I'm surprised Bloodlust hasn't been mentioned. It makes it much too easy for Shaman to make you think he has set up lethal, forcing you to use your boardclears against stupid totems and low stated golems, just to see the same threat rise up again next turn. Its a card that you have to play around all game long.
Mostly Murloc Warleader because that little pos is the only reason why murlocs can snowball so easily and it triggers me that usually they are the ones that can't be reached Via AoE if both are on the board or cold light hit the turn before.
The fact that it's been around since the game released triggers me more... I can't even bring myself to making Murloc decks anymore because they literally can't work without it, and I wouldn't wish death by fish people on anyone
Primordial Glyph. Whenever it shows up I know I'm either going to die or I spend the rest of the game in anticipation of when the card is used to kill me. But what pisses me off more is the design of it. Out of all the class-specific discover spells, this is by far the strongest regardless of cost. The card would still see a lot of play, far more play than the other discover cards, and when you compare it to something like Finders Keepers or the well-designed Ethereal Conjurer, you wonder why the drastic inconsistency. This plus Ice Block makes Mage a very frustrating class to play against for me.
Jade damn Idol. I hate this retarded-designed card. Sometimes I just want to build a Pirate Warrior because this retarded card doesn't allow you to play control. Man, I hated Quest Rogue but at least its games were ended in maximum of twelve-thirteen turns. But this poor-designed card makes you suffer for 20-30 turns per game and you end up smashing your computer's screen.
And of course this card's best friend 1 mana 15 armor +1/+1 Earthen Scales. What the hell is this card? I only play control: Control Warrior, Control Paladin, Control Mage and Taunt Warrior and this card is literally bulshit. Paladins have to pay 1 mana for 2 heal, Warriors have to pay 1 mana for 5 armor (even though it is a bad card, it is a comparision reference), Mages have to pay 3 mana for 8 armor and Druids have 1 mana +1/+1 and infinite armor, and also they have the damn Feral Rage of course.
Just remove this archetype. It is definitely not fun to play against. It is even more annoying than Burn/Freeze Mage. At least you can play tech cards (Oozes for Medivh and Eater of Secrets) and healing cards against Mage decks. But you have nothing to do against Jade Idol. You just wait until they play their second Gadgetzan Auctioneer.
Okay, since it's so popular here. Can you guys tell me what kind of decks you usually play? This will tell me if my suspicion is correct.
I play ranked with all 9 classes. I have 6/9 golden. I'm currently playing Rogue - Miracle, Shaman - Quest/Elemental/Evolve, Druid - Quest/aggro. Playing these because they're not golden portrait yet.
Freeze Mage being around is a good thing. It's good to have deck variety and different deck strategies. Not everything needs to be curvestone. Freeze Mage has a very unique playstyle, some people love it, other hate it, but having the option to play it is always good for the game. It's never positive to remove variety from the game. And Freeze Mage has actually changed quite a bit since Beta, quite a bit.
The card doesn't need to be nerfed. It is meant to give you immunity for a period of time. Go check out the ability in Warcraft. It doesn't make sense to change the card if it's not a problem for the game and can already be countered.
There were plenty of people who liked the old Druid combo, yet it was deemed stagnant and unhealthy.
And an effect by the same name in WoW has absolutely nothing to do with balancing Hearthstone. If a change needs to be made, WoW lore is not a sufficient reason to hold that back.
Also, there are exactly three non-Classic cards in the most recent freeze Mage decks -- Medivh's Valet, Arcanologist and Primordial Glyph -- all centered around Ice Block. This illustrates both how stagnant the deck is, and how oppressive that card is.
In no particular order. I'd make Patches to be just a regular 2/1 with charge and lifesteal, but not auto-summon from the deck. Ice Block to hall of fame. I'd make Jade Idol to increase the mana cost along with the jade golem, for instance a 3/3 golem for 3 mana, etc. and also i'd put a limit of 7/7 golems, for 7 mana of course. Primordial Glyph should discover spells but without discounting 2, and even then it would see a lot of play. And Shadow Visions should discover a spell in your deck but increase the cost by 1.
Jade Idol it's just as retarded but at least I don't face that much jades anymore (fck u msog alleluja ungoro)
You made me laugh hahah. But on ranks 5 to 3 after the nerf its just full of jades. No more token druids, only jades.
Oh shit lul luckly I got rank 5 early this month and stopped playing ranked cause I don't care about legend. People that designed that card should burn in hell :/

poeple have already said it but i hate Jade Idol. Hated it since the start of gadgetzan and i still do, but im fine with all the other cards
Jade Idol only because of Auctioneer. To hell with that shit.

Jade Idol, or Gadgetzan Auctioneer.

Anyfin Can Happen
So glad this is mostly disappeared even in wild. Either hex both warleaders or lose game to second Anyfin. Ugh.

Primordial Glyph is completely nuts, but Devolve is quite annoying too

Devolve. I enjoy playing synergy-focused decks. As such, screw off Devolve. Enough said.
Honorable mention to every Priest minion-steal card. All of them.

I hate murlocs.

Jade Idol, not even a challenge.

A few cards that are frustrating to play against would be Ice Block Vilefin Inquisitor and Flametongue Totem but they aren't that bad really.
