren't being used.
Was about to make a rank 20 joke but casual is below that even. Come on, try to put 2 and 2 together. Mind Vision is a basic card. Noobs play casual because they start getting demolished at ranks above 17-18...
More like right at Rank 20. I'm still amazed how many meta netdecks exist even at rank 21 sometimes.
Though it can be really cheeky because there's a tiny chance you steal something huge like a quest reward, the card generally generates so little value that it can be considered too weak for any type of proper competitive priest list.

Today in casual I saw someone playing renounce darkness. When did renounce become a thing. Is it tier 1 or tier 2 I'm not sure from the meaningless casual game I had. Maybe I should go back to arena where I don't have to worry about these complicated meta reads.

I apologies with all this super pro guys that i bothered with my silly thread.
1) i maybe should have mention that i also read few days ago how some players choose to keep cards like Tirion, Ysera and other powerful cards vs priest to avoid that they may discover it with Drakonid Operative. And one of the answers was "that's why i run mind vision". That was the first bell ringing.
2) I'm sorry, but yes, i'm enjoying arena much more than ladder lately. I'm just a guy who likes play control, and it may have occurred to you that until 10 days ago there was a a super interactive and fun deck called quest rogue full of 5/5 charge cost 1. And what about the super funny and interactive "discover random shit, die twice (or more times) whitout actually dying, then play Alexstrasza and throw fireball to face"? So yes, i rather Arena, is great to get cheap packs and there is some thinking involved, but i know, thinking it's not for everyone.
3) Yes, i play casual when i have to complete quests with deck that i don't like to play, like hunter, druid or with warlock (why bother losing stars with warlock in ranked?)
4) Casual means nothing, ok. In fact, is not common at all to see top meta decks 100% complete. Never happened. And i never saw people playing pirate warrior, token druid, quest rogue and so on in this game mode, NEVER EVER.
5) FYI, i usually get rank 5 every season just for the golden epic and then stop playing ranked.
CYA ;)

yeah, few games in casual doesn't mean anything.
Mind Vision has always been a thing. I rarely see a Priest that doesn't run at least one.
I run it on my f2p acc for the 50 priest class quest. So it must be a top meta card, right?

Miracle priest runs one , But then again that deck sucks so...
"Nerf Paper," said Rock.
Lyra fodder and probably saw Kibler use it in a game once.

That's Incredible!
even when this card is bad i get nervous when my enemy play it.
